An Exploratory Study on Tourism-related Behavior of Popular Cultural Tourists Visiting Korea (방한 대중문화 관광객의 관광행동에 대한 탐색적 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to categorize tourists according to the types of Korean popular culture as travel motives and to explore their characteristics and behavior in the tourism-related decision-making process. A sample of 12,914 leisure tourists from the 2018 foreign tourist survey data was analyzed using MNL and ANOVA. The popular cultural tourists were categorized into K-food, K-fashion, and K-pop groups. They showed a higher percentage of female tourists, social media usage in the tourism information search, and visits from countries geographically close to Korea. K-pop tourists did not hesitate to choose Korea as the destination and visited Korea the most frequently. They showed the highest satisfaction, revisit intention and recommendation intention, suggesting loyalty and growth potential.

A Re-examination the study on the Gogureoy Geomungo (고구려 거문고 연구 재검토)

  • The Geomungo(거문고) is a instrument of Gogureoy(高句麗). The instrument had covered a lot of Korea, so it have become a important musical instrument in Korea. Hayasi Genjo(林謙三), Japanese scholar, had maintained his opinion that the Geomungo of Gogureoy is the Wagonghu(臥??), and the Geomungo was formed later, the record of Kimbusik, wrighter of the History of Three Kingdom(三國史記), was incredible. Lee-Hyegu refuted his hypothesis because the introduction on the Wagonghu of Japan have been inaccurate. Since then, many scholars of Korea have studed on the Geomungo of Gogureoy. But their study of the Geomungo was inclined to the topic, relation of the Geomungo and the Wagonghu, or the Wagonghu, the origin of the Geomungo. And They have thought that the record of Kimbusik's was truth. Kimbusik had recorded that Wangsanak(王山岳) had made the Geomungo from the Chilheoyn-Geum(七絃琴, Seven stringed Zither. 古琴). But the Geomungo was different from Geum(琴), but similar to Wagonghu. Many ancient tomb have been unearthed in the old land of Gogureoy, and the were many tomb painting of Gogureoy Geomungo. They were many different style, the form, the size, the number of strings and the position of the musician. So I think that many various type of the Geomungo had been exsited in Gogureoy they had become a prestyle of the Geomungo. The Geomungo was originated from the Wagonghu, its form was similar to the Geomungo. The many scholars considered that it is truth, the Wagonghu was handed down from China, and was spreded to Japan. But there were the Wagonghu in the early Joseon(古朝鮮), The song of the early Joseon, Gongmudohaga(公無渡河歌). The song was accompanied by the Wagonghu. We can read off, at the Song, the Wagonghu had exsisted in the early Joseon. So I think cautiously on that point, the Wagonghu of the Early Joseon was old than that of China, and thd Geomungo of Gogureoy was originated from the Wagonghu of the Early Joseon.

  • This article examined the current status of performance activities in the theaters in Ulsan during the Japanese colonial period, and examined the characteristics and social roles of performance culture at that time.,The cultural space during the Japanese colonial period can be divided into theater space and semi-theater space.,The theater spaces in Ulsan include Daejeonggwan, Sangbanggwan, and Ulsan Theater. The semi-theater spaces include Ulsan Youth Center, Ulsan Youth Alliance Hall, Barrack Youth Hall, Eonyang Youth Alliance Hall, Eonyang Christian Hall, Eonyang Christian Hall, Eonyang Inn, Eonyang Public Inn, Eonyang Public Normal School, Seosaeng School, Ulsan Public Aid Auditorium, Night school.,These spaces not only held events or performances for a specific purpose, but also played a role as public spaces producing local discourse. The theater was a complex cultural space where performances are performed along with movie performances, and artists and audiences meet.,Furthermore, the theater provided a special experience of producing and consuming various issues such as colonial modernization, modern city formation, and the emergence of new popular culture beyond the meaning of stage space.,The theaters in Ulsan also functioned as a space to represent the foreign culture acceptance, leisure activities, the performance and viewing of cultural contents, and the artistic skills of local artists in accordance with the purpose of establishing local theaters.,It was a base space for local discourse production and enjoyment activities by holding political rallies, meetings, lecture activities, and various conferences.,Political rallies were also concerts, enlightenment activities were also accompanied by film screenings, and music performances were associated with dance performances and charity gatherings.,In particular, Ulsan Theater, which is the first theater in Ulsan, and the role of the public hall, held a lecture, debate, and oratory for public enlightenment along with performances such as musical drama, children's song contest, fairy tale contest, small-sized play performance,, It was widely used as a large-scale rallying place, and served as a public hall, such as a place to visit outside theaters. Thus, the theater and semi-theater space in Ulsan during the Japanese colonial period improved the cultural level of the region, fulfilling the aesthetic needs of the local people and faithfully fulfilling the social role as a public sphere leading the public opinion and agenda.,And it was also positioned as an alternative public area of ​​modern society and also played a role as a public institution.

  • Although German Neo-expressionism and Chinese modern ink painting are separated by thousands of miles in geographical space, they have a similar origin time, and there are many commonalities between them. In the aspect of creative attitude, artists of both styles can absorb and resist foreign styles, return to the past and conquer the tradition. In the aspect of formal expression, the objects of both paintings are representational rather than realistic, and the material characteristics of the media are emphasized. At the inner spiritual level, both expressionism and modern ink painting pay attention to social concern, and show the uncertainty of postmodernism together. The commonality between German neo-expressionism and Chinese modern ink painting does not mean to eliminate the difference, but to maintain the coexistence of difference and commonality.

  • This essay examines the questions that existing high-teen related studies are missing: "What is high-teen?". It is a foreign language originated from Japanese, spoken only in Japan and Korea among the post-war pan East Asian pop culture scenes. High-teen is based on the 'teenager' formed in the United States. It should be understood not just as a subcategory of popular culture but as an important ideological allegory of post-war Japanese politics. To learn this concept, this essay archeologically researches the origin of high-teen's meaning and analyses the political meaning of the early high-teen contents of Ueda Hirao which related to postwar politics and ideology in Japan. Existing research regarding high-teen tends to be limited to the peripheral and fragmentary areas. On the other hand, this paper will be the beginning of a discussion on high-teen in a more expanding perspective as an East Asian postwar history.

A Study on Costume Culture Interchange Resulting from Political Factors (정치적 요인에 의한 복식문화교류에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to prove that interchange is a primary factor in costume changes through case analysis in costume culture interchange, and further, to assist in gaining understanding of costume changes of the present and the future, and therefore, in this study, cases analysis was conducted focusing on interchange resulting from political factors. In order to present theories that are able to analyse costume culture interchange, culture, cultural exchange, and costume cultures were examined, and based on the results, a costume culture interchange process model and its three steps, propagation, selection, and reinterpretation, were presented. The results of case study on costume culture interchange resulting from political factors based on the costume culture interchange process model presented are as follows. Interchanges that politically uses the possibility of expressing costume as symbols are in most cases aggressive and semi aggressive. In order to exhibit superiority of themselves, the aggressors forced their national costumes onto the receiving culture. Rather than a simple introduction of their costumes, it was an attempt to introduce they values and their ways of life. The conclusion that can be reached through such result is that interchange is an important driving force for changes in costume culture. All interchanges were not greatly affected by methods of propagation and acceptance, and resulted in fusion. Fusion is a process in which existing costume and foreign costume come together constructively to for a new costume culture therefore change in costume style is inevitable.

  • 언어 정보 처리가 정보과학의 가장 중요한 분야의 하나로 부상하면서 언어 정보 가치가 높은 실용성있는 우리말 사전의 필요성이 더욱 더 절실해지고 있으며, 또 우리 언어사회에 외래어가 지나치게 범람함으로써 고유 언어 문화를 위협할 정도가 되어 외래 신생어에 대한 대책이 긴요하다 하겠다. 그러므로 본 논문은 최신 전산 기술을 이용하여 우리말 어휘 뭉치를 대량 정보 처리함으로써 우리말 언어 세계를 신속하고 정확하게 반영하며, 실용성있고 사용하기 편리하며, 우리말 어휘 확장에 보조 역할을 해줄 하이퍼텍스트화된 우리말 전자사전을 제안하며 그 원형을 설계 및 구현하였다.

A Comparison of First Time and Repeat Visitors' Tourism Destination -Focusing on Seoul City (최초방문자와 재방문자의 관광목적지 선택차이 연구 -서울지역을 중심으로)

  • This paper investigates differences of tourism destination choices for sightseeing in Seoul between first-time visitors and repeat visitors. We constructed social network using secondary data from '2015 International Visitor Survey' and analyzed its density and centrality. Study results find that: (1) first-time and repeat visitors' tourism destinations are concentrated in areas located north of the Han river. The proximity of destinations suggests the positive effects resulting from the movement network. (2) As the result of degree centrality, closeness centrality, betweenness centrality, the highest ranking tourism destinations for both visitor groups are identical, but indexes of centralities in repeat visitors' destinations increase, including Shinchon/ Hongik University, Gangnam station, and Garosu-gil. Therefore, the roles of these destinations are becoming established as tourism hubs and are popular among younger visitors as well as attract repeat visitors. Results of this study will be a useful reference in developing and managing new tourism products.

CLINICO-STATISTICAL STUDY OF PATIENTS WITH HOARSENESS (사성환자의 임상통계적 관찰)

  • 사성이란 후두의 발생기능에 장애가 있을 때 생기는 후두질환의 가장 대표적인 주증상으로 인간 문화의 발달에 병행되어서 대화에 의한 전달수단이 중요시되고 또한 암에 대한 인식이 높아져 사성을 호소하는 환자들이 많아지는 경향이 있다. 이에 저자는 1980년 1월부터 1984년 12월까지 이화여자대학교 의과대학 부속병원 이비인후과 외래에 내원한 신외래환자 총 24,949명 중 사성을 주소로 한 800명의 환자에 대하여 병력지를 기준하여 각 질환을 통계적으로 분석 검토하여 다음과 같은 성적을 얻었다. 1) 이비인후과 외래환자 총 24,949명중 사성환자는 800명으로 약 3.2%이었다. 2) 외래사성환자 800명중 남자 336명, 여자 464명으로 남녀비는 약 1 : 1.4이었다. 3) 질환별로는 급성 후두염 248예(31.0%), 만성 후두염 186예(23.3%), 성대결절 160예(20.0%), 성대폴립 90예(11.3%), 성대마비 56예(7.0%), 후두 유두종 12예(1.5%), 후두암 9예(1.1%)이었다. 4) 연령별로는 30대가 213예(26.6%), 20대가 190예(23.8%), 40대가 179예(22.4%)의 순이었다. 5) 각 질환별 최다연령은 급성 후두염 30대 73예(29.4%), 만성 후두염 30대 53예(28.5%), 성대결절 30대 52예(32.5%), 성대폴립 40대 26예(28.9%), 성대마비 40대 14예(25.0%), 후두암 50대 6예(66.7%)이었다. 6) 발병부터 초진까지의 기간은 10일 이내가 153예(19.1%)로 제일 많았고 1개월∼3개월 138예(17.3%), 11일∼l개월 119예(14.9%)의 순이었다. 7) 각 질환에 따른 발병부터 초진까지의 기간의 최다분포는 급성 후두염은 10일 이내가 117예(47.2%), 만성 후두염은 3개월∼6개월이 44예(23.7%), 성대결절은 3개월∼6개월이 40예(25.0%), 성대폴립은 6개월∼1년이 20예(22.2%), 성대마비는 10일이내가 12예(21.4%)이었다. 8) 질환별 동반증상 분포는 사성만을 호소한 경우가 394예(41.4%)로 가장 많았고 동반증상으로는 인두통, 이물감, 객담, 기침, 연하장애, 호흡곤란의 순이었다. 9) 저자의 연도별 사성환자의 평균발생빈도(3.2%)를 문(1981)의 1975년 1월부터 1979년 12월(만 5년간)까지의 평균발생빈도(2.9%)와 비교할 때 증가하였다.

인마새트 위성 서비스 동향 및 향후 전망

  • 전 세계에 위성이동통신 서비스를 제공하고 있는 인마새트 시스템은 해사통신 및 선박의 안전운항을 목적으로 UN산하 국제해사위성기구(INMARSAT: International Maritime Satellite Organization)로 설립되었다. 그 후 기존에 제공하던 해상 위주의 서비스 외에 항공 및 육상 이동통신서비스가 추가되면서 국제이동위성기구(INMARSAT: International Mobile Satellite Organization)라는 이름과 병행하여 사용하여 오다가 최근 민영화되었다. 이에 따라 인마새트는 육상, 해상, 항공서비스를 제공하면서 86개의 회원국으로 운영되어오다가 민영화되면서 이들 회원국은 모두 투자사로 전환되었다. 하지만 기존에 제공하여온 해상조난안전통신 등 공익성을 갖는 기능에 대해서는 향후에도 지속적인 서비스가 제공되도록 별도로 IMSO(International Maritime Satellite Organization)라는 감독기관을 두어 관장하고 있다. 인마새트는 전세계적으로 글로벌 위성이동통신 서비스를 최초로 제공한 이래 아직까지도 해상, 육상, 항공 등 전 분야에 통신서비스를 제공하는 유일한 사업자이다. 더구나 최근 저궤도 위성을 이용한 GMPCS의 성장추세가 예상보다 크게 둔화되면서 상대적으로 비용이 저렴한 정지궤도 위성 시스템인 인마새트 서비스가 더욱 활성화되는 추세이다. 이에 인마새트 서비스를 위한 신형 장비도 추가 개발되고 있으며 서비스 영역이 확장되는 등 그 중요성이 부각됨에 따라 향후 상당기간동안 인마새트 시스템에 부가기능을 추가하면서 재난시 비상연락수단은 물론이고 일상적인 통신수단의 영역까지 확대될 것으로 전망된다.인 방법이다. 활성물질의 생성시간과 가공시간은 불과 수십 $\mu\textrm{s}$ 및 수 sec 에 불과하므로, 1 kton/h 용량의 수산기활성제 제조장치의 환산소비동력은 약 200 kW이고, 장치의 체적은 10~30 ㎥의 공간으로 충분하므로, 소형선박으로 상당면적의 적조피해를 효과적으로 해결할 수 있다.의 특성을 이용하여 워터마크를 삽입한다.송 시스템을 구현될 수 있음을 검증하였다.출량을 비교한 결과 토사 유출 억제효과는 한지형과 나지형잔디들의 혼합형(MixtureIII)과 자생처리구(MixtureV), Italian ryegrass와 자생식물의 혼합형(MixtureIV)등에서 비교적 낮은 수치를 토사유출량을 기록하였다. 이러한 결과는 자생식물들이 비록 초기생육속도는 외래도입초종에 떨어지지만 토사유출의 억제효과면에서는 이들 외래초종에 필적할 수 있음을 나타낸다고 할 수 있겠다.중량이 약 115kg/$m^2$정도로 나타났다.소 들(환경의 의미, 사람의 목적과 지식)보다 미학적 경험에 주는 영향이 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 모든 사람들에게 비슷한 미학적 경험을 발생시키는 것 이 밝혀졌다. 다시 말하면 모든 사람들은 그들의 문화적인 국적과 사회적 인 직업의 차이, 목적의 차이, 또한 환경의 의미의 차이에 상관없이 아름다 운 경관(High-beauty landscape)을 주거지나 나들이 장소로서 선호했으며, 아름답다고 평가했다. 반면에, 사람들이 갖고 있는 문화의 차이, 직업의 차 이, 목적의 차이, 그리고 환경의 의미의 차이에 따라 경관의 미학적 평가가 달라진 것으로 나타났다.corner$적 의도에 의한 경관구성의 일면을
