키틴은 N-acethyl-D-glucosamine이 $\beta$-(1$\longrightarrow$4) 결합한 천연 고분자이며, 게나 새우 등의 갑각류, 오징어 등의 연체류, 그리고 곤충류 및 균류의 세포벽 등에 광범위하게 분포되어 있다. 키틴은 지구상에 존재하는 천연 다당류 중에 셀룰로오스 다음으로 많은 양이 존재하며 흡착성, 보습성, 유화성 및 생분해성을 가진 무독성 물질이고 항균작용, 생체적합성 등 다양한 특성을 기능을 가진다. 그러나, 분자내에 존재하는 아세트아미노기가 분자간의 수소결합으로 매우 강하게 결합되어 있기 때문에 화학약품에 대한 내성이 강할 뿐만 아니라 물과 대부분의 일반 유기용매에 녹지 않기 때문에 그 용도가 한정되어 있다. The incidence of skin cancer has continuously increased in Korea, probably due to sun exposure and increases in the aging population. Ultraviolet light, a well-known risk factor for skin cancer, can cause DNA damage, mutation, and immune suppression, followed by abnormal proliferation. To prevent photocarcinogenesis, the appropriate use of sunscreen should be emphasized. Using broad-spectrum sunscreens with sun protection factor values of 15 or higher and frequent reapplication are recommended. Controversy exists about whether vitamin D synthesis is inhibited by the use of sunscreen. However, considering that skin cancer most commonly develops on the head and neck area, applying it to the face and neck is reasonable in terms of balancing the risk-benefit ratio.

Melanoma is originated from the melanocyte producing the melanin which determines the complexion, and it has the highest mortality among skin cancers. Acral lentiginous melanoma(ALM) arises from extremities such as hands, feet or fingernails. Since the appearance of ALM is different from melanoma on the body, conventional auto diagnosis systems for melanoma is inappropriate to detect ALM. Therefore, ALM is typically difficult to distinguish from general nevus, resulting in delayed diagnosis and bad prognosis. In this paper, we firstly introduce a determination method for ALM by dermatologists and propose a method to rotate dermoscopic images automatically as a pre-processing for facilitating the easy determination of ALM and to select the optimal value of the Gaussian differentiation filter parameter which is significant for precise pattern extraction using the scale space analysis. From experimental results, it is shown that there exists the consistency between empirical values of the Gaussian differential filter parameter and optimal values derived from the scale space analysis to distinguish nevus and ALM.

Recent evolution of communication networks has led toward increasingly a complex, large-scale protocol. Protocol conformance tests therefore, which consider only control flow, have many problems on testing data flow, transition condition, delay and so on. We propose, design, and implement the tool to solve these problems. The tool, which solves nondeterminism, generates test suites from an integrated flow graph and excludes infeasible path with reachable tree. The presented tool reduces the length of UIO sequence and is efficient partially to test the path that error rate is high. Our automatic test suite generator provides basis of protocol testing environment and high production.
