This study aims to design an exemplification task to facilitate the students' creative thinking, and to investigate mathematical creativity which emerges from exemplification. In particular, we aim to identify the ways to design exemplification tasks which encourage creative thinking, and characterize mathematical creativity fostered by exemplification. The findings showed that the students' creative thinking related to fluency, flexibility, elaboration, and originality emerged through exemplification.

The purpose of this study was to investigate whether a songwriting intervention would improve self-expression of adolescents with cochlear implants (CI). In this study, the songwriting intervention was designed to incorporate previous research findings on music perception of individuals with CIs and to provide musical experiences in which adolescents with CIs could be successful in using music resources for their self-expression. Accordingly, stepwise songwriting procedures were constructed and music technology (i.e., GarageBand as an iPad application) was used. Two adolescents with CIs participated in the intervention once a week for 8 weeks. Changes in level of participation in songwriting tasks, verbal expression, self-reports about the songwriting process were examined. The results demonstrated that the participants showed increased attempts to express themselves via music making. It was also shown that their negative perception of their ability to verbally express themselves decreased. They were observed as becoming more competent in creating music by deciding how various musical elements should be played and making rhythm or melodic patterns by themselves. These results indicate that the songwriting intervention can facilitate self-expression of adolescents with CIs. Further implications in terms of the psychosocial needs of individuals with CIs are presented.

The purpose of this study is to suggest an effective plan for teaching the definition of prism by integrating and analyzing the theories related to the instruction of definitions. The subjects in this study to realize these objectives were as follows. First, it looks to theoretical backgrounds regarding the instruction of the definition of solid by functions of definition in mathematics education. Second, it explores the instructional way to form the definition of solid through function of definition, by analyzing the unit of solid in the 6th grade. Third, after conducting the real practice with the 5th graders who before learn solid in 6th curriculum, according to plan of instruction, it examined student's response and testify its effectiveness, and then propose a teaching scheme which is designed to be useful based on the outcomes. In terms of theoretical background, it investigated the precedent research in relation to the instruction of the definition that mathematical definition is not given perfectly but the process of making knowledge that mathematization activity is necessary. It investigated the effects of the instruction of definitions, based on the effects of teaching and interviews with the 5th graders, and analysis of student's handout. The followings were the results of this study. First, 'Making Definitions' activities through remove counterexample process was possible to analytic thinking not intuitively thinking, and it effects the extend of awareness in definition that definition is not fixed but various. Second, it need the step of organize terms that is useful on solid's definition through activate of background knowledge. Third, it is effective that explore characters of the solids after construct the solids. Fourth, interactive discussion that students correct their mistakes each other through mathematical communication and they can think developmental is useful on making definition more than individual study.

역설계란 제품에서부터 역으로 그것의 수학적인 형상을 얻는 기법이다. 생산현장과 설계분야에서 역설계의 응용사례는 많다. 예를 들면 자동차 외형설계자는 자유곡면(free form)을 만들고, 이것 에서 역으로 스템핑 다이(stamping die)를 가공한다. 물론 외형 설계자는 자유곡면을 생성하기 위해 스틸이나 커크사이트(kirtsite)보다는 원하는 형상을 만들기 쉬운 진흙을 사용한다. 생산부 서에서는 가공물의 설계도가 분실되거나 훼손되어 완성된 제품에서 도면이 복사되어야 할 경우가 생기게 된다. 역설계는 복제가 요구되는 어떤 형상도 적용이 가능하다. 응용대상은 특히 완구, 인조팔, 스템핑다이, 폼 블록(from block), 욕조기, 가구, 일상용품 등이며 적용대상은 광범위하다. 역설계는 설계자가 습득해야 할 필요기술이고, 현재의 CAD/CAM 적용영역을 새로운 세계로 확대시킬 것이다.

It is not an easy matter to develop problems which help students understand mathematical concepts correctly and precisely. The aim of this paper is to review the merits and demerits of three problem types (i.e. one answer problems, multiple choice problems and proof problems) and to suggest some points that should be taken into consideration in problem making. First, we presented the merits and demerits of three types of problems by examining actual examples. Second, we discussed some examples of misleading problems and the ways to make desirable ones. Finally, on the basis of our examination and discussion, we suggested some points that should be kept in mind in problem making. The major suggestions are as follows; i) In making one answer problems, we should consider the possibility of sitting a solution by wrong precesses, ii) In formulating multiple choice tests which are layered for their easiness of grading, we should take into account the importance of checking whether the students are fully understanding the concepts, iii) We may depend on the previous research result that multiple choice tests for proof problems can be helpful for the students who have insufficient math background. Besides those suggestions, we made an overall proposal that we should endeavor to find ways to implement the demerits of each problem type and to develop instructive problems that can help students understanding of math.

전극 막 접합체를 만드는 방법 중 연속식 공정으로서의 데칼법의 장점은 제조공정의 단순화와 두께 균일성 그리고 대량생산 등을 그 예로 들 수 있다. 본 실험에서는 코터를 이용해 전극 막 접합체를 만들기 위해 높은 점도의 촉매 슬러리를 제조하였다. Johnson Mattey 사의 HiSPEC 40 wt% Pt/C 촉매와 Dupont사의 20 wt% Nafion Solution 그리고 물을 이용하여 촉매 슬러리를 제조한 후 코터를 이용하여 데칼법으로 전극 막 접합체를 제조하였다. 완성된 전극 막 접합체의 성능 평가를 실시하였으며 상용화된 전극 막 접합체와 그 특성을 비교 분석을 실시해보았다.

향수나 음악과 같은 감성적 매체는 자신의 개성을 드러내는 좋은 수단이 된다. 그러나 이들은 그것을 사용하는 사용자와 1:1로 대응하지는 못한다. 예를 들어 내가 사용하는 휴대폰 컬러링은 다른 사람도 사용할 수 있다. 그러나 '이름'이나 '생일'과 같은 개인 정보를 이용하여 음악을 만든다면 그것은 자신만의 음악이 되고, 한 개인을 표현할 수 있는 수단이 된다. 이 논문은 '이름'과 같은 개인 정보를 음악으로 만드는 방법에 대한 연구이다. 정보를 음악으로 바꾸는 매개체로는 '한글'의 문자 체계를 이용하였다. 한글은 초성, 중성, 종성의 구분이 명확하고, '천,지,인(天,地,人)'을 바탕으로 만든 모음만으로도 3가지 적용방법을 이끌어 낼 수 있기 때문에, 자모의 구분 정도만 있는 다른 문자에 비해 정보 표현력 면에서 우월하다고 볼 수 있다. 정보에서 음악으로 단순히 '변환'하기 위해서는, 한글이 갖고 있는 여러 특징을 음악에 필요한 요소로 대치시켰고, 이를 음악적으로 완성도 있게 만들기 위해서는, 변환하는 규칙을 '화성법'에 근거하여 적용하였다. 이 방법으로 사용자가 '원하는 음악'을 만들지는 못하겠지만, identity를 표현하는 수단으로는 충분한 역할을 할 수 있을 것이다.

In order to make a quiet zone, one can consider methods to generate a secondary sound field that cancels a primary sound field. Active noise control (ANC) is one of the kinds. This paper mainly deals with the issues on determining the optimal positions of control sources and sensors for making a desired quiet zone. The issues address the reason why the positions are important, how the positions are optimized, and what the measure on the optimal positions is in an uncertain sound field. It is also shown that a power control is applicable to a specific uncertain sound field. In addition, this paper shows that a control material method, which passively changes a boundary condition, is essentially found to be on the same road of ANC.

탄소 섬유란 높은 강도, 높은 탄성률 등을 갖고 잇는 소재로서, 복합 재료에 이용되고 있다. 최근에는 스포츠 용품에 대해서도 장식성이 필요한 시대가 되어서 탄소 섬유도 착색할 필요가 있게 되었다. 일반 의류용 섬유를 염색할 때 염료가 섬유를 구성하는 분자에 단분자상으로 흡착한다. 섬유란 사실상 투명하기 때문에 빛이 섬유 내부에 흡착된 염료까지 도달하고, 염료는 빛을 흡수하여 발색한다. 그러나 탄소 섬유의 색은 검고, 빛이 섬유 내부까지 미치지 못하기 때문에 만약 탄소 섬유에 염료를 흡착시키더라도 염료는 발색하지 않게 된다. 한편 검은 탄소 섬유를 표백해서 백색으로 만들기 위해 예를 들어 불소와 반응시키면 검은 탄소 섬유가 백색이 되기는 하지만, 이 불소와 반응한 탄소섬유는 대단히 부서지기 쉬워서, 섬유로 사용할 수 없게 된다. 따라서 탄소섬유는 검은 색 그대로 착색시키지 않으면 안된다. 즉 탄소 섬유는 섬유의 표면에 도료와 같은 색소 층을 붙여서 착색하게 된다.

본 논문은 XSD(XML Schema Definition)기반의 XML 문서를 웹, 엑셀 환경에서 다양한 관점으로 볼 수 있도록 템플릿 서비스를 제공하기 위한 시스템이다. 템플릿 서비스는 데이터스킨 서버에서 스킨을 통하여 서비스되며, XML 문서를 다양한 문서로 변환할 수 있도록 한다. 예로 XML 문서를 HTML로 변경하는 경우 XSLT(Extensible Style Language Transformation) 를 사용할 수 있고, 엑셀 문서로 변환할 경우 엑셀 템플릿을 만들어 스킨으로 제공할 수 있다. 스킨은 다양한 방법으로 구현될 수 있으며, XML 문서에서 사용자가 원하는 문서로 만들기 위한 미들웨어 역할을 한다. 사용자는 데이터스킨 변환 서버에 접속하여 가지고 있는 XML 정보들을 차트, 그래프, 수식 등으로 쉽게 변환할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 OWC(Office Web Component)로 쉽고 빠르게 문서를 변환 할 수 있도록 한다.
