An Analysis of Relationship between Motivation and Satisfaction of Visitors at Cheongnamdae (청남대 방문객 집단별 동기와 만족도 간 관계 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference between local residents and tourist groups in the relationship between the motivation for visiting and the satisfaction of Chung Nam Dae which is the leading tourist attraction in the Chungbuk region. We obtained 200 validated samples each of the local residents in Chungcheongbuk-do Province and the tourists from outside of Chungcheongbuk-do Province with experience of visiting Cheongnamdae through the survey using the questionnaire organized through literature research. The analysis result showed that the relationship between motivation and satisfaction varied depending on the overall sample, local residents, and tourist and that the natural relaxation and convenience had a positive impact on satisfaction in all groups. There was a difference in the influence between motivation and satisfaction between the two groups. Four motivational factors, including natural relaxation, convenience, historicity, and relationship had the significant influence on satisfaction for the local residents while two motivational factors, including natural relaxation and convenience, had the significant influence on satisfaction for the tourists. Based on the results of the study, we presented the theoretical and practical implications and suggested follow-up studies.

Design of Deep Learning-based Tourism Recommendation System Based on Perceived Value and Behavior in Intelligent Cloud Environment (지능형 클라우드 환경에서 지각된 가치 및 행동의도를 적용한 딥러닝 기반의 관광추천시스템 설계)

  • This paper proposes a tourism recommendation system in intelligent cloud environment using information of tourist behavior applied with perceived value. This proposed system applied tourist information and empirical analysis information that reflected the perceptual value of tourists in their behavior to the tourism recommendation system using wide and deep learning technology. This proposal system was applied to the tourism recommendation system by collecting and analyzing various tourist information that can be collected and analyzing the values that tourists were usually aware of and the intentions of people's behavior. It provides empirical information by analyzing and mapping the association of tourism information, perceived value and behavior to tourism platforms in various fields that have been used. In addition, the tourism recommendation system using wide and deep learning technology, which can achieve both memorization and generalization in one model by learning linear model components and neural only components together, and the method of pipeline operation was presented. As a result of applying wide and deep learning model, the recommendation system presented in this paper showed that the app subscription rate on the visiting page of the tourism-related app store increased by 3.9% compared to the control group, and the other 1% group applied a model using only the same variables and only the deep side of the neural network structure, resulting in a 1% increase in subscription rate compared to the model using only the deep side. In addition, by measuring the area (AUC) below the receiver operating characteristic curve for the dataset, offline AUC was also derived that the wide-and-deep learning model was somewhat higher, but more influential in online traffic.

  • Internet system is now essential part of modern human life to get useful information totally by network. Moreover, in terms of travel agency business, the application of electronic commerce system using Internet is extremely important, because that providing and getting proper information is the focus to success in the business. They don't provide enough sub tools like keyboard searching function, sitemap and real-online reservation system. The bulletin board usually has a big role to gather visitors opinion, provide new information and Promotion their company to everyone.

Credibility of e-WOM in Travel Industry, and Its Influence in WOM Effect (온라인 구전 여행정보의 신뢰와 구전효과 연구)

  • Today's wide-spread Internet technology allowed consumers to access much Word-of-Mouth information through an online board. As communication and exchanging information between travelers becomes easier and faster, e-WOM (Electronic Word-of-Mouth) is recognized as one of the most influencing communication methods in today's society. This new trend implies a significant impact to travel industry. This study focuses on interaction between Credibility on e-WOM, brand attitude, WOM acceptance, WOM activity and purchasing intention of travel product. The result of this study suggests: (1) Credibility in e-WOM provides positive effect in brand attitude, (2) Brand Attitude gives positive effect on WOM acceptance, WOM activity and purchasing intention of travel product, (3) WOM acceptance gives positive effect on WOM activity, but it is not effective on purchasing intention of travel product. Regarding e-WOM management of travel agencies through its website or online community, authors would like to argue that travel agencies need to build positive brand attitude based on Credibility in brand, which would lead consumers to positively acknowledge its brand and spread words out to other consumers.

다중 에이전트를 활용한 호텔 온라인 예약의 개념적 모형

  • 최근 인터넷 사용 증가는 물론 그에 따른 인터넷 사이트의 증가가 가히 폭발적이라고 할 수 있다. 전자상거래도 인터넷 사용증가에 힘입어 더욱 증가 추세에 있으며 관광산업 또한 예외는 아니다. 호텔에서도 웹사이트를 구축하여 온라인 예약과 각종 서비스에 필요한 정보를 제공하고 있으며 점차 온라인 예약이 증가추세이다. 하지만 인터넷 웹사이트의 급격한 증가는 풍부하고 다양한 정보를 제공한다는 긍정적인 면과 함께 정보과다(information overload)로 인해 정보 검색 등에 많은 시간과 비용이 요구되는 문제를 낳았다. 위와 같은 환경에서 사용자를 대신하여 원하는 정보를 찾아주는 역할을 수행하는 에이전트(agent)의 개념이 도입되었다. 현재 전자상거래 분야에서 활용 중인 에이전트는 구매자가 직접 판매자와 접촉하여 자신에게 필요한 여러 가지정보를 얻고 필요에 따라서는 협상 등을 진행한 후 최종 거래를 성사시키는 ‘사람과 사람간의 일 대 일 거래 과정’중 일부분만을 지원하고 있는 실정이다. 이와 같은 현존 에이전트의 문제점을 보완하기 위해서 구매자와 판매자를 대표하는 에이전트를 개발하고 이들 에이전트간의 직접적인 정보교환, 가격협상 및 이를 바탕으로 한 의사결정까지의 거래 모델을 수립하는 것이 필요하다고 인식된다. 따라서 본 연구는 인터넷상에서 구매자와 판매자간의 거래를 대행하는 인터넷 다중 에이전트(Internet Multi-Agents)의 개발을 위한 개념적 거래 모델을 연구하고, 이를 호텔 예약 분야에 응용하기 위한 각 에이전트의 필요 조건 및 기능을 제시하고자 한다.

  • A board-game is the genre which is the oldest among various game genres. Reflecting the issues, aspects & trend of the era, It contains social & cultural sources. For family activity, socializing & human networking, It is regarded such a good alternative leisure replacing on-line video game causing negative infection. In this research, for city marketing usage, we develop a specifically designed board-game with the source of historical people, must-see sights & local products. Also educational & commercial purposes are seriously considered.

A study on cultural characteristics of foreign tourists visiting Korea based on text mining of online review (온라인 리뷰의 텍스트 마이닝에 기반한 한국방문 외국인 관광객의 문화적 특성 연구)

  • Purpose The study aims to compare the online review writing behavior of users in China and the United States through text mining on online reviews' text content. In particular, existing studies have verified that there are differences in online reviews between different cultures. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to compare the differences between reviews written by Chinese and American tourists by analyzing text contents of online reviews based on cultural theory. Design/methodology/approach This study collected and analyzed online review data for hotels, targeting Chinese and US tourists who visited Korea. Then, we analyzed review data through text mining like sentiment analysis and topic modeling analysis method based on previous research analysis. Findings The results showed that Chinese tourists gave higher ratings and relatively less negative ratings than American tourists. And American tourists have more negative sentiments and emotions in writing online reviews than Chinese tourists. Also, through the analysis results using topic modeling, it was confirmed that Chinese tourists mentioned more topics about the hotel location, room, and price, while American tourists mentioned more topics about hotel service. American tourists also mention more topics about hotels than Chinese tourists, indicating that American tourists tend to provide more information through online reviews.

Effect of Online Convention Service Quality on Participant's Behavior Intention (온라인 컨벤션 서비스품질이 참가자 행동의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to develop online convention service quality and examine the effect of online convention service quality on re-participation intention in the same convention and other types of online conventions. Based on an extensive literature review, the study chose five main factors of online convention service quality: human service, program service, platform service, platform aesthetics, and interaction. A total of 284 data were collected from online convention participants from July 26 to August 6, 2021. For the hypotheses test, multiple regression analysis was used. As a result, interaction and program service quality had positive effects on re-participation intention in the same convention, but except for platform aesthetic, all factors positively affected re-participation intention in other types of online conventions. This study also found that online service quality factors are more helpful in predicting the intention of re-participation in other types of online conventions rather than re-participation in the same convention. Based on the results, theoretical and practical implications were discussed

Virtual Academic Experience of College Students Due to COVID-19 (대학생의 COVID - 19로 인한 온라인 학업 경험)

  • This study evaluated college students' virtual academic experience due to COVID-19. Based on Colaizzi's analysis method, data from advanced interviews with 15 students were analyzed. The results were as follows. The participants showed a desire for eye-level learning, frustration on unsatisfactory academic factors, gratefulness for the factors that enhance academic satisfaction, lonely fight with the shortcomings of online lectures, and the factors predicted by COVID-19, and aim to seek balance through health care. Based on the results, the students should be prepared to learn at an appropriate academic level. Second, the change should be sought to increase delivery and concentration in class. Third, students are motivated by the professor's efforts to communicate in class and their sincerity and passion. Fourth, cooperation between professors and learners is needed to develop a sympathetic and supportive classroom atmosphere. Fifth, until the cessation of COVID-19, the principle of virtual education should persist unless there are exceptional circumstances. These results, which suggested specific ways to increase satisfaction with virtual learning lectures, can be used as basic data for establishing effective virtual teaching directions.

Analysis on Information Use of Smartphone in the context of Tourists (관광객 대상 스마트폰 사용의 정보이용 분석)

  • Previous research on smartphone has been focused on personal performance, accessibility, and information gaps in information system quality. In order to analyze the relationship between the use of smartphone information and personal characteristics, this study conducted a survey of 300 tourists at Jeju Airport, by using three variables of self-efficacy, 'impulsiveness and demographic variables (age, sex, education level, etc.) of smartphone use with personal characteristics. In conclusion, self-efficacy and impulsiveness seem to be positively related to the use of smartphone because it seems to be a living environment in which the desired information can be acquired within a desired time. In addition, there seems to be a difference between a mobile native environment in which online and offline boundaries are always connected and an environment in which 40 to 50 digital literacies are connected. This can be interpreted as a result of additional analysis.
