Comparison Analysis of MR Images Before and After External Beam Radiotherapy in Brachytherapy (근접치료 시 외부 방사선 치료 전후의 MR 영상 비교분석)

  • Purpose: To analyze availability of MR images before and after external beam radiotherapy in brachytherapy, we will acquire MR images before and after external beam radiotherapy and compare the change of direction of uterine cavity and analyze the accuracy of applicator insertion. Materials and Methods: From January 2009 to December 2010, we compared MR images before and after external beam radiotherapy for uterine cervical cancer only with radical purpose treatment. MR images which was acquired after external beam radiotherapy has done with inserted status of CT/MR applicator. Results: As a consequence, the tumor was markedly reduced after external beam radiotherapy. The change of anteflexion of uterus turned into retroflexion of the uterine cavity was 17.1%. The case of wrong insertion of tandem include direction or length was 14.3%. Conclusion: According to MR images taken after external beam radiotherapy, we recognized not only reduced the tumor volume but the marked change of exact direction or length of the uterine cavity. So the confirmation of accurate insertion based on MR images before brachytherapy could be very helpful for optimal brachytherapy treatment planning with reduced applicator insertion errors.

  • 본 논문에서는 인터넷이나 Ethernet에서 MPEG-2 비디오를 전송할 때 발생하는 오류를 보상하기 위한 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 오류는 발생 크기에 따라 비트 오류, 패킷 손실, 버스트 손실 등으로 나눌 수 있다. 그리고 상태에 따라 시간적인 것과 공간적인 것으로 구분된다. 본 연구에서는 특히 송수신 통신망 속도의 불일치 환경, 즉, 고속 송신 대 저속 수신, 저속 송신 대 고속 수신의 경우에 비디오 패킷 손실, 패킷 삽입, 패킷 삭제에 관한 방법을 제시한다. 이와 같은 경우는 인코더와 디코더가 서로 다른 성능을 가지는 경우에도 발생한다. 즉, 첫째, 인코더는 실시간 압축, 디코더는 저속 재생, 둘째, 인코퍼는 저속 압축, 디코더는 실시간 재생인 상황에서도 적용된다. 인터넷과 같은 전 세계적인 규모의 영상회의, 영상전화 시스템에서는 망과 송수신 시스템이 매우 다양하므로 이런 경우는 실제로 매우 빈번히 발생하며, 이에 대한 해결은 원활한 영상통신을 위해서 필수적이다.

Test Data Selection Technique to Detect Interaction Faults in Embedded System (내장형 시스템의 상호작용 오류 감지를 위한 테스트 데이타 선정 기법)

  • As an Embedded system combining hardware and software gets more complicated, the importance of the embedded software test increases. Especially, it is mandatory to test the embedded software in the system which has high safety level. In embedded system, it is necessary to develop a test technique to detect faults in interaction between hardware and software. In this paper, we propose a test data selection technique using a fault injection technique for the faults in interaction between hardware and software in embedded system and we apply our technique to the Digital Plant Protection System and analyze effectiveness of the proposed technique through experiments.

  • An application in Component-Based Software Development (CBSD) is built by 'composing'two kinds of components; One is a component that is made by current developer himself, and the other is a component that is from other developments. We define the former as a 'White-box component' and the latter as a 'Black-box component.' The error from the composition can be said to be caused by interactions of Black-box components and White-box components. This paper proposes a new testing technique for composition errors, and applies the technique to Enterprise Java Beans component architecture. Our technique selects test cases by injecting a fault only into the specific parts of a White-box component. This specific parts for injecting a fault are selected by analyzing composition patterns, and lead to make our test cases have a good effectiveness. We show the effectiveness of our test cases through an experiment. Moreover, we also mention an automation tool for our technique.

  • 웹 플렛폼이 계속해서 발전하고 기술이 고도화 됨에 따라 이를 사용하기 위한 다양한 지원 기술과 프레임워크가 제안되고 있다. 그 중 최근 가장 관심이 집중되고 있는 브라우저 기반의 웹 어플리케이션 기법이 AJAX(Asynchronous JavaScript and XML)이다. AJAX를 구현하는 데에는 JavaScript가 중요한 기술적 요소라 하겠다. 본 논문에서는 사용 규모와 기능의 확대가 예상되는 JavaScript의 시험을 위한 도구를 개념적으로 제안했다. 기존에 제안된 도구나 수동적인 시험은 HTML에 시험을 위한 JavaScript를 삽입하여 브라우저를 통한 시험이 위주였다. 브라우저를 통한 방법은 스크립트를 삽입한 후 HTML을 불러와야 한다는 번거로움이 있고 시험을 위해 삽입된 JavaScript를 제거하는 과정에서 다른 오류가 유입될 수도 있다. 또한 브라우저에서 보여주는 결과만으로는 시험의 확인이 어렵다. 이에 본 논문은 AJAX 환경에서 더욱 사용이 확대되고 있는 자바스크립트를 시험하기 위한 자동 시험 도구 시스템을 제안한다.

  • 자동 띄어쓰기는 띄어쓰기가 되어있지 않은 문장에 대하여 띄어쓰기를 해주거나, 문장에 있는 잘못된 띄어쓰기를 교정하는 것을 말한다. 기존의 자동 띄어쓰기 연구는 주로 모든 음절을 붙인 후 새로 띄어쓰기 태그를 입력하는 방법을 사용하여 사용자가 입력한 올바른 띄어쓰기 정보를 활용하지 못하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 모두 붙여 쓴 문장에 공백을 넣어주는 띄어쓰기 삽입 모델과 사용자의 입력 정보를 이용하여 문장의 띄어쓰기 오류를 교정해주는 오류교정 모델이 결합된 통합모델을 제안한다. 제안된 모델은 에러율 10%일 때 F1-score가 98.85%까지 향상되었다.

  • This paper proposes multiple burst error detection and correction scheme for transmission of Huffman coded string. We use bidirectionally decodable codes and introduce insertion of forbidden symbol to find errors. Additional bits are added to original bit streams to correct errors. The total file size id increased but it can detect errors and recover errors real time.

Comparison of Reading, Writing Fluency of the Underachieving Children and Stuttering Children and School-Aged Children (학령기 말더듬아동의 읽기유창성 및 쓰기유창성 비교연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of reading, writing fluency of the underachieving children and stuttering children and school-aged children and frequency of errors. The participants were 15 underachieving children and 15 stuttering children and 15 school-aged children without disabilities. All participants were required to conduct reading, writing, speaking tasks. First, work for the reading tasks were different among the underachieving children and stuttering children and school-aged children. Second, writing tasks were not different among the groups in the writing fluency, but it was lacking in accuracy, which is stuttering, speaking fluency as well as their language fluency is suggesting the need for diagnosis and intervention. Third, this type of errors of writing tasks is showed higher levels of ommission, substitution, grammatical errors in the underachieving children group. The therapy of reading of stuttering also consider a treatment program that can be configured in the combined writing tasks.

  • A implanted sensor's error probability is more likely to external sensor's error probability by biological characteristic in WBAN. In this paper, we present method that external sensor transmits frame instead of doing implanted sensor's retransmission for improving lifetime of implanted sensors in WBAN. The proposed method, LI(Lifetime Increment) protocol is to add external sensor's id in transmission data frame of a implanted sensor. When the retransmission is required, external sensor that have to registered id in data frame retransmits frame instead of implanted sensors' retransmission. The comparison result shows that the proposed protocol reduces power consumption and improves life time.

Effect Analysis of Guard Band and Quantization Level on BER Performance in OBP Satellite Systems (OBP 위성 시스템에서 보호 대역과 양자화 레벨이 BER 성능에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • MCDD performs demultiplexing and demodulation of multi-carrier signals for signal processing schemes such as switching, channel encoding and remodulation in an OBP satellite. During the demultiplexing procedure, several factors such as frequency offset and/or quantization error degrade BER performance. Hence, influences of those factors should be reduced. A influence of the frequency offset can be reduced by inserting guard band between channels, and that of quantization error can be decreased by quantization level control. In case that the data rate of system is not limited, the guard band and the quantization level do not affect each other. In the other case, however, mutual influence between them should be considered. In this paper, we observe the mutual influence when the data rate of the MCDD is limited, and analyze the BER performance.
