DGA characteristics of transformer oil in low temperature range (낮은 온도 영역에서의 변압기 절연유의 유중가스분포특성)

  • 변압기에서 발생하는 유중가스는 고장부위의 온도크기에 따라서 특징가스도 다른 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 변압기 고장온도중에서 낮은 온도영역에 해당되는 $300^{\circ}C$이하의 온도에서 열열화를 실시하여 유중가스분포의 거동을 분석하였다. 유중가스 분석결과 이 온도 영역에서는 절연지가 없는 경우 에탄가스가 특징가스로 나타났고, 절연지가 없는 경우도 일산화탄소와 이산화탄소가스의 농도가 크게 나타났다.

Experimental study on Static Behavior of H-beam prestressed with Multi-Stepwise TPSM (다단계 온도프리스트레싱 도입 강재보의 정적거동평가를 위한 실험적 연구)

  • In this study, static loading tests were performed on H-beam specimens to assess the static behavior of H-beam prestressed with multi-stepwise thermal prestressing method (TPSM). The amount of induced thermal prestress and connection type were differentiated among the 400-mm-high and 6,000-mm-long H-beam specimens to evaluate their effect on the behavior of the beams. From the experimental results, it between the H-beam and the cover-plate increased in yielding load by 13~18%, whereas stiffness increased by 27~34%. In case of specimens with both bolting and welding connection, yie lding load increased by 18~29% and stiffness increased by 43~51%. Multi-stepwise initial stress distribution was also observed from the prestressed specimens, verifying the effectiveness of the multi-stepwise TPSM. By application of the multi-stepwise TPSM, a significant increase in yielding load and stiffness can be achieved, hence increasing sectional and prestressing efficiencies.

  • We had investigated thermal and ignition behaviors of textiles. Decomposition of textiles with temperature was investigated using a DSC and the weight loss according to temperature using a TGA in order to find the thermal hazard of textiles, and the ignition behaviors of textiles according to species and permeation amount of oil. In addition, ignition behaviors of those permeated into oils indicating different iodine value and of those with arid without air in reaction vessel of measuring equipment were studied with constant temperature method among ignition temperature measuring methods. As results, the range of decomposition temperature of synthetic fiber was slightly broad compared with that of natural fiber, pure cotton. Besides, the initiation temperature of heat generation of both samples riced in the case of no air injection in the reaction vessel. On the other hand, in the case of air injection that was lowered according to the increase in permeative amount of oils and fats and decreased quickly as sample was permeated into drying oil.

Phase Behavior of Poly(ethylene-co-vinyl alcohol)-Solvent System at High Pressure (고압에서 폴리(에틸렌/비닐 알코올) 공중합체-용매계의 상거동에 관한 연구)

  • Cloud-point data at $230^{\circ}C$ and 1,800 bar are presented for two poly(ethylene-co-vinyl alcohol)(PEVA) copolymers[9.9mol% and 17.8mol% vinyl alcohol(VA)] in ethylene, propane, propylene, n-butane, 1-butene, dimethyl ether(DME), and chlorodifluromethane(CDFM). The static type experimental apparatus with a view cell has been used for the experiment at the high pressure and temperature. The pressure-temperature (P-T) loops of PEVA(9.9mol% VA) copolymer-DME mixtures are presented at copolymer concentrations of 1.4wt% to 20.0wt%. Also, we presented the phase behavior of PEVA(17.8mol% VA) copolymer-DME system at copolymer concentration of 1.9wt% to 6.8wt%. The cloud-point curves for the PEVA copolymers in dimethyl ether showed single phase above 480 bar as a result of the hydrogen bonding between the vinyl alcohol unit and dimethyl ether. The pressure-concentration(P-x) isotherm loops of PEVA(9.9mol% and 17.8mol% VA)-DME system are obtained. The cloud-point curves for PEVA(9.9mol% and 17.8 mol% VA) copolymers andthe ethylene, propane, propylene, n-butane, 1-butene, and CDFM all show negative slopes of phase behavior and are located at pressures below 1,800 bar. For PEVA copolymer-DME system(9.9mol% VA), cloud-point curves show positive slopes that decrease in pressures with decrease in temperature in the temperature range of $80^{\circ}C$ to $160^{\circ}C$.

  • The present study investigates the influences of vehicle induced loads on the thermal buckling behavior of straight and curved continuous welded rail (CWR) tracks. Quasi-static loads model is assumed to determine the uplift region, which occurs due to the vertical track deflection induced by wheel loads of vehicle. The lateral loads of vehicle induced by weight, the speed, the superelevation and curvature of track, and other dynamic vehicle track interaction, are included in the ratio of lateral to vertical vehicle load. Parametric numerical analyses are perfomed to calculate the upper and lower critical buckling temperatures of CWR tracks, and the comparison between the results of this work and the previous results without vehicle is also included.

  • This analysis evaluated small and large temperature gradient effects on the FRP deck considering lightweight of FRP deck and ply orientations at the interface between steel girders and FRP deck. Finally, the analytical results shows the possible failure mechanism of FRP deck under various temperature changes and its corresponding index is suddenly varied depending on the rapid change of temperature on the deck plate.

Analysis of Stress Relaxation Behaviors of Geosynthetics (지오신세틱스의 응력완화거동 해석)

  • In this study, stress relaxation behaviors of nonwoven geotextile and geomembrane which have protection, filtration and drainage, water barrier functions, respectively were examined. 'Theory of transition phenomen' was applied to interpretate the stress relaxation behaviors of two geosynthetics. The initial and later relaxation times for stress relaxation behaviors of geosynthetics were derived from the constitutive equations. The initial relaxation behaviors of these geosynthetics were dependent on the additional strains and were especially faster with temperature. Finally, both relaxation times of geosynthetics were shorter with additional strain and temperature and the reduction of relaxation times of nonwoven geotextile were larger than those of geomembrane.

  • 평판형의 열가소성 수지를 유리전이온도 이상으로 가열한 다음 압력을 가함으로써 원하는 형상의 제품을 성형하는 열성형공정은 대상 수지가 큰 변형을 일으킬 뿐만 아니라 비선형적 거동을 보이게 된다. 따라서 수지의 변형거동 예측과 최적성형조건의 설정에 많은 어려움과 시행착오를 거치게 되는 바, 열성형 공정의 최적화를 위한 연구의 일환으로 원형 평판위 수지를 대상으로 수지의 부풀림 거동과 이에 따른 두께 분포를 예측할수 있는유한요 소법의 수치모사 알고리듬을 개발하고자 하였다. Piola-Kirchhoff 응력 텐서와 Green 변형 텐서 및 lagrangian 변형 텐서를 사용하여 평판상의 응력-변형에 대한 비선형의 에너지 수 지식을 수립하고 Newton-Raphson 반복수렴법을 이용하여 근사적으로 해석하였으며 수지의 유변학적 구성방정식으로는 neo-Hookean 모델, Mooney-Rivlin 모델 및 Ogden 모델등의 초탄성 모델을 사용하여 그결과를 비교하였다. 수치모사에는 두께가 매우 얇기 때문에 두께 방향의 응력변화를 무시할수 있는 membrane 가정을 도입한 2차원적 해석과 두께 방향의 응력 변화를 고려하는 3차원적 해석을 모두 수행하고 그 차이를 비교하였으며 3차원적 해석 의 경우에는 penalty법을 이용하여 비 압축성을 만족하였다. 일차적으로 내압을 받는 두꺼 운 원통계에 대한 수치모사 해석을 수행하고 완전해와 비교함으로써 개발된 수치모사 알고 리듬의 열성형 공정에의 적용 타당성을 검증하였으며 이를 이용하여 원형 평판의 자유부풀 림거동을 예측한 결과 Treloar 등의 실험결과와 잘 부합함을 확인하였다. 또 간단한 형상의 금형이 있는 경우와 반지름 방향으로의 온도변화에 따른 수지의 변형거동을 해석함으로써 실제 열성형 공정에서 요구되고 있는 성형품의 두께 분포를 균일하게 하기 위한 방안을 제 시하였다.
