Relationship Between GPS Code and Carrier Tracking Performance for GPS Receivers (GPS 수신기에서 코드 추적 성능와 반송파 추적 성능의 관계)

  • In this paper, the relationship between GPS code and carrier tracking performance is given. Through the error analysis and experiments, the performance of code tracking loop can be improved using narrow correlation. The performance of code tracking loop can be also improved if the better carrier tracking loop is used. On the other hand, the performance of carrier tracking loop is independent of that of code tracking loop.

  • 기존의 침임자 대응방식을 보완하기 위해 지능형 관제 시스템과 CCTV 와 다수의 로봇들을 이용하여 객체 인식을 통해 침입자를 인식하고 추적하여 침입자의 좌표를 전송하고 시야에서 사라진 침입자의 위치를 추정하여 로봇들이 침입자의 퇴로를 차단하고 알고리즘을 통해 추정되는 위치를 순찰하며 침입자를 찾아내는 경비 시스템이다.

  • This paper reports the absolute position tracking algorithm of underwater vehicles such as ROV, AUV in global region by fusing sensor informations of IMU, DVL, USBL, DGPS etc. This algorithm is to be used in the position tracking of the 6,000m class deep-sea unmanned underwater vehicle, HEMIRE for scientific exploration.

  • Multi-Object trajectory modeling is a major challenge in MOT. CenterTrack tried to solve this problem with a Heatmap-based method that tracks the object center position. However, it showed limited performance when tracking objects with complex movements and nonlinearities. Considering the degradation factor of CenterTrack as the dynamic movement of pedestrians, we integrated the EKF into CenterTrack. To demonstrate the superiority of our proposed method, we applied the existing KF and UKF to CenterTrack and compared and evaluated it on various datasets. The experimental results confirmed that when EKF was integrated into CenterTrack, it achieved 73.7% MOTA, making it the most suitable filter for CenterTrack.

  • Face tracking is to estimate the motion of a non-rigid face together with a rigid head in 3D, and plays important roles in higher levels such as face/facial expression/emotion recognition. In this paper, we propose an AAM-based face tracking algorithm. AAM has been widely used to segment and track deformable objects, but there are still many difficulties. Particularly, it often tends to diverge or converge into local minima when a target object is self-occluded, partially or completely occluded. To address this problem, we utilize the scale invariant feature transform (SIFT). SIFT is an effective method for self and partial occlusion because it is able to find correspondence between feature points under partial loss. And it enables an AAM to continue to track without re-initialization in complete occlusions thanks to the good performance of global matching. We also register and use the SIFT features extracted from multi-view face images during tracking to effectively track a face across large pose changes. Our proposed algorithm is validated by comparing other algorithms under the above 3 kinds of occlusions.

  • Among modern computer vision and video surveillance systems, the pedestrian counting system is a one of important systems in terms of security, scheduling and advertising. In the field of, pedestrian counting remains a variety of challenges such as changes in illumination, partial occlusion, overlap and people detection. During pedestrian counting process, the biggest problem is occlusion effect in crowded environment. Occlusion and overlap must be resolved for accurate people counting. In this paper, we propose a novel pedestrian counting system which improves existing pedestrian tracking method. Unlike existing pedestrian tracking method, proposed method shows that average filter tracking method can improve tracking performance. Also proposed method improves tracking performance through frame compensation and outlier removal. At the same time, we keep various information of tracking objects. The proposed method improves counting accuracy and reduces error rate about S6 dataset and S7 dataset. Also our system provides real time detection at the rate of 80 fps.

  • Eye tracking is one of the NUI technologies, and it finds out where the user is gazing. This technology allows users to input text or control GUI, and further analyzes the user's gaze so that it can be applied to commercial advertisements. In the eye tracking system, the allowable range varies depending on the quality of the image and the degree of freedom of movement of the user. Therefore, there is a need for a method of estimating the accuracy of eye tracking in advance. The accuracy of eye tracking is greatly affected by how the eye tracking algorithm is implemented in addition to hardware variables. Accordingly, in this paper, we propose a method to estimate how many degrees of gaze changes when the pupil center moves by one pixel by estimating the maximum possible movement distance of the pupil center in the image.

  • GSSHA(Gridded Surface Subsurface Hydrologic Analysis) 모형은 미 공병단 연구개발센터(USACE ERDC; US Army Corps of Engineers Engineering Research and Development Center)체서 개발된 물리적인 개념의 공간 분포형(PBSD; Physically Based Spatially Distributed) 수문모형으로, CASC2D 모형(Ogden 와 Julien, 2002; Downer 등, 2002)을 개선, 확장한 모형이다. GSSHA 모형의 실행에는 Brigham Young 대학의 컴퓨터그래픽공학연구실에 의해 개발된 미 국방성 WMS(Watershed Modeling System) 인터페이스를 사용하며, 이를 통해 많은 입력과 출력조건을 가지는 분포형 모형의 복잡한 모의 과정을 효과적으로 처리할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 GSSHA 모형을 이용하여 경안천 유역의 물순환 양상을 분석하였다. GSSHA 모형은 유역을 균일한 유한 차분 격자로 나누어 각각의 격자를 기본 단위로 모의한다. 모형의 주요 모의 모듈은 강우 분포, 융설, 차단, 침투, 증발산, 지표면 저류, 2차원 표면류 추적, 1차원 하도 추적, 불포화 층 모의, 2차원 포화 지하 대수층 흐름, 지표면 유사 침식, 하천 유사 추적 등이 포함된다.

  • 박물관이나 전시실과 같은 실내 공간에서 관람객들은 관심을 갖는 대상물에 대한 위치 추적과 컨텐츠 정보를 실시간적으로 볼 수 있는 방법을 요구하고 있다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 크리켓(Cricket) 센서 네트워크 기술을 활용한 실내 위치 추적 시스템과 모바일 RFID을 통한 실시간 컨텐츠 전송 시스템을 개발하였으며 그 결과를 기술하였다. 본 논문에서는 프로토타입의 설계 및 구현하는 과정을 통하여 센서네트워크(크리켓)와 RFID 시스템의 연동 방식이 다양한 분야에서 유용하게 사용될 수 있음을 보이고 있다.
