The mobile phone has now evolved into an effective multimedia devices to watch video content with your PC in addition to the calling features. Thus, the effectiveness of the video content streaming services smartphone will be available. And content should be able to deliver effectively. Be provided with textbook images and video of the speaker means that the effective content delivery. In this paper, we propose a integrated video management system that can be real-time VOD services on the Internet as input Multi-Source of audio-video, video content encoding system to meet the requirements of the above two.

Considerably many numbers of studies on country-of-origin(hereafter COO) effects have been presented in international business and marketing areas. Recent studies have been included the effects of COO of manufacture, parts, and design, as well as the effects of brand origin, reflected by the accelerating convergent manufacture circumstances and increasingly competitive environments. Moderating constructs such as knowledge of product category and involvement as individual variables, have been also introduced and researched in various angles. In addition, how the effects of COO occur as processes is also argued in previous studies. This research has attempted to explain business corporation's strategic decisions on choosing a domain of its product manufacturing for several critical reasons, for cost reduction or better image. We displayed two constructs of brand and manufacture in a positive and negative country image group to reconfirm the existence of the effects of COO. Additionally, the effects of respondents' regulatory fit between their motivational focus and the contents of product messages, have been declared. Furthermore the respondents' motivational focus moderates the main effect of COO on product evaluations in a positive 'made-in' combination, while, surprisingly, it does not statistically moderate in a negative, except attitude. Based on the results, implications and suggestions on how to plan and execute more effective marketing strategies regarding COO dimensions, especially COO of manufacture, are separately presented for each situations when it has already been determined and when it is to be.

청각장애인이 PC환경에서 영화, 방송, 애니메이션 등의 동영상 콘텐츠를 이용할 때 장애의 정도에 따라 콘텐츠의 접근성에 있어서 시각적 수용 이외의 부분적 장애가 발생한다. 이러한 장애의 극복을 위해 수화 애니메이션이나 독화 교육과 같은 청각장애인의 정보 접근성 향상을 위한 콘텐츠와 기술이 개발된 사례가 있었으나 다소 한계점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 현대 뉴미디어 예술 작품의 예술적 표현 방법을 구성요소로서 추출하여, 기술과 감성의 조화가 어우러진 독창적인 콘텐츠를 생산할 수 있는 기술을 개발함으로써 PC환경에서 청각장애인의 동영상 콘텐츠에 대한 접근성 향상 방법을 추출하고, 실질적으로 청각적 효과의 시각적 변환 인터페이스 개발 및 이미지 캡션 생성 소프트웨어 개발을 통해 청각장애인의 동영상 콘텐츠 사용성을 극대화시킬 수 있는 방법론을 제시하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 첫째, 청각장애인의 동영상 콘텐츠 접근성 분석, 둘째, 미디어아트 작품의 선별적 분석 및 유동요소 추출, 셋째, 인터페이스 및 콘텐츠 제작의 순서로 단계별 방법론을 제시하고 있다. 이 세번 째 단계에서 이미지 캡션 생성 소프트웨어가 개발되고, 비트맵 아이콘 형태의 이미지 캡션 콘텐츠가 생성된다. 개발한 이미지 캡션 생성 소프트웨어는 사용성에 입각한 일상의 언어적 요소와 예술 작품으로부터 추출한 청각 요소의 시각적요소로의 전환을 위한 인터페이스인 것이다. 이러한 기술의 개발은 기술적 측면으로는 청각장애인의 다양한 웹콘텐츠 접근 장애를 개선하는 독창적인 인터페이스 추출 환경을 확립하여 응용영역을 확대하고, 공학적으로 단언된 기술 영역을 콘텐츠 개발 기술이라는 새로운 영역으로 확장함으로써 간학제적 시도를 통한 기술영역을 유기적으로 확대하며, 문자와 오디오를 이미지와 시각적 효과로 전환하여 다각적인 미디어의 교차 활용 방안을 제시하여 콘텐츠를 형상화시키는 기술을 활성화 시키는 효과를 거둘 수 있다. 또한 청각장애인의 접근성 개선이라는 한정된 영역을 뛰어넘어 국가간 언어적인 장벽을 초월할 수 있는 다각적인 부가 동영상 콘텐츠에 대한 시도, 접근, 생산을 통해 글로벌 시대에 부응하는 새로운 방법론으로 발전 할 수 있다.

This paper presents a new sound source externalization algorithm for increasing spaciousness and presence on earphone or headphone environments. To do this, we used modified head related transfer functions (M-HRTFs) and room impulse responses acquired by an acoustic simulation method. M-HRTFs developed by ETRI have less tone color distortion of original sound sources than traditional HRTFs. The acoustic simulation method is used to obtain more natural reflected sound. To verify the proposed externalization algorithm, we performed a listening test. From the test, the proposed algorithm is effective in externalizing the sound sources especially when they are on the left and right sides.

Recently, as the market for SMART TV expands, the camera is embedded for providing various user experience. However, this leads to occurrence of camera failure due to TV power up sequence problem, which are usually not detectable in conventional test equipments. Although the failure-detection can be possible by re-generating control signals for audio interface with new equipment, it is expensive and also requires much time to test. In this paper, for SMART TV, FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)-based failure-detection system is proposed which can lead to reduction of both cost and time for test.

This paper proposes a DVS method which effectively reduces the power consumption of multimedia signal processor. Analytic derivations of effective range of its power saving factor are obtained with the assumption of a Gaussian distribution for the frame-based computational burden of the multimedia processor. A closed form equation of the power saving factor is derived in terms of the mean-standard deviation of the distribution. An MPEG-2 video decoder algorithm and AAC encoder algorithm are tested on ARM9 RISC processor for the experimental verification of the power saying of the proposed DVS approach. The experimental results with diverse MPEG-2 video and audio files show 50～30% power saving factor and show good agreement with those of the analytically derived values.

Service platform which can offer various multimedia communication as the video, audio, voice and data is IMS(IP Multi-Media Subsystem). It is effective in the company is introducing only such convergence IMS services to be required to provide various multimedia services at the lowest cost and existing communication environment while keeping the maximum Therefore, in this study, we had developed IMS 코어 main system that not more than 1,000 employees of companies can effectively establish IMS solutions. This system is located at the middle between IMS terminal and CSCF(Call Session Control Function) in line with IMS services and provides CSCF in response to the IMS terminal and IMS terminal in response to the CSCF. As well, corded telephone and SIP phone which were used as terminal is linked with gateway.

디지털 방송기술의 비약적인 발전으로 기존 HD(High Definition) 화질의 4~16배까지 지원 가능한 UHD(Ultra High Definition) 방송 서비스가 제공되는 새로운 시대를 맞이하게 되었다. UHD 방송은 초고선명 비디오와 22.2 채널 오디오 서비스가 가능한 차세대 실감방송 기술이다. 이러한 UHD 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 고압축 영상 코덱 기술인 HEVC(High Efficiency Video Coding), OFDM(Othogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) 기반 대용량 전송기술과 다양한 멀티미디어 부가서비스 가능한 전송 프로토콜이 필수적으로 요구된다. 최근 UHD 방송 전송 프로토콜로 표준화 추진 중인 MMT(MPEG Media Transport)는 이기종망에서 적용할 수 있으며, 양방향 전환이 가능하여 시청자의 요구사항을 실시간으로 반영할 수 있다는 장점을 지닌다. 한편, 지상파 UHD 방송 서비스를 빠르고 효과적으로 수신하기 위해 필요한 정보인 NIT(Network Information Table), RRT(Rating Region Table) 및 SDT(Service Description Table)가 MMT 시그널링 프로토콜에서는 포함되어 있지 않다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 지상파 UHD 방송 서비스의 효과적 수신이 가능한 MMT 기반 지상파 UHD 방송을 위해 NIT, RRT 및 SDT 정보가 포함된 서비스 시그널링 구조을 제안한다.

본 논문에서 구현한 경량단말을 활용한 이종 박물관 관람 환경별 최적의 적응적 관광 서비스 제공 모듈은 서로 다른 박물관을 관람하는 상황에 맞춰 그 관람객에게 가장 적합한 서비스를 제공을 해주는 모듈이다. 종래의 박물관 관람 형태는 사용자가 박물관에서 나누어준 하드카피 형태의 팜플렛 또는 가이드 안내에만 의존한 관람 형태이고, 주제별 아이템에 관한 상세 정보도 현장에 배치된 안내물을 보던가, 박물관에서 대여형태로 제공하는 오디오 장비만을 활용 하는 수준이며, 특히나 제한된 시간내에 대형 박물관을 관람해야 하는 경우 자신이 관심있는 것만 볼 수 없는 환경이다. 본 논문에서 소개될 이 모듈은 가상화 기술과 경량 단말을 활용하여 대형 박물관 또는 미술관등을 방문한 관람객에게 본인에게 맞는 최적의 관람 서비스를 제공한다. 좀더 자세하게는 대형 박물관에서 이 모듈이 사용되는 경우 넓은 공간에 무수히 많은 작품들이 전시되어 있는 상황에서 가용한 관광시간에 본인이 보고자 하는 것들만 추천받아볼 수 있도록 도와줄 수 있고, 최소한의 원가를 들여서 제작된 경량 스마트 단말을 통하여 해당 작품에 대해 상세한 부가 정보를 제공받아 박물관의 관람효과를 극대화 할 수 있도록 도와준다.
