본 연구는 기술사업화 역량과 외부기술획득활동이 신제품개발성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구이다. 최근의 기술창업기업은 기존 조직 내부의 기술들 이외에 외부의 다양한 기술들을 들여와 기존 기술과 융 복합하여 기술 사업화를 도모하여 치열한 글로벌 경제 환경 속에서 경쟁력을 갖추기 위해 노력하고 있다. 정책적으로도 글로벌 경쟁력과 첨단기술을 갖춘 중소 벤처기업 육성 안이 대거 포함되어 기술기반의 기술창업기업을 창출하고 육성하여 기술사업화를 촉진하고 있다. 이와 더불어 기술사업화의 핵심적 요소로 간주되고 있는 기술사업화역량 및 외부기술획득활동은 여러 측면에서 연구되고 있다. 따라서 현 시점에서 기술기반의 기술창업기업의 창출과 지속적인 성장을 위해 기술사업화 역량과 외부기술획득활동이 신제품개발 성과에 미치는 영향을 검증함으로써 궁극적으로 기술창업기업의 신제품개발성과 향상을 위하여 어떤 노력을 해야 하는가를 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 기술창업기업을 대상으로 자료를 수집, 실증분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구결과는 향후 기술기반의 기술창업 기업의 기술사업화 역량과 외부기술획득활동이 신제품개발성과 향상을 위한 시사점을 제공할 뿐만 아니라 성공적인 기술사업화에 미치는 효과에 대한 연구 확산에도 기여할 수 있을 것이라고 판단된다.

한국전력공사에서는 국내의 타 기관과 전략적 제휴를 통한 연구자원 공동 출자방식의 협동연구개발 체제를 구축하고 지난 ''98년 2월부터 본격적으로 시행하고 있다. 이 협동연구개발은 기존의 공동연구개발과는 차이가 있는데 공동연구개발의 경우, 연구예산은 공사에서 전약 부담하고 연구내용의 일정부분을 외부기관에 의뢰하는 기술의 단 방향 아웃소싱 개념이라면 협동연구개발은 공사와 협동연구기관이 공동출자 및 기술협력을 통해 공동의 목표를 실현하는 양방향 아웃소싱이라고 할 수 있다. 경쟁력이 있는 분야만을 선택하여 집중투자하고 그 외의 것은 외부로부터 지원을 받아 목적을 달성함으로써 조직과 시설을 슬림화하고 핵심역량을 더욱 강화하는 것이 국내외의 신경영 추세인데, 이러한 협동연구개발의 확대시행은 취약한 국내의 연구개발 여건을 감안할 때 많은 효과가 기대된다. 즉 국내의 전력기술 관련 산학연이 자체 핵심역량을 명확히 하여 자원을 집중하게 됨으로써 기관별 핵심분야의 국제경쟁력을 단시간에 키울 수 있게 될 것이고 이미 외부에서 이루어진 비핵심분야의 기술혁신 성과 및 전문적인 능력을 효과적으로 이용할 수 있게 될 것이다.

The business environment changing very fast with technology advance and convergence makes the role of R&D become more and more important to firms' success. By analyzing the 683 firm-level data of small and medium venture firms with the ordinary least squares regression, this study sheds new light on the following four points. First, small and medium venture firms' exterior R&D collaboration network heterogeneity positively impacts their import substitution from technology development. Second, the existence of the corporate R&D center moderates the positive impact of small and venture firms' exterior R&D collaboration network heterogeneity on their import substitution from technology development. Third, small and venture firms' exterior R&D information network heterogeneity positively impacts their import substitution from technology development. Fourth, The existence of the corporate R&D center moderates the positive influence of small and venture firms' exterior R&D information network heterogeneity on their import substitution from technology development.

With a view to deepening the research stream on the factors positively influencing the export growth and the employment increase of South Korean small and medium companies, this research has developed the research model about the impact of small and medium companies' external technology R&D collaboration network heterogeneity on their export growth and employment increase, and has empirically tested the research model with the 2,200 data collected from the small and medium companies in the South Korea. This study illuminates the two points from the empirical testing results. One point is that small and medium companies' external technology R&D collaboration network heterogeneity significantly and positively influences their employment increase from technology development. The other point is that small and medium companies' export growth from technology R&D partially mediates the impact of the external technology R&D collaboration network heterogeneity on their employment increase from technology R&D.

This research empirically analyzes not only the direct impact of the external technological information network diversity of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on the sales growth from their technology development but also the mediating impact of their productivity improvement and the moderating effect of the technology development driven by CEO on this direct impact in order to deepen the research stream on SMEs' external technological information network. Based on the ordinary least squares regression by using 2,200 data of South Korean SMEs, this study reveals the three findings. First, SMEs' external technological information network diversity positively influences their sales growth from technology development. Second, SMEs' productivity improvement partially mediates this positive influence of the external technological information network diversity. Third, SMEs' technology development driven by CEO moderates the positive influence.

본 연구에서는 공공 시설물 관리를 위한 센서 융합 기술을 활용한 M2M 기반의 외부 디바이스 및 내장 미들웨어 시스템을 개발하였다. 시설안전체계의 개선 및 M2M 기반기술을 접목한 기술개발을 통해 시설물 안전수준은 급격히 향상되고. 있다 무인 시설물 관리를 위하여 지속적인 촬영 및 저장방식이 아닌 센서와 영상 데이터를 융합하여 상황인지 방식의 외부 디바이스 및 내장 미들웨어 시스템을 개발하고 정보에 대한 신뢰성을 향상시켜 센서 융합형 외부 디바이스를 활용하여 이벤트 발생시에만 정보 전달을 통해 데이터 전송이 감소되는 효율적인 감시시스템을 개발하였다.

Enterprises' new technology development capability is essential for creating successful product innovation and process innovation in the heavy competition in the business context changing quickly with technology convergence and development. Based on the open innovation perspective, this research develops a research model about the direct effect of small and medium venture companies' exterior information network heterogeneity on their new technology development capability and the mediating impact of their product planning capability on this direct effect. This study statistically tests the research model by using the ordinary least squares regression with the 683 small and medium venture companies, providing two major findings as follows. One finding is that small and medium venture companies' exterior information network heterogeneity positively impacts their new technology development capability. The other finding is that small and medium venture companies' product planning capability perfectly mediates the positive effect of their exterior information network heterogeneity on their new technology development capability.

최근 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경의 실현 가능성이 높아지면서 동적으로 변화하는 외부 환경에서의 소프트웨어 역할이 중요해지고 있다. 유비쿼터스 환경에서는 소프트웨어가 외부환경의 변화를 감지하고 이에 대응하는 적절한 서비스를 제공하기 위해서 지속적으로 외부환경에 대한 정보를 이용하게 된다. 이러한 외부환경에 대한 정보, 즉 상황정보를 이용하는 상황인식 애플리케이션을 개발하기 위해서는 소프트웨어의 기능을 분석하고 설계하는 것뿐만 아니라 소프트웨어가 동작하는 외부환경의 변화를 분석하고 설계하는 것이 병행되어야 한다. 기존의 소프트웨어 설계 방법들은 소프트웨어가 동작하는 외부환경의 변화를 분석하고 이를 상황정보로서 획득하기 위한 방법에 대한 고려가 부족하였다. 본 논문에서는 상황인식 애플리케이션을 위해 획득되어야 하는 상황정보를 분석하고 모델링하는 방법을 제시한다. 또한 이를 이용하여 상황인식 애플리케이션이 수행해야 하는 상황규칙을 정의하는 방법을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 제시한 방법을 적용한 상황인식 강의실 관리시스템에 대한 개발 사례연구를 소개한다.

Investigation into the sources of firms' ideas for new product development is very important because the capabilities of developing new products determine the competitiveness of a firm. This study aims at drawing the managerial implications for new product development in terms of the autonomy and the size of firms. To do this, this study analyzes how the capabilities of developing new products and the sources of ideas are different by the types of firms. More concretely, it compares differences in the capabilities of developing new products between types of firms, and in the sources of ideas for new product development between internal sources and external sources.

본 논문에서는 실제 작업 상황에 대한 신체역학적 해석을 할때에 기술적으로 어려운 부분중의 하나로 지목되는 외부하중 추정방법을 제시하고 그에 대한 결과로, 실제상황에 있어서의 외부하중과 외부모멘트의 분포를 구하였다. 개발된 외부하중 추정방법은 Psychophysics의 RPE(Ratings of Perceived Exertion)의 개념에 근거하였으며, 외부하중은 RPE와 그밖의 작업 혹은 개인적 특성을 나타내는 변수들에 의한 회귀분석으로 추정되었다. 구해진 실제 상황에서의 외부하중분포로부터 다양한 수작업의 특성과 그리고 그에 따르는 각 손관절의 역할을 해석하였다.
