Performance Prediction of Tilting Actuator for 180km/h Korea Tilting Train (180km/h급 한국형 틸팅차량의 틸팅대차용 엑츄에이터 성능 예측)

  • 180km/h 급 한국형 틸팅차량의 틸팅 메카니즘 기구동역학 해석을 통하여 얻어진 틸팅 대차를 형성하는 주요 파라메터들의 값을 기반으로 틸팅대차용 엑츄에이터의 성능과 용량을 계산하여 설계에 결과를 반영하고자 한다. 승객의 안락감을 유지하기 위해 차체 틸팅 각가속도에 Sine 연속 함수를 적용하여 차체의 틸팅 제어 패턴을 결정하였으며, 이를 통해 차체의 틸팅 각속도와 틸팅각의 패턴을 얻어내었다. 또한 이번 연구를 통해 틸팅 메카니즘의 파라메타를 변화하면서 각각의 틸팅각에 따른 Swing bar 와 엑츄에이터에 작용되는 반발력에 대한 영향력을 분석, 검토하였으며, 이에 따른 엑츄에이터의 출력과 변위 속도등의 변화를 조사하였다. 이러한 결과와 틸팅 메카니즘 기구동력학 해석의 결과를 토대로 틸팅차량이 요구하는 최적의 틸팅 운동을 수행하는 파라메타를 결정하였다.

  • In this study, the dynamic behavior of a continuous bridge under moving load is studied considering roughness of the road surface. Vehicle model includes the spring effects of axes, and due to these effects, equations of motions for the vehicle and bridge are derived in coupled form. And then iteration method is used to solve the equations. In experimental study a bridge model is constructed considering the similarity rule in order that the model exhibits dynamic behavior similar to that of prototype. Three types of roughness such as uneven random roughness, uplift on the approach and piece-wise constant roughness are used to describe road roughness. Through the numerical analysis and experiments, the effects of surface roughness, sprung mass, and velocity on the dynamic behavior of the bridge are examined.

  • This paper reports the results of the eruption of a volcano on Jeju Island at a certain rate, and the tumulus formed after the eruption and the basalt that erupted from the middle of Mt. Halla washed up to the sea. We analyzed the speed when basalt underground magma breaks through the neutral zone on the ground with an absolute temperature of about 1000K and explodes at an absolute temperature of 1200K at an altitude of 1950m. The density of combustion gas becomes smaller than the surrounding air due to the plume volcanic eruption, which is the heat flow of the flame column due to buoyancy, and buoyancy is generated and an updraft is formed. Flame pillars are classified as continuous, intermittent, and buoyant flame zones. As the speed of the flame pillar of Mt. Halla (1950m) falls from the highest point it has risen, potential energy is converted into kinetic energy and is caused by the flow of fluid, solving these two equations equal, the volcanic eruption velocity is 87.5 m/s. At this time, the density of magma is inversely proportional to the temperature. Geomunoreum (456m) had an explosion speed of 42.6m/s.

Kinematics of an Intrinsic Continuum Robot with Pneumatic Artificial Muscles (공압인공근육을 가진 내부형 연속체로봇의 기구식)

  • This study presents the kinematics of an intrinsic continuum robot actuated by pneumatic artificial muscles. The single section of a developed continuum robot consisted of three muscles in parallel. The contraction of each muscle according to applied air pressure produced spatial motions of a distal plate with respect to a base plate. Based on the bending behaviors of artificial muscles, the orientation and position of the end-effector of a continuum robot were formulated using a transformation matrix. The orientation and position was also determined for a single section of the distal plate. A Jacobian matrix relating the contraction rate or the pressure rate of the muscles to the velocity vector of the end-effector was calculated considering the assembled position of actuators between neighboring sections of the robot. Experimental results showed that the motions of the intrinsic continuum robot were accurately estimated by the proposed kinematics.

  • Even todays, accurate and efficient algorithms for the large deformation analysis of elastoplastic frame structures lack due to the complexities of kinematics, material nonlinearities and numerical methods to cater for. The author suggests appropriate beam element based upon the incremental formulation from the 3D rod theory where Cauchy stress and engineering strain are variables to incorporate plasticity equations so that objectivity may be satisfied. A rectum mapping methods which can integrate and satisfy yield criteria efficiently is suggested and a continuation method which has global convergency and quadratic speed is developed as well. leading-unloading example problems are tested and the ideas are proved to be valuable.

동축형 분사기 분무특성 및 연소의 이론적 모델

  • 일반적인 액체추진제 로켓엔진의 연소는 분사제트의 미립화, 액적의 증발, 기상 추진제의 혼합, 화학반응 등, 일련의 물리적 과정들로 이루어지고, 여기서 특성속도 효율은 크게 분사특성 및 연소의 두 단계에서 결정되게 된다. 액체추진제 로켓엔진에 사용되는 여러 분무형태 중, 동축형 분사기에서는 액상과 기상 제트의 운동량 차에 의해 미립화가 이루어지며, 분무 액적들의 전개와 더불어 분사기 출구를 포함한 전 영역에서 연소가 발생되므로 매우 복잡한 물리적 특성들을 포함하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 기상 연료-액상 산화제의 동축형 분무연소를 JANNAF의 방법을 사용하여 수식화 하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 분무특성과 연소성능 예측을 위한 프로그램을 작성, 분사조건에 의한 분무특성과 그에 따른 연소성능을 계산하였다. 연속, 운동량, 에너지 및 혼합비 방정식의 지배방정식들을 바탕으로 기상 유동을 수식화 하였으며, 별도로 액적의 소산 및 연소과정을 모사하기 위한 별도의 수식들이 추가되었고, 이 식들을 결합하여 액적의 크기, 분포를 포함하는 액체 제트의 미립화 정도를 공간적으로 계산하였다. 미립화 모델의 검증을 위하여 계산 결과를 Reitz의 실험과 Giridharan의 모델 등과 비교하였으며 잘 일치하는 경향을 나타내었다. 또한 동축형 분사기에서의 분무 특성을 예측하기 위해 액체 산소, 기체 수소를 추진제 조합으로 하는 동축형 분무 연소장에서의 제트 길이, 액적의 크기, 액체 제트의 속도를 계산하였다. 계산 결과 액체 제트의 접촉길이는 분사공의 지름이 증가할수록 웨버수가 증가되므로 짧아지는 것으로 관찰되었으며 액적의 크기도 분사공의 지름이 증가할수록 작아지는 경향을 나타내었다. 액체 제트의 속도는 처음에는 일정하게 유지되다가 운동량을 보존하기 위해 가스로부터 운동량을 받아 점차 가속되어지는 것으로 나타났다.본 규격은 키, 총장, 어깨길이, 등길이, 머리길이, 머리둘레, 진동둘레, 목둘레, 가슴둘레, 허리둘레, 배둘레, 엉덩이둘레, 앞품, 뒤품, drop치를 포함하고 있고, 각 규격에서 호칭간 치수 간격도 함께 제시하고 있다. 본 연구 결과에서 보듯, 현행 8규격의 무진복의 각 호칭간 적정 허용범위를 고려해 합리적인 치수체계를 정립한다면 치수에 대한 적합도가 상당히 증가할 뿐 아니라 생산비용도 상당히 감축할 것으로 생각된다.나타났다. 4) 호감적 서비스능력 차원에서 세 독립변수간에 유의한 3원 상호작용이 존재하는 것으로 나타나( $F_{2,228}$=15.62, P<.001) 20대에 적합한 의복 착용시( $F_{2,228}$=3.98, P<.05)와 60대에 적합한 의복 착용시( $F_{2,228}$=16.55, P<.001) 점포유형과 격식차림간에는 유의한 상호작용이 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 5) 호감을 구성하는 세 요인들이 구매의도에 미치는 영향을 조사한 결과 호감적 인상차원은 29%(P<.001), 호감적 서비스능력차원은 6%(P<.001)의 구매의도를 설명해 주는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 노년 소비자에게 호감을 주는 판매원의 외모는 구매의도에 영향을 주어 실버의류산업의 이익증대와 밀접한 연관을 갖는 서비스품질의 중요한 요인으로 밝혀졌다.중요한 요인으로 밝혀졌다.로운 단백질 EPSPS가 다른 여러 식물에 이미 존재하고 있는 단백질로서 우리가 이미 이러한 식품을 섭취할 때 이 단백질도 같이 섭취해오고 있었다는 점, 둘째. 이 단백질이 소화액 분해 실험에서 짧은 시간내에 분해가 되었다는 점, 셋째. 재조합 된 콩과 자연 콩이 성분 분석에서 차이를 나타내지 않았다는 점, 네 번째. 쥐를 통한 다양섭취 실험에서 아무런 이상 반응이 없었

Marine terrace and its implications to paleoenvironment during the Quaternary at Suje-ri - Suryum-ri of the East coast of Gyeongju, SE Korea (한반도 남동부 경주시 수제리-수렴리의 해안단구와 제4기 환경변화)

  • During the last few decades, the ever-increasing knowledge of coastal morphogenic processes has made marine terraces the most recognizable, widespread and scientifically reliable records to determine both qualitatively and quantitatively the vertical movements that have affected the tectonically active coastal regions during the Quaternary. This study first aims to address the marine terrace records from Suje-ri to Suryum-ri along the coast of Gyeongju, SE Korea. Eight distinct flights of terraces, including HH YC, elevated up to 160 m above present sea level have been mapped along the coast of the study areas, and are designated $L_{II}$ to HH YC from the youngest to oldest. Based on the elevation of paleo-shoreline and inferred formation age for HH YC uplift rate since the middle Pleistocene has been estimated at 0.23 mm/year. Establishing the nature and timing of the uplift history derived from marine terraces provide a better understanding of neotectonic framework for explain enigmatic, complex landscape evolution in the Korean peninsula.

  • This paper discusses the design of a working system that visually recognizes hand gestures for the control of a window based user interface. We present a method for tracking the fingertip of the index finger using a single camera. Our method is based on CAMSHIFT algorithm and performs better than the CAMSHIFT algorithm in that it tracks well particular hand poses used in the system in complex backgrounds. We describe how the location of the fingertip is mapped to a location on the monitor, and how it Is both necessary and possible to smooth the path of the fingertip location using a physical model of a mouse pointer. Our method is able to track in real time, yet not absorb a major share of computational resources. The performance of our system shows a great promise that we will be able to use this methodology to control computers in near future.

Effect of Guideway Characteristics on Runnability of Actively Controlled Maglev Vehicle (선로특성이 능동제어 자기부상열차의 주행성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of present study is to examine the effect of guideway characteristics on runnability of low and medium speed maglev vehicle. Dynamic governing equation for 2-dof vehicle and optimal feedback control scheme are developed. And then the effect of vehicle speed, rail roughness, guideway deflection, continuity of spans, each span length on dynamic response of the UTM-01 maglev vehicle are investigated. From the numerical simulation, it is found that the gap between bogie and guideway does not increase greatly within design velocity of the vehicle. The response of vehicle are mostly affected by the guideway deflection rather than rail roughness. As a result of the present study, the runnability of maglev vehicle can be improved by reducing the maximum deflection of guideway and adopting the continuous girder systems.

Investigation on fluid-particle velocity double correlation in fluid- particle two-phase turbulent flows (유체에 입자가 부상된 2상난류운동에서 유체-입자속도 2차상관관계에 관한 연구)

  • An analysis of radiative heat transfer has been conducted on axisymmetric finite cylindrical media. It is assumed that the temperature in the media is uniformly distributed and the boundaries are diffusely emitting and reflecting at a constant temperature. The scattering phase function is represented by the delta-Eddington approximation to account for highly forward scattering by particulates just as in the combustion system. Exact numerical solutions are obtained by Gaussian quadrature method and compared with P-1 and P-3 approximation solutions to verify their engineering application limit. The effects of optical thickness, scattering albedo, wall emissivity and aspect ratio are investigated. The results show that P-3 approximation is found to be in good agreement with the exact solution.
