Analysis of South Korea Outdoor Design Temperature with respect to Assigned Period of the Weather Data (기상 데이터 산정 기간에 따른 국내의 설계용 외기온도 분석)

  • Outdoor design temperature is important for selecting proper capacity of heating and cooling systems of a building to implement indoor thermal comfort and save energy consumption. The purpose of this study is to investigate the change of South Korea outdoor design temperature according to the assigned period. When outdoor design temperature of 8 locations calculated with the latest weather data during 2008~2015 years using ASHRAE Bin method are compared to the standard temperature of Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport which is widely used for designing South Korea air-conditioning system at present, the maximum temperature difference becomes $0.97^{\circ}C$ for cooling, and $1.94^{\circ}C$ for heating. Due to wide outdoor temperature variation, update of outdoor design temperature based on recent weather data is recommended.

  • In the present study, optimal heat supply algorithm which minimize the heat loss through the distribution pipe line in group energy apartment was developed. Variation of heating load of group energy apartment building in accord with the outdoor air temperature was predicted by the heating load-outdoor temperature correlation. Supply water temperature and mass flow rate were controlled to minimize the heat loss through distribution pipe line. District heating apartment building located in Hwaseong city, which has 1,473 households, was selected as the object building for testing the present heat supply a1gorithm. Compared to the previous heat supply system, 10.4% heat loss reduction can be accomplished by employing the present method.

  • STACIR/AW은 최근 사용이 증가되고 있는 증용량전선으로 기존 송전선에 비해 많은 전류를 송전하면서도 이도특성이 우수한 장점을 가지고 있다. 이 논문에서는 STACIR/AW 전선의 온도 및 대전류특성에 대한 실증시험을 위하여 구축된 송전선로용 3[kA]급 대전류 발생 장치를 이용해 345kV 송전선로의 표준경간인 350m 시험선로에 $480\;mm^2$$410\;mm^2$ 전선을 가선하여 전류 특성 시험을 수행하였다. 본 논문에서는 최대 허용전류에 대한 단계별 이도특성을 외기 조건과 전선의 장력 변화를 고려하여 고찰하여 국내 주요 전선사의 증용량전선에 대한 신뢰성을 검증하고, 또한 계절별 특성시험 및 환경시험 챔버를 이용한 참고시험과 기본적 동적해석을 통하여 외기 조건에 전선의 최대허용전류를 검토하였다. 또한 실선로에 적용된 $480\;mm^2$$410\;mm^2$ 의 증용량 전선에 최대 부하율을 파악하고 동일 조건에 부하전류를 인가한 실증시험을 통하여 전선의 이도증가율을 분석하여 상용선로의 운전조건을 검토하였다.

  • A lot of research is being done to develop a high-efficiency heat pump to save energy, and research to reduce or eliminate the phenomenon of frost occurring in the outdoor unit coil is also being conducted at the same time. In order to conduct a study that does not cause frost on the outdoor unit of the heat pump regardless of the season, a constant temperature chamber like a general room that can be tested under the same conditions as in the natural state was built. The experiment was conducted by providing an environment similar to the natural state to the outdoor unit of the heat pump installed in the constant temperature chamber. As a result, the lower the outdoor temperature, the lower the efficiency of the heat pump. It wat confirmed that the lower the value, the longer it is.

A constant temperature chamber that can be tested under the same conditions as natural conditions was constructed to conduct research that does not cause frost on the outdoor unit of the heat pump regardless of the season. The outdoor unit of the heat pump installed in the constant temperature chamber was simulated under the same natural conditions. As a result, it was confirmed that the mass flow rate of the refrigerant decreased as the outdoor temperature decreased, and the dryness of the refrigerant also increased linearly with the outdoor temperature.

  • In this paper, cooling system of power transformers is proposed for temperature optimized control. We predict the peak temperature of power transformer coils using load factors and construct a cooling system using weighting function. For the optimized temperature control for power transformer, a correlation function based on the load factor of a load current and the each temperatures for winding coils, for air and for oil is presented to predict the winding-coil peak temperature. Also, the results controlled by applying the power transformer is presented.

  • 대용량의 정보처리에 필요한 새로운 광원에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있는 가운데, 광원과 광변조 능력을 동시에 가지고 있는 VCSEL이 상당한 주목을 받아 왔지만, 이 소자는 발진하는 레이저의 파장이 활성층의 온도 변화에 따라 천이하는 점과, 편광의 변질 등으로 인해 8$\times$8이상의 고집적 어레이 제작이 어려운 단점이 있어 실용화에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 마이크로 디스크의 위스퍼링 갤러리 모드를 응용한 광양자테 (PQR) 레이저가$^{[l,2]}$ 지닌 몇 가지 특성들은 VCSEL이 가진 문제들을 해결할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하고 있다. 수 $\mu$A에서 nA급의 문턱전류로 구동할 수 있어 주입전류에 의한 활성층의 온도변화 통제가 가능하며, VCSEL이 온도가 증가에 따라 출력파장이 선형적으로 증가하는 반면, PQR 레이저의 출력 파장은 (equation omitted)에 비례하여 증가하므로 온도-파장 관계가 포화되는 영역에서는 주입전류나 외기 온도에 의한 영향을 거의 받지 않는 안정성 때문에 고집적 어레이 광원 제작시 유리하다. 또, 레이저 출력면의 각도에 따라 각각 다른 파장의 빛을 방출하므로, 각도에 따른 각 파장별 필터를 이용하면 광센서 등 여러 가지 용도에 응용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.   • As the cooling energy requirement in an office building increases due to the increased internal heat gains, the effort to minimize the energy consumption through efficient operation of existing HVAC systems will be beneficial. In this study, one of the energy conserving efforts in an office building, operational strategies of Economizer Cycle Control have been investigated through DOE-2.1E computer simulation. The findings can be summarized : 1) Economizer Cycle Control saves energy throughout the year, 2) Econo-Limit-T must be applied seasonally based on the outside and return air conditions, 3) use of Enthalpy control is more energy efficient than that of Temperature control.

  • Modern apartment houses are constructed to be relatively airtight with a high heat insulation system to increase the energy efficiency. Such a system has a range of deleterious effects due to the insufficient ventilation. In this study, the ondol system, which is used as a heat source typical of winter in Korea, was set as the default system to evaluate the indoor heat environment according to the ventilation method, the factors of energy reduction by the ventilation system was analyzed. The experimental apparatus was used to simulate the ambient conditions for a certain constant temperature and humidity chamber. The experimental results showed that the supply water temperature higher air volume decreases with increasing supply air temperature in the following order: floor supply/exhaust > total heat exchange supply/exhaust > forced supply/exhaust. Through this study, the applicability of various ventilations could be examined.

  • In this paper, among various systems applying hot-gas bypass control, outdoor temperature, outlet temperature of water cooler, superheating and subcooling degree, which are the factors affecting the performance of the system bypassing hot-gas to evaporator inlet were analyzed. The main results were summarized as following. Frist of all, performance of refrigeration system bypassing hot-gas to evaporator inlet was affected by outdoor temperature, outlet temperature of water cooler, superheating and sub cooling degree. Thus, providing basic planning date of refrigeration system obtained through optimization of variables is expectable. Thus, providing the basic design data of refrigeration system can be offered by performing the optimization of these variables. Also, the feasibility of this refrigeration system proposed in this paper was obtained by analyzing operating characteristics of the system bypassing hot-gas to evaporator inlet.
