Characteristics of the Transverse Fuel Injection into a Supersonic Crossflow using Various Injector Geometries (분사구 형상에 따른 초음속 유동장 내 수직 연료 분사 특성)

  • In this study, computational simulation was performed to investigate the characteristics of air/fuel mixing according to the shape of the injector exit when the transverse jet was injected into a supersonic flow. Non-reacting flow simulation was conducted with fixed mass flow rate and the same cross-sectional area. To validate the results, free stream Mach number and jet-to-crossflow memetum ratio are set to 3.38 and 1.4, respectively, which is same as the experimental condition. Further, separation region, structure of the under-expended jet, jet penetration height, and flammable region of hydrogen for five different injectors compared.

  • In this study, his technique was applied to a GDI spray in order to investigate the mixture distribution. In addition, the homogeneity degree and diffusion effect according to ambient temperature in the high pressure chamber were analyzed by using an entropy analysis method. From this experiment, we could find that entropy analysis is very effective method for the analysis of mixture formation, and the entropy values increase with the progress of uniformity in diffusion Process. we tried to provide the fundamental data for parameter which effects on the spray macroscopic characteristics with mixture ratio of diesel and gasoline. In addition, the mixture formation was analyzed by using entropy analysis. The entropy analysis is based on the concept of statistical entropy, and it identifies the degree of homogeneity in the fuel concentration. From the entropy analysis results we could find that the direct diffusion phenomena is a dominant factor in the formation of a homogeneous mixture at downstream of GDI spray especially in vaporizing conditions. As to increasing ambient temperature and increasing gasoline rate, the entropy intensity using the statistic thermodynamics method is increased because evaporation rate is higher gasoline than diesel.

동축형 분사기 분무특성 및 연소의 이론적 모델

  • 일반적인 액체추진제 로켓엔진의 연소는 분사제트의 미립화, 액적의 증발, 기상 추진제의 혼합, 화학반응 등, 일련의 물리적 과정들로 이루어지고, 여기서 특성속도 효율은 크게 분사특성 및 연소의 두 단계에서 결정되게 된다. 액체추진제 로켓엔진에 사용되는 여러 분무형태 중, 동축형 분사기에서는 액상과 기상 제트의 운동량 차에 의해 미립화가 이루어지며, 분무 액적들의 전개와 더불어 분사기 출구를 포함한 전 영역에서 연소가 발생되므로 매우 복잡한 물리적 특성들을 포함하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 기상 연료-액상 산화제의 동축형 분무연소를 JANNAF의 방법을 사용하여 수식화 하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 분무특성과 연소성능 예측을 위한 프로그램을 작성, 분사조건에 의한 분무특성과 그에 따른 연소성능을 계산하였다. 연속, 운동량, 에너지 및 혼합비 방정식의 지배방정식들을 바탕으로 기상 유동을 수식화 하였으며, 별도로 액적의 소산 및 연소과정을 모사하기 위한 별도의 수식들이 추가되었고, 이 식들을 결합하여 액적의 크기, 분포를 포함하는 액체 제트의 미립화 정도를 공간적으로 계산하였다. 미립화 모델의 검증을 위하여 계산 결과를 Reitz의 실험과 Giridharan의 모델 등과 비교하였으며 잘 일치하는 경향을 나타내었다. 또한 동축형 분사기에서의 분무 특성을 예측하기 위해 액체 산소, 기체 수소를 추진제 조합으로 하는 동축형 분무 연소장에서의 제트 길이, 액적의 크기, 액체 제트의 속도를 계산하였다. 계산 결과 액체 제트의 접촉길이는 분사공의 지름이 증가할수록 웨버수가 증가되므로 짧아지는 것으로 관찰되었으며 액적의 크기도 분사공의 지름이 증가할수록 작아지는 경향을 나타내었다. 액체 제트의 속도는 처음에는 일정하게 유지되다가 운동량을 보존하기 위해 가스로부터 운동량을 받아 점차 가속되어지는 것으로 나타났다.본 규격은 키, 총장, 어깨길이, 등길이, 머리길이, 머리둘레, 진동둘레, 목둘레, 가슴둘레, 허리둘레, 배둘레, 엉덩이둘레, 앞품, 뒤품, drop치를 포함하고 있고, 각 규격에서 호칭간 치수 간격도 함께 제시하고 있다. 본 연구 결과에서 보듯, 현행 8규격의 무진복의 각 호칭간 적정 허용범위를 고려해 합리적인 치수체계를 정립한다면 치수에 대한 적합도가 상당히 증가할 뿐 아니라 생산비용도 상당히 감축할 것으로 생각된다.나타났다. 4) 호감적 서비스능력 차원에서 세 독립변수간에 유의한 3원 상호작용이 존재하는 것으로 나타나( $F_{2,228}$=15.62, P<.001) 20대에 적합한 의복 착용시( $F_{2,228}$=3.98, P<.05)와 60대에 적합한 의복 착용시( $F_{2,228}$=16.55, P<.001) 점포유형과 격식차림간에는 유의한 상호작용이 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 5) 호감을 구성하는 세 요인들이 구매의도에 미치는 영향을 조사한 결과 호감적 인상차원은 29%(P<.001), 호감적 서비스능력차원은 6%(P<.001)의 구매의도를 설명해 주는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 노년 소비자에게 호감을 주는 판매원의 외모는 구매의도에 영향을 주어 실버의류산업의 이익증대와 밀접한 연관을 갖는 서비스품질의 중요한 요인으로 밝혀졌다.중요한 요인으로 밝혀졌다.로운 단백질 EPSPS가 다른 여러 식물에 이미 존재하고 있는 단백질로서 우리가 이미 이러한 식품을 섭취할 때 이 단백질도 같이 섭취해오고 있었다는 점, 둘째. 이 단백질이 소화액 분해 실험에서 짧은 시간내에 분해가 되었다는 점, 셋째. 재조합 된 콩과 자연 콩이 성분 분석에서 차이를 나타내지 않았다는 점, 네 번째. 쥐를 통한 다양섭취 실험에서 아무런 이상 반응이 없었

  • Recently, many researches for the improvement of DI diesel engines have been performed to reduce the fuel consumption and exhaust emissions. Among the various factors effect on combustion and emission in Dl diesel engines, one of the most important factors is the characteristics of the fuel spray. Accordingly, the investigation on the characteristics of spray is needed to analyze the diesel combustion exactly, In this study, the measurement technique fur injection rate using the Zeuch method was developed. In addition, the effects of nozzle hole number on the spray and flame were investigated by visualization experiment.

  • A numerical analysis is achieved to elucidate the behavior of lifted flames and characteristics of flow near flame zone according to the exit velocity of triple flame, Poiseuille and uniform distribution. For the cases of Poiseuille and uniform nozzle exit velocity, we reviewed previous results with the present numerical results and investigated characteristics of the flame structure near the flame zone comparing with liftoff height generalized by momentum flux. In addition, a close inquiry into the combustion flow characteristics near flame zone was made with the characteristics of velocity, pressure, temperature and chemical reaction. From nozzle to flame zone, center line velocity profile traced well with the velocity profile of typical cold jet flow, but very near the flame zone, this study examined phenomenon that flow velocity decreases very quickly before the flame zone and then increases very quickly after the flame zone. Because flame zone acts as a barrier at the flow region which is before the flame zone and accelerate the flow velocity when it pass through the flame zone. This phenomenon was not clarified previous cold jet flow.

An Investigation of Acoustic Excitation on Sooting Diffusion Flame (Soot 배출 확산 화염에 대한 음향 가진 효과 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 soot을 배출하는 층류 확산 화염에 대한 음향 가진(acoustic excitation) 효과에 대해 연구하였다. 최근의 연구결과는 soot 배출 화염에 음향 가진을 작용시키면 radiation은 증가하고 soot 배출은 감소한다는 사실을 밝혀주었다. 음향 속도(acoustic velocity)는 음향 압력(acoustic pressure)과 900 상(phase) 차이가 있기 때문에 acoustic driver를 장착한 유리 튜브 내부의 축방향으로 soot을 배출하는 아세틸렌 확산 화염을 이동시킴으로서 soot 배출 감소에 대한 음향 속도와 음향 압력의 상대적인 중요도를 밝혀낼 수 있다. Soot을 배출하는 아세틸렌 화염에 soot 배출이 멈출 때까지 음향 가진을 작용시키고 유리 튜브 안의 최대 압력 위치에서 음향 압력을 측정하며, 화염 위치의 음향 속도와 음향압력은 운동량 방정식과 파동 방정식을 통해 계산된다. 실험 결과 음향 속도가 최대이고 음향 압력이 최소인 위치에서 보다 음향 속도가 최소이고 음향 압력이 최대인 위치에서 훨씬 더 큰 acoustic power가 필요함을 보여주었다. Soot 배출을 멈추는데 필요한 음향 속도의 크기는 유리 튜브의 축방향에 대해 거의 일정한 반면 음향 압력의 크기는 상당한 변화가 있었다. 이러한 결과는 Soot 배출의 감소가 주로 음향 속도에 의한 것임을 강하게 시사한다고 할 수 있다. 또한 연료의 유량이 증가함에 따라 soot 배출을 억제하는데 필요한 acoustic power도 증가한다는 사실을 확인 할 수 있었다.

Dynamic Simulation of the Water-steam System in Once-through Boilers - Sub-critical Power Boiler Case - (관류보일러 물-증기 계통의 동적 시뮬레이션 - 아임계 동력보일러 사례 -)

  • The dynamics of a water-steam system in a once-through boiler was simulated based on the physics-based modeling approach, representing the system in response to large load change or scale disturbance simulations. The modeling considered the mass, energy conservation, and momentum equation in the water pipe and the focus was limited to the sub-critical pressure region. An evaporator tube modeling was validated against the reference data. A simplified boiler system consisting of economizer, evaporator, and superheater was constructed to match a 500 MW power boiler. The dynamic response of the system following a disturbance was discussed along with the quantitative response characteristics. The dynamic response of the boiler system was further evaluated by checking the case of an off-design point operation of the feedwater-to-fuel supply ratio. The results re-emphasized the significance of controlling the feedwater-to-fuel supply ratio and additional design requirements of the water-steam separator and spray attemperator.

  • As a result of the exhaustion of fossil fuel, interest about renewable energy is increasing day by day. Inter alia, study for wave power energy of which the calculability is high and the available amount is abundant is going along actively. As a float-countweight wave energy converter is equivalent improved structural strength compared with oscillating body type. we made the wave only in order to up and down motion by setting up bulkhead which is called wave camber at the outside of float. This paper mainly focuses on generation amount of plural connected float-counterweight wave energy converter and we calculate the amount. The result, we confirmed that the more a numerical value of nl/L increases, the more amount of electricity rises and also when it is over nl/L=0.40, it is possible to get continuous generation. Through this study, we can use as basic data for design of wave chamber on advantageous condition at the real seas and by way of estimation for generation amount.

  • To evaluate characteristics in spray flame, laminar counterflow is investigated on the effects of equivalence ratio and fuel by a two-dimensional DNS (direct numerical simulation). For the gaseous phase, Eulerian mass, momentum, energy, and species conservation equations are solved. For the disperse phase, all individual droplets are calculated by the Lagrangian method without the parcel model. n-Decane ($C_{10}H_{22}$) and n-heptane ($C_7H_{16}$) is used as a liquid spray fuel, and a one-step global reaction is employed for the combustion reaction model. As equivalence ratio increases, the fuel ignites early and the high temperature region spreads wider. The peak value of temperature, however, tends to once increase and then decreases with increasing equivalence ratio. The decrease in the peak value of temperature for the higher equivalence ratio condition is caused by the cooling effect associated with droplet group combustion. Since the evaporation of n-heptane is early, the high temperature region spreads wider than ndecane, but the peak values of temperature for both n-heptane and n-decane is almost same.

Characteristics of Autoignited Laminar Lifted Flames in Heated Coflow Jets of Carbon Monoxide/Hydrogen Mixtures (일산화탄소/수소 혼합기의 가열된 동축류 제트에서 자발화된 층류 부상화염의 특성)

  • The characteristics of autoignited lifted flames in laminar jets of carbon monoxide/hydrogen fuels have been investigated experimentally in heated coflow air. In result, as the jet velocity increased, the blowoff was directly occurred from the nozzle-attached flame without experiencing a stabilized lifted flame, in the non-autoignited regime. In the autoignited regime, the autoignited lifted flame of carbon monoxide diluted by nitrogen was affected by the water vapor content in the compressed air oxidizer, as evidenced by the variation of the ignition delay time estimated by numerical calculation. In particular, in the autoignition regime at low temperatures with added hydrogen, the liftoff height of the autoignited lifted flames decreased and then increased as the jet velocity increased. Based on the mechanism in which the autoignited laminar lifted flame is stabilized by ignition delay time, the liftoff height can be influenced not only by the heat loss, but also by the preferential diffusion between momentum and mass diffusion in fuel jets during the autoignition process.
