Development of Standard Risk Indicators for the Prevention of Serious Accidents in Mobile Crane Operations (Focused on Construction Industry) (이동식크레인 작업의 중대재해예방을 위한 표준 리스크 평가 지수 개발 (건설업을 중심으로))

  • Purpose: Mobile cranes are machines that contribute to high mortality, and the High Risk Factor (SIF) information, which analyzed 2,574 accidental deaths in the construction industry in the past 6 years (2016~2021), resulted in a total of 61 mobile crane accidents. Despite safety measures in the field, it is not used properly. In this study, we present standard risk assessment indicators that contribute to accident prevention. Method: Through expert interviews, fatal accident case analysis, field analysis, and literature research, we present the standard risk assessment index method of the 4M risk assessment method. Result: As a result of analyzing the risk assessment of eight sites, it was concluded that it cannot make a significant contribution to disaster prevention and should be applied as an improvement measure of the Standard Risk Assessment Index Law. Conclusion: Switching to the standard risk assessment index method at construction sites has been proposed to make it easier for health and safety personnel and workers to use, contributing to the reduction of accidents.

Effect of Stroke Prevention Program for The Elderly in The Rural Area (농촌지역 노인을 위한 중풍예방 프로그램의 효과)

  • The goal of this study was to examine how effective stroke prevention program is for body mass index, blood pressure, blood glucose, and serum lipids of the elderly in the rural areas. The stroke prevention program included health care education, nutrition guidance and exercise. The program was provided for 12 weeks(36 sessions) from May to August, 2014. Participants were 55 elderly people in the rural areas; 28 people in the experimental group and 27 in the control group. The results of before and after the experiment showed that body mass index(p<.001), TC(p<.001), TG(p=.047), and LDL(p=.010) were significantly better in the experimental group compared to the control group. Also, after the program, the figures of body mass index, fasting blood glucose, TC, TG, and HDL in the control group were decreased, while those of LDL were increased. Study findings indicate that the stroke prevention program is effective and can be recommended as a precaution against the stroke of the elderly in the rural area by preventing risk factors beforehand.

A Study on Patterning and Grading by the Impact of Traffic Culture Index (교통문화지수 영향요인에 의한 유형화와 영향정도에 관한 연구)

  • This study suggests strategies to prevent traffic accidents by utilizing impact factors per each cluster and the typical patterns of 81 cities based on the statistical analysis of the data concerning the TCI which was developed from the partnership of the Traffic Safety Authority and the Green Traffic Movement Corporation in 2002 and 2003. The Principal Component Analysis and Cluster Analysis on impact factors and TCI result in 4 components and 4 clusters. Also as the results of Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis examining the relationship between impact factors and TCI, R2 values of these models show high to all clusters. According to the results, we suggest strategies to prevent traffic accidents per cluster concretely and it is necessary to analyze how effective the invested facilities are in reducing traffic accidents in the future.

  • 이 연구는 환자의 치위생학적 지식 및 실천 정도가 구강건강과 관련된 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 측정하고자 평가도구중 하나인 구강건강 영향지수(OHIP)를 사용하여 평가하였다. 그 결과 예방적인 지식이나 일상에서 매일 사용하는 구강용품지식 및 사용방법 지식이 높아야 주관적으로 느끼는 삶의 질이 높게 나타났다. 그리고 진료 형태별 지식과 같이 경험으로 습득한 지식은 높을수록 주관적으로 느끼는 삶의질이 낮게 나타났다. 반면 심미치료중의 하나인 미백치료지식은 높을수록 주관적으로 느끼는 삶의 질이 높게 나타났다. 즉 예방적이고 심미적인 지식이 구강건강영향지수에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석된다.

  • 본 논문은 24GHz 차량 추돌 예방 레이더 시스템-온-칩을 위한 입력 임피던스, 전압이득 및 잡음지수를 자동으로 측정할 수 있는 새로운 형태의 고주파 자체 내부검사(BIST, Built-In Self-Test) 회로를 제안한다. 이러한 BIST 회로는 TSMC $0.13{\mu}m$ 혼성신호/고주파 CMOS 공정 ($f_T/f_{MAX}$=140/120GHz)으로 설계되어 있다. 알고리즘은 LabVIEW로 구현되어 있다. BIST 알고리즘은 입력 임피던스 정합과 출력 직류 전압 측정원리를 이용한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법은 자동으로 쉽게 고주파 회로의 성능변수를 측정할 수 있기 때문에 시스템-온-칩의 저가 성능 검사의 대안이 될 것으로 기대한다.

  • 본 논문은 차량 추돌 예방 레이더용 고 이득 저전력 저잡음 특성을 가진 24GHz 저잡음 증폭기(LNA)를 제안한다. 이러한 회로는 TSMC $0.13{\mu}m$ 혼성신호/고주파 CMOS 공정($f_T/f_{MAX}=120/140GHz$)으로 설계되어 있다. 증폭기의 전압 이득을 향상시키기 위해 2단 캐스코드 구조로 구성되어 있다. 제안한 저잡음 증폭기는 최근 발표된 연구결과에 비해 41dB의 가장 높은 전압이득과 3.7dB의 가장 낮은 잡음지수 및 2.8dBm의 가장 우수한 IIP3 특성을 각각 보였다.

Estimation of Post Evaluation Index of Natural Disaster Prevention Projects using Structure Equation Modeling (구조방정식모델을 이용한 자연재해예방사업의 사후 평가 지수 산정)

  • Natural disaster has been hard to prevent the occurrence of itself, thus in order to reduce the economic damages and loss casualties, it is important to be prepared in cases that the disasters should occur in advance. Interest of the related project to prevent various natural disasters has been grown along with an investment in Korea. Along with this movement, when investments related to natural disaster prevention projects were built on, the post evaluation that can verify the ripple effects of those investments on the community should be emerging as an essential task. For evaluating the effects of public investment projects such as natural disaster prevention projects in this study, the related researches would continue through qualitative analyses, for example, cost-benefit analysis. Even the qualitative analysis alone cannot fully explain the effects of those projects, the diverse methods of analyzing and evaluating those effects might not have been presented in those fields. For the post evaluation of natural disaster prevention projects through the qualitative analysis, this study derived subjects that had effects on the post evaluation of natural disaster prevention projects. Also, employing the structural equation modeling (SEM), the causation between post evaluation subjects and the effects of projects were quantitatively analyzed, and the weighting factors of evaluation items were calculated respectively. Based on these results, post evaluation index formula was proposed for the natural disaster prevention projects in Korea.
