  • Due to the problem of matching between virtual world space and real-world space, the reality of augmented reality content is rather low. There are many reasons for this result, firstly virtual object is rendered without considering relation between real-world space and virtual world space. Secondly, virtual objects rely too much on the marker to reduce reality. We propose two schemes to improve the reality of augmented reality, one is people occlusion, the other is to reduce the dependence of virtual objects on the marker.

  • The main object of this study was to find a way to operate the marker for simulating a virtual construction using a MR(mixed reality) device. The secondary object was to find a way to extract the form-data from BIM data, and to represent the virtual object by the MR device. A tiny error of scale causes large errors of length because the architectural objects are very large. The scale was affected by the way that the camera of the MR device recognizes the marker. The method of installing and operating the marker causes length errors in the virtual object in the MR system. The experimental results showed that the error factor of the Virtual object's length was 0.47%. In addition, the distance between the markers can be decided through the results of an experiment for the multi-marker tracking system. The minimum distance between markers should be more than 5 m, and the error of length was approximately 23mm. If the represented virtual object must be less than 20mm in error, the particular mark should be installed within a 5 m radius of it. Based on this research, it is expected that utilization of the MR device will increase for the application of virtual construction simulations to construction sites.

  • Virtual Reality technology is divided two parts Panorama technology to imbody VR on space and Object technology to embody VR of things. About Object VR technology until present, they provided a cube access way, then observer can see object up, down, left, right side and zoom-in, zoom-out, but there is a fact that up-and-down expression is distorted or shows shortcoming that is not expressed by limited situation of manufacture way in Panorama VR's expression. Therefore, in this research, we examine the shortcoming that do not become top-and-bottom expression through basic concept of Panorama and Panorama VR manufacture process and do to propose cube type of new data format that permit up-and-down expression as a real world and compose Panorama VR space.

  • In this study, motion simulation of Walk-through was evaluated with HMD(Head Mounted Display). More Specifically, we examined the changes of the degree of object density placed around virtual space on psychological moving distance, moving speed, and moving time. The results were as follows. First, the difference between the experimental conditions(low density, Medium density, High density) was significant. Second, as the density of the surrounding objects increased, the average point of moving time, moving speed, and moving distance rose compared to the basic conditions. Third, it was found that the surrounding objects improved the sense of time, speed and distance in motion simulation in virtual space.

  • Cyber shopping mall is based on technique of the Internet that is purpose in a new business form from cyber space. Cyber shopping mall's economic activity will be much grow up and upswing compare than past object economy. Therefore we proposed the interactive Internet shopping mail system. Especially, the proposed shopping mali is 3D interaction Cyber Shopping mall based on 'Rich media Technique' and it different with existing shopping mall. This system is represent to Hyper view when the customer click the object what they want to buy during cyber space tour. This system can be Move, Rotate, Zoom in, Zoom out and Play the object. This system can increase customer's feeling more interesting, immersion, etc. And 3D objects look like a real thing get out of the conventional 2D image form is great contribute to increase customer's interest.

  • Recently, the application fields of augmented reality(AR) are rapidly increasing, and related contents are also increasing in demand. In this way, object-based marker recognition is required for service of AR contents in mobile environment. At this time, in order to provide information corresponding to the marker, a technique of generating and servicing a virtual object corresponding to a specific marker is used. However, when a virtual object corresponding to a marker is held on the AR screen, a phenomenon occurs that an object of the marker unstably shakes due to various reasons such as camera shake and camera movement. As described above, the AR service based on the mobile device has a problem that it is difficult to represent objects stably. In this paper, we propose a stable marker recognition and tracking technique by applying the filtering technique according to the physical state change of the device when recognizing fixed markers in mobile AR environment.

  • The effects of two different types of haptic feedback(one-hand versus two-hand haptic feedback) on interactivity and body ownership were investigated in the virtual reality setting through an experiment. Using within-subject design, participants performed the task of hitting and destroying a ball-shaped object in virtual reality for both, one-hand and two-hand haptic feedback conditions. The results showed that participants tended to report a higher level of interactivity when using two-hand haptic feedback, whereas there was no difference between the two conditions in a sense of body ownership.
