  • PVA는 열가소성 고분자임에도 불구하고 융점(230~25$0^{\circ}C$)에 이어 바로 측쇄의 분해(270 $^{\circ}C$)가 시작되므로 공정상 많은 어려움을 가지고 있다. 그러나 요드와 같은 극성의 가소제를 사용하면 결정영역 까지도 가소화 시킬 수 있는 이점이 있어 PVA 유연성, 가공성 둥의 성질을 개선시킬 수 있다. [1-3] 특히 본 연구에서 성형 전 요드화된 폴리비닐알코올 필름을 제작하여 구조를 살펴본 결과, 결정성이 많이 감소하다가 요드흡착량이 150%의 경우에서는 무정형상태까지 나타났다. (중략)

Variation of Word-Initial Length by Age in Seoul Dialect (서울말 장단의 연령별 변이)

  • The aim of this paper is to show what are the sociolinguistic variables of word-initial length loss in Seoul dialect. 350 people were inquired to pronounce 40 words. Among the informants, 152 were male, and 198 were female. In terms of their age, 49 were twenties, 70 were thirties, 69 were forties, 71 were fifties, and 91 were above sixties. According to our statistics, 18 words show sociolinguistic variation by age, and sex was not a variable. So we can conclude that Seoul dialect is undergoing length loss by age at least. But we need to enlarge the number of words and informants and we also need to adopt other variables like social level, education etc for better understanding of Seoul dialect.

  • In recent years, accordance to industrial development project on railway investment, adverse environmental issues of the investment, such as disputed cases about recycling and usage of Ballast Cleaner excavated soil, have been continuously increasing. It will not only enhance the regulation of soil contamination but take considerable time and cost in future. In this study, we investigated soil contamination and burnability with soil of Chungang Line, Taebaek Line, Chungbuk Line, in order to seize a possibility of recycling Ballast Cleaner excavated soil for the natural materials and substantial heat sources, which are necessary resources for cement manufacturing process. As a result of this study, It is found that Ballast Cleaner excavated soil is satisfied with a standard. The excavated soil contains a lot of cement ingredients and fossil fuel dust incurred from freight transportation, so it is expected to use for ingredients of cement and replacement of heat sources.

  • In this study, 18-inch wheels, magnesium alloy AZ91D was developed and we compared overseas go on sale magnesium wheels and same specifications of the aluminum wheels mechanical properties. Prototype 18-inch magnesium wheels by a low-pressure casting method to achieve the same specifications of aluminum wheels and reduced 26% of the weight, the new edition of magnesium wheels compared to the same level of elongation, tensile strength, hardness. Casting and heat treatment process to improve future need to improve the yield strength is expected.

  • In this paper, the real-time prediction of high temperature creep life was carried out for the friction welded joints of dissimilar heat resistintg steels (CulCr0.5Zr-STS316L). Various life prediction methods such as LMP (Larson-Miller Parameter) and ISM (initial strain method) were applied. The creep behaviors of those steels and the welds under static load were examined by ISM combined with LMP at 300, 400 and 50$0^{\circ}C$, and the relationship between these two methods was investigated. A real-time creep life (tsub/r/, hr) prediction equation by initial strain ($\varepsilon_0$, %) under any creep stress ($\sigma$, MP$\alpha$) at any high temperature (T, K) was developed

  • In this paper, the creep properties and creep life prediction by Larson-Miller Parameter method for Udimet 720 to be used for aircraft gas turbine engines or other high temperature components were presented at the elevated temperatures of 538, 649 and $704^{\circ}C$. It was confirmed experimentally and quantitatively that a creep life predictive equation at such various high temperatures was well derived by LMP.

  • Nylon textured yarn is usually manufactured by disk type false twist texturing. Dyeing properties of nylon textured yam have not been studied yet. In this study, dyeing properties of nylon textured yam according to draw ratio out of process parameters were investigated. The fact that microstructure of nylon textured yarn in amorphous region particularly is transformed by draw ratio was confirmed indirectly by measurement of dyeing rate because dyeing rate was affected by the structure of amorphous region. Dyeing rate at draw ratio 1.29 was the lowest because the higher draw ratio increase amorphous orientation and disturb dye diffusion into amorphous region. The microstructure according draw ratio was indirectly confirmed by 5% strength, tenacity, elongation. But difference in K/S value and fastness was insignificant.
