All of the personal characteristics, network, trust, and consulting experience had a significant influence on the entrepreneurial intention, while the external control and reciprocity norms had a significant influence on the entrepreneurial anxiety. The experience of consulting revealed that it has a moderating effect of weakening influence of risk-taking tendency and network on the entrepreneurial will and strengthening the influence of external control on the entrepreneurial anxiety. This research has significance in terms of distinguishing effects of entrepreneurial intention and anxiety and the moderating effect of consulting. In future research, it is expected that verification of entrepreneurial anxiety should be done.

  • This study investigated the effects of drawing and writing as methods to assist students in connecting and integrating multiple external representations provided in learning the particulate nature of matter. Seventh graders (N=224) at a coed middle school were assigned to a control group, a drawing group, and a writing group. The students were taught about "Boyle's Law" and "Charles's Law" for two class periods. Students observed macroscopic phenomena through experiments. After this observation, students in the control group learned the topic with both external visual and verbal representations simultaneously. Students in the drawing group drew their mental model from the external verbal representation provided, and then compared their drawing with external visual representation. Students in the writing group wrote their mental model from the external visual representation provided, and then compared their writing to the external verbal representation. The two-way ANCOVA results revealed that the scores of a conception test for the writing group were significantly higher than those for the control group. While the drawing group performed better than the control group, the difference is relatively smaller. There were no significant interactions between the instruction and spatial visualization ability in the scores of the conception test. Most students perceived the writing or drawing activities helpful in understanding the concepts, and a few students responded that the writing or drawing activity was interesting. Educational implications were discussed.

  • The increasing trend of the five violent crimes (murder, robbery, rape, violence, theft) in Korea is not independent of social and economic factors. Several social science research have discussed about this issue but most of them do not properly reflect the nature of the time-series data. Based on several time series models, we studied about the endogenous factors (time, seasonal and cycle factors) and exogenous factors (economical, social change and crime control factors) on violent crime occur in Korea. Autocorrelation were also taken into account. Through this study, we want to help to make preventive policy by explaining the cause of violent crime and predicting the future incidence of it.

  • This study was to conceptualize Palzha and investigate Palzha inference as mode of self-view. In general, people would like to attribute their unhappy and unfortunate life events or histories to Palzha which is given by the supernatural being. According to analysis of interviews and open-ended responses concerning on Plazha, Palzha indicated 'luck', 'uncontrollable situation', or 'fate' given by the supernatural being. In study 2, we conducted an analysis of the relationship between locus of control belief and Palzha attribution. More having external control belief, more tending to attributing the rugged life events or histories, and unexpected fortunate events to Palzha. Consequently, Palzha as mode of self-view on everyday events or life-events indicated it is likely to be another dimension of attribution on negative as well as positive life events in Korean culture.

  • In a sense that achievement emotion is directly associated with achievement activity of students and its result, drastic changes in educational environment such as expansion of e-learning due to COVID-19 may have a large impact on the achievement emotion of students inevitably. However, studies on the foregoing still remain insufficient, and development of a questionnaire capable of making a quantitative measurement on the achievement emotion of students under the environment of e-learning may become the basis of relevant studies, so this study developed the e-learning Achievement Emotions Questionnaire-Korean Middle school Science(e-AEQ-KMS) and verified its validity. e-AEQ-KMS in this study was developed based on the Achievement Emotions Questionnaire-Korean Middle school Science (AEQ-KMS) and by reflecting characteristics of e-learning science class. With 226 questions in total, the questionnaire is composed to measure 9 kinds of achievement emotion such as enjoyment, hope, pride, relief, anger, anxiety, hopelessness, shame, and boredom under 3 academic situations of class situation, learning situation and testing situation. The result of this study has a great significance in the way that it set out a framework for making a comparative analysis quantitatively on the achievement emotion of Korean middle school students in science for e-learning classes.

  • Students experience a variety of achievement-related emotions during the process of learning the science curriculum. The purpose of this study is to develop an achievement emotions questionnaire for Korean middle school science curriculum to measure the achievement emotions that middle school students experience during study of this curriculum, and verified its validity. The Achievement Emotions Questionnaire-Korean Middle School Science is based on the English version of the Achievement Emotions Questionnaire, developed with reference to Korean middle school science curriculum and the characteristics of science study, from the perspective of the control-value theory of achievement. It has 232 questions, configured to measure nine achievement emotions across three types of academic settings. The questionnaire results can be treated with a high degree of confidence according to the result of our validation, which also verified that the achievement emotions of these students are configured with four internal criteria (learning strategy, achievement motivation and course grade), as suggested by the control-value theory; this in turn verifies that the nine achievement emotions are sufficiently distinctive across study situations. Last, it was verified that the questionnaire has sufficient external validity based on a comprehensive examination of the relation between science achievement emotions and the four criterion variables for each student. This suggests that through the development and implementation of this quantitative questionnaire, basic ground was provided to understand the achievement emotions experienced by middle school students learning the science curriculum.
