Impact of Internal Communication of Organizations on Collaborative Performance and Organizational Effectiveness: focusing on the Moderationg Effect of Online Communication Tools for Collaboration (조직 내부 커뮤니케이션이 협업성과와 조직효과성에 미치는 영향: 온라인 커뮤니케이션 협업도구의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • This study aimed to examine the impact of internal communication(IC) on collaborative performance(CP) and organizational effectiveness(OE), and the moderating effect of online communication tools. First, IE and RS, ISI, RS, and COMN had a significant impact on ISI, Perf, respectively. The all factors of CP affected JS and OC. Second, IE, COMN, and RS influenced OC through CC and Perf. Third, online cooperative tools for collaboration have been moderated between RS and ISI, CoW and CC, IE and Perf, Perf and JS, repectively- IE(Infromation Exchange), CoW(Collaboration Work), Communication(COMN), Relationship(RS), Information Sharing Intention(ISI), CC(Collaboration Culture), Perf(Performance), JS(job satisfactino), and OC(Organization Commiment). These results could provide one implication for the establishment and utilization of online communication collaboration tools that take into account internal communication components within the organization.

  • 2020년 상반기는 코로나19로 촉발된 상황은 온라인 강의 도입 등 교육환경에도 영향을 미치고 있다. 게임제작 관련 교육과정에서 게임제작 프로젝트를 진행할 때 QA는 게임의 개발이 진행되는 단계에 맞춰 리뷰와 테스트 케이스 작성, 테스트 실행, 이슈 보고를 진행한다. QA의 핵심 업무 중 하나가 테스트 케이스를 작성하는 것이다. 이번과 같이 비대면이 강제되는 상황에서 팀원들과 협업을 하기 위해서는 테스트 케이스 관리 도구를 활용하여 효율적으로 QA를 수행하는 방안이 필요하다.

  • Web development and digital technology enable users not only to consume contents but also to produce and share it through using various media. Thus, since personal needs for contents are increased, the interest in environment and technology for creating digital contents is growing. Because of existing digital contents technology such as writing tool or digital storyboard have focused on the individual creation, it is hard to induce participation and collaboration of other users and sharing and reusing contents. Therefore, we suggest a new form of collaborate digital storytelling using the concept of the collective intelligence through contest. Most of all, we develop writing tool and storyboard tool in order to facilitate participants to produce online contents. Also, distinguished from previous contest, this contest considers not only content output but also collaborative process for making it.

  • 각종 온라인 문화가 발달하는 가운데 원거리에서 의사 소통을 가능하게 하는 도구에 관한 관심도 커지게 되었다. 이러한 도구 중에서 2 차원 그림 저작을 지원하는 도구에 기인하여, 본 논문에서는 3 차원 모델을 만들어 내고 조작함으로써 원거리의 사용자와 의사 소통할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. 실시간에 수행되는 시스템의 특성상, 3 차원 모델링은 간편하고 직관적으로 수행될 수 있도록 하며, 병행 수행 제어를 고려하여 구현한다. 본 시스템에서의 모델링은 주어진 primitive를 이용하거나 사전에 제작된 mesh를 불러오는 것으로 수행할 수 있으며, 사용자가 직접 그려주는 간략한 외곽선 스케치를 기반으로 하여 3 차원 모델을 생성할 수도 있다. 본 시스템에서 모델의 생성, 제어 등의 모든 연산은 다양한 병행 수행 제어 전략을 이용하여 실시간에 수행된다.

  • The epidemic of COVID19 caused a big change in design collaboration, which has been conducting using face-to-face interaction. Designers actively used video conferencing and online document tools in situations where face-to-face meetings were difficult, and this gave them an opportunity to experience that non-face-to-face collaboration can be more effective in a specific design process. In this regard, this study attempted to find out which activities during the design process are more compelling in face-to-face collaboration or non-face-to-face collaboration. To do this, three user experience design projects conducted after the COVID19 epidemic were analyzed through a retrospective interview method. As a result, during four design stages, 'Discover, Define, Develop, Deliver', face-to-face collaboration is necessary for the areas that require creative problem solving through active interaction. In contrast, non-face-to-face collaboration is preferred and more effective when designers need their own space and proceed their design work. In addition, the aspects of design tools supporting non-face-to-face collaboration were also illustrated. Findings discovered through this study are expected to contribute to research on the design process later.

  • Overleaf is a cloud-based LaTeX editor, allowing users to easily create and collaborate on documents without the need for separate LaTeX installation or configuration. Thanks to this convenience, users from various fields worldwide are writing, editing, and collaborating on academic papers, reports, and more via web browsers. However, the caching that occurs during the process of converting documents written on Overleaf to PDF format poses risks of exposing sensitive information. This could potentially lead to the exposure of users' work to others, necessitating the implementation of security measures and vigilance to caution against such incidents. This paper delves into an in-depth analysis of Overleaf's security vulnerabilities and proposes various measures to enhance the protection of intellectual property.

  • The mass collaboration, one of the newest solutions for web-related tasks, has been recognized to be an effective tool for the R&D sectors of the corporates, since the key advantages of crowdsourcing is that the industrial challenges can be shared with the public entities to find proper solutions. This research approaches to the possibility of the design adoption with participation thorough the Internet will positively effect to its process. This research tried to look around the current trend of web 2.0 based services which support the Mass Collaboration method and results of paper related to the Crowdsourcing and design integration. Following to the analysis of web research, we meet the conclusion as just a small number of users' opinion has helped designing new product and service. And we compared it to the conventional design process detail functions, less number of websites support it. However, the result of paper research shows optimistic results of collective design activity. Several cases emphasize that participants were very active to support their thoughts, memories and novel design idea, therefore designer and researchers got enormous help from them and it was better than conventional participatory design in some perspective.

  • This can be promoted collaboration environment for the system and the system is very important for competitiveness, it is equipped. If so, could work in collaboration with members of the organization to promote collaboration what factors? Organizational collaboration and cooperation of many people working, or worth pursuing common goals by sharing information and processes to improve labor productivity, defined as collaboration. Factors that promote collaboration are shared visions, the organization's principles and rules that reflect the visions, on-line system developments, and communication methods. First, it embodies the vision shared by the more sympathetic members are active and voluntary participation in the activities of the organization can be achieved. Second, the members are aware of all the rules and principles of a united whole is accepted and leads to good performance. In addition, the ability to share sensitive business activities for self-development and also lead to work to make this a regular activity to create a team that can collaborate to help the environment and the atmosphere. Third, a systematic construction of the online collaboration system is made efficient and rapid task. According to Student team and A corporation we knew that Cloud services and social media, low-cost, high-efficiency services could achieve. The introduction of the latest information technology changes, the members of the organization's systems and active participation can take advantage of continuing education must be made. Fourth, the company to inform people both inside and outside of the organization to communicate actively to change the image of the company activities, the creation of corporate performance is very important to figure. Reflects the latest trend to actively use social media to communicate the effort is needed. For development of systematic collaboration promoting model steps to meet the organizational role. First, the Chief Executive Officer to make a firm and clear vision of the organization members to propagate the faith, empathy gives a sense of belonging should be able to have. Second, middle managers, CEO's vision is to systematically propagate the organizers rules and principles to establish a system would create. Third, general operatives internalize the vision of the company stating that the role of outside companies must adhere. The purpose of this study was well done in collaboration organizations promoting factors for strategic alignment model based on the golden circle and collaboration to understand and reflect the latest trends in information technology tools to take advantage of smart work and business know how student teams through case analysis will derive the success factors. This is the foundation for future empirical studies are expected to be present.

Study on Extraction of Sub-element and Construction of System Model for the Technological Communication Skills (기술적 의사소통능력의 하위요소 추출과 체제모형 구축)

  • The purpose of this study was to extract of Sub-elements of technological communication skills and to construct of a system model. In order to achieve the goal of the study, it was carried out in two steps: (1)Extraction sub-elements and definitions of technological communication skills, (2)Development of a system model of technological communication skills. Obtained conclusions by the process of this research were as follows. First, sub-elements of the technological communication skills were extracted and they were images, sketches, flowcharts, drawings, prototyping, symbols tables graphs and presentations. Second, using the 'technological communication tools' based on the "collaborative activities in online and offline', technological communication skills were defined as communication skills to be raised through the process of 'Idea through the Communication', 'Realization through the Communication', 'Wrap up through the Communication'. Third, technological communication skills were described as the system, in which 'Idea through the Communication(images, sketches, flowcharts)', 'Realization through the Communication(design, prototyping)', 'Wrap up through the Communication(symbol table graph, presentation)' were collaboratively activated. Fourth, checking tool for the technological communication skills was developed, based on checking tool for the existing communication skills and system model for technological communication skills. And it was improved by the expert validity test.

A Study on the Efficiency Measurement Method for the Development Process of Online Content (온라인콘텐츠 개발프로세스의 효율성 측정방법 연구)

  • With the development of online commercializing technology and the growth of online market, it has become extremely important for companies that aim to commercialize their products and services to control time and resources. Even when a single company has control over the entire process, it is necessary to maintain the efficiency among the process of development. In particular, when there is a lot of cooperation throughout the course of development, requiring many parties to communicate with each other, the issue of declining efficiency becomes much clearer. The timing of when to launch a product or service has become just as important as completing and testing them for companies. Companies have developed new tools to prevent situations that may lead to inefficiency in the development process, including an increase in the amount of resource used or issues with security maintenance. However, there is a lack of proper measurement tool that assesses what kind of additional benefits the entire process of the company is bringing, or whether or not the processes need to be improved in certain areas. Thus, this study aims to suggest a method to measure efficiency, to provide an empirical efficiency measurement method for the development process of online content.
