For the microwave high density devices and modules of the 3D configuration, we proposed radial stub for the ground connection. The proposed structure is analyzed by the full-wave analysis of finite element method (FEM) and characterized experimentally. The results show that the return loss is more than 15 dB and the insertion loss is less than 0.5 dB in the frequency range from 2.5 GHz to 6.3 GHz. The proposed grounding scheme will be useful for the ground connection lot the microwave high density devices and module of 3D configuration.

A MF/HF marine whip antenna with side whips, which are connected at an angle with the straight main whip, has reported In this paper, the effects of side whips on the antenna are simulated by using NEC-WIN and a novel MF/HF ship antenna with side whips is designed First of all, the gain, return loss, and radiation pattern of the antenna on infinite perfect conductor plane are simulated as function of the parameters of the side whip, such as the number, the location, the length of the side whip and the angle with the main whip. After that, the size of the antenna is decided and set up on an experimental ship in Korea Maritime University. The antenna on the ship are simulated and the simulated input impedances are good agreement with the measured results.

This study is based on the recent CISPR research which is focused on correlation of OATS and FAR. First, we calculate the correlaton factor about OATS and FAR. We measured the field strengths at the OATS and in the FAR both for 3 m distances to obtain the experimental correlation factors. We programmed correlation factor that calculated from theoretical models. The Results showed the measured correlation factor in 6 dB from 30 to 1,000 MHz. It will be use to substitute FAR for OATS about efficient to measure EMI(Electro Magnetic Interference).

In this paper, Electromagnetic scattering problem by a perfectly conducting strip grating with 2 dielectric layer on a grounded plane by incidence of a electric wave is analyzed by applying the PMM (Point Matching Method) known as a simple procedure. The scattered electromagnetic fields are expanded in a series of Floquet mode functions. The boundary conditions are applied to obtain the unknown field coefficients and the conducting boundary condition is used for the relationship between the tangential electric field and the electric current density on the strip When the incident angle is normal incidence the minimum value of the geometrically normalized reflected power according as relative permittivity is increased it should be noted that the value of the strip width gets moved toward high value. Them most energy by a normal incident wave is scattered in direction of the other angles except normal incident angle.
A widely tunable U-shaped SGDBR (Sampled Grating Distributed Bragg Reflector) laser diode is designed and analyzed by means of a time-domain simulation. The U-shaped SGDBR laser diode consists of SGDBR, active, phase, and TIR (Total Internal Reflection) mirror sections, so the coupling losses across the sections should be carefully considered. The tuning range of the designed U-shaped SGDBR laser is about 1525-1570 nm, which is confirmed by the simulation. The simulation results show that the loss in the TIR mirror region should be less than about 2 dB, and the refractive-index difference at the butt coupling between the passive and active regions should be less than 0.1, to provide the complete tuning range.

In this paper, we analyze a planar electromagnetic absorber by using the mode matching technique(MMT). The proposed electromagnetic absorber has a periodic structure composed of a perfect conductor and ferrite, and the transmitted and reflected powers in response to the incident wave with parallel polarization are calculated according to the thickness of the plate. The proposed absorber shows a high absorption compared to the cases of periodic slits with vacuum or the ferrite plate itself. The solution to the reflected and transmitted powers by MMT is also verified with the results from a commercial simulator.
Although GOCI has potential for land surface monitoring, there have been only a few cases for land applications. It might be due to the lack of reliable land products derived from GOCI data for end-users. To use for land applications, it is often essential to provide cloud-free composite over land surfaces. In this study, we proposed a cloud detection method that was very important to make cloud-free composite of GOCI reflectance and vegetation index. Since GOCI does not have SWIR and TIR spectral bands, which are very effective to separate clouds from other land cover types, we developed a multi-temporal approach to detect cloud. The proposed cloud detection method consists of three sequential steps of spectral tests. Firstly, band 1 reflectance threshold was applied to separate confident clear pixels. In second step, thick cloud was detected by the ratio (b1/b8) of band 1 and band 8 reflectance. In third step, average of b1/b8 ratio values during three consecutive days was used to detect thin cloud having mixed spectral characteristics of both cloud and land surfaces. The proposed method provides four classes of cloudiness (thick cloud, thin cloud, probably clear, confident clear). The cloud detection method was validated by the MODIS cloud mask products obtained during the same time as the GOCI data acquisition. The percentages of cloudy and cloud-free pixels between GOCI and MODIS are about the same with less than 10% RMSE. The spatial distributions of clouds detected from the GOCI images were also similar to the MODIS cloud mask products.

Thermal barrier coating (TBC) is an essential element consisting of a super-alloy base and ceramic coating designed to achieve long operational time under a high temperature and pressure environment. However, the top coat of TBC can be delaminated at certain temperatures with long operation time. As the delamination of TBC is directly related to the blade damage, the coupling status of the TBC should be assured for reliable operation. Conventional studies of nondestructive evaluation have been made for detecting generation of thermally grown oxide (TGO) or qualitatively evaluating delamination in TBC. In this study, the ultrasonic C-scan method was developed to obtain the damage map inside TBC by estimating the delamination in a quantitative way. All specimens were isothermally degraded at $1,100^{\circ}C$ with different time, having different partial delamination area. To detect partial delamination in TBC, the C-scan was performed by a single transducer using pulse-echo method with normal incidence. Partial delamination coefficients of 1 mm to 6 mm were derived by the proportion of the surface reflection signal and flaw signal which were theoretical signals using Rogers-Van Buren and Kim's equations. Using the partial delamination coefficients, the partial delamination maps were obtained. Regardless of the partial delamination coefficient, partial delamination area was increased when degradation time was increased in TBC. In addition, a decrease in partial delamination area in each TBC specimen was observed when the partial delamination coefficient was increased. From the portion of the partial delamination maps, the criterion for delamination was derived.
The various representations are receiving attention in modern society that has so many contents. Among them, the fantasy shows that you can not see in reality. But the intention of these fantasies is not giving a visual fun. The fantasy show the reality through stories that are not in reality. The fantasy that allows readers to continue to make the suspect between the real and the imagination and that suspect arises from the desire of real life. If the desire break the community, the social ideology will collapses. Conversely, if the desire is overturned by community, the social will be maintained. The goal of the fantasy which has the relationships of society is revealed through the various expressions of existence. They are divided into the subject and the other show the inner side of the main character. The subject shows the inner side of the main character by the transformation, alter ego and the other exists. The other shows the desire of the subject by the transformation, alter ego and the strangers. Disney animation studios select the target audience and the message in relation with the society. They choose the original like the fairy tale, myth and change them to satisfy the middle class. The characters of Disney animation says that messages by the expression of fantasy. The subject go through the transformation by twice. The first transformation is antisocial and the second transformation is social. The second shows a complete transformation. The other characters personified show the many kinds of the main character. The other as the alter ego of the main character represents the desire of the subject. They are described as an object of fear and exclusion. They expresses as a dark and menacing looks and hinders the complete transformation of the subject. But they were overthrown by the subject at the end of the story and it strengthen the social ideology. As a result, Disney highlights the value and the moral message of the society by using the representation of fantasy.

In this paper, a tunable fiber feedback laser based on the use of Sagnac loop filter and fiber Bragg grating (FBG) is proposed. The Sagnac loop filter using a high birefringence fiber provides precise 0.33-nm channel spacing as a multi-wavelength grid filter. Ni-Cr wire wound on the FBG is useful to induce the thermo-optic effect of the fiber. Two types of FBG structures, which have a different length of wire, are demonstrated to show the wavelength shift and separation. To tune FBG by resistant heat, some current is supplied into the wire. When the wavelength matched with one of the cavity modes of Sagnac loop filter, the mode-locked lasing is occurred. The electrical power sensitivity of the resonant wavelength is measured to 1.75pm/mW. This laser configuration can be applied the electrical power system for monitoring the power fluctuation.
