Tension/Movement Control of Working Robot and Dynamic Model of the Stringing Wire Cable (가설 와이어 케이블 동적모델과 작업로봇의 장력/이동 제어)

  • In this paper, an approach to designing controllers for the tension/movement control of working robot to install a stringing wire cable is presented. To design a controller, when the robot moves a certain distance maintaining constant tension, the dynamic model of a stringing wire cable which considers effects of weights according to changing lengths is presented. Also the tension at startup of the working robot is studied by numerical analysis which is based on the equation of the dynamic wire model. From the dynamic model for a stringing wire cable, working robot for tension/movement control is suggested and designed a feedforward controller with a accelerator gain to suppress a mutual interference of the both tasks of tension/movement control. Depending on the operating conditions of the working robot, the effectiveness of the suggested system has been verified by the simulation and experimental results.

  • 현재, 선박용 로프제조에서 로프의 제조 공정은 수작업에 의해 행해지고 있어 작업의 효율화와 품질의 균질화를 위해서 최적의 장력제어가 필요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 와이어 로프 제조공정의 자동화이고 로프의 제조 공정에서 장치는 로프를 릴에 감아 올릴 필요성은 거의 없기 때문에 케이블을 풀어주는 속도와 로드셀에 의해 장력을 검출하고 장력을 발생하는 하드웨어 구성방법을 연구하는 것이다. 본 연구는 현수형 와이어 로프(Catenary Rope)의 동적 모델링을 작성한다. 이 시스템에 대하여 교류서보 전동기를 이용한 장력 발생장치를 모델링한다. 현수형 시스템의 장력 계측 장치는 하중 변환기(load cell)를 사용하고 수학적 모델링을 행한다. 장력 계측 장치에 관해서 스프링 저울을 이용해 출력을 비교 검토한 결과, 인장력을 계측하는 장치로서의 유효성을 확인하였다.

  • 본 연구는 이동하면서 트롤리선 가설하는 작업로봇에서 가선 트롤리선에 대한 장력제어 방법이 제안되었다. 비선형 와이어 모델, AC 전동기를 이용한 장력발생 시스템 및 와이어 장력 방정식 에 기초하여 장력제어 시스템이 로드셀에 의한 장력 검출로 설계되고 실행되었다. 장력응답은 실험에서 만족하게 장력의 조절하는 것으로 보인다. 제안한 장력제어 시스템은 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 그 결과가 유효함을 증명하였다.

  • Vibrational characteristics and tension fluctuation of a translating wire in WEDM are the main problems to deteriorate the cutting accuracy and processing performance. In this paper, we analyze natural frequencies of the wire used in WEDM, both theoretically and experimentally. To reduce the tension variation of the wire, which directly affects cutting performance, we have designed a simply tension reduction device using springs and rollers. It is shown that tension fluctuation is reduced about 35% using the passive tension controller.

  • 본 기술은 와이어로프의 중간 부위와 단부에 코일스프링을 설치하여 하중 작용시 압축으로 저항하게 하는 낙석방지 울타리의 제작ㆍ설치 기술이다. 이는 낙석 발생시 고유진동수가 작고 큰 변형률이 유도되므로 접촉시간이 길어 와이어로프에 발생하는 장력을 감소시키고 충격흡수능력을 향상시켰으며, 압축으로 저항하여 와이어로프가 먼저 파단된 후 스프링이 항복하도록 하여 안전성을 향상시킨 기술이다.(중략)

  • Silver nanowire-based transparent electrodes are very attractive as a next-generation flexible and transparent electrode that can replace ITO-based flexible electrodes because they have excellent conductivity, transmittance and mechanical flexibility. However, weak understanding of the silver nanowire solution for the fabrication of silver nanowire-based transparent electrodes often cause abnormal operation of the electrical device or peeling problem of the electrode films when applied to electronic devices. Here, we studied a Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) adhesion promoter, which is one of the additives for silver nanowire solution, to improve the understanding of silver nanowire solution. In detail, it is characterized how the HPMC changes the properties of silver nanowire solution and silver nanowire film, which is fabricated with silver nanowire solution including the HPMC adhesion promoter. As the characteristics of solution, polar surface tension and dispersive surface tension were measured. As the film characteristics, surface energy, surface morphology, silver nanowire density, and sheet resistance were analyzed.

  • The structures and properties of Cu nanowires have been investigated using molecular dynamics simulations. Cylindrical multi-shell Cu nanowires maintain their structures at room temperature and their structural properties are different from the structural properties of nanowires with face-centered-cubic structure. The results from nanopillar and tensile testing of cylindrical multi-shell Cu nanowire showed structures related to pentagonal needle-like crystal structures. Since the subunits of pentagonal nanowire with needle-like crystal are face-centered-cubic structure, pentagonal multi-shell nanowires are stable one-dimensional structures in nanostructured materials.

  • This paper presents the tension control of a wire-cut discharge machine using electrorheological(E,R) fluid based brake system. On the basis of the tension level required in the machine, an appropriate size of the ER brake which features design simplicity, fast response and salient controllability is designed. Considering the Bingham property of ER fluid and actuator response time, the governing equation of the ER brake is derived. And a tension propagation of wire electrode is modeled via frequency response. The tension control performance of the discharge machine is simulated by using a robust sliding mode controller.

  • From the experimental study of wire-cut Electric Discharge Machining of alloyed tool steel and tungsten carbide, the characteristics such as cutting speed, surface roughness has been observed and evaluated for various conditions. Cutting speed is improved as peak discharge current and wire tension become increased, and gap voltage and spark cycle decreased. Surface roughness can be better when peak discharge current and gap voltage become smaller, or spark cycle and wire tension become larger. Secondary cut is recommended to obtain high precision and good quality.
