Analysis of the Trends of Construction Technology Development based on Big Data - Focused on Construction Patents in Relation to the 4th Industrial Revolution ICT Technologies - (빅데이터 기반의 건설기술 개발 트렌드 분석에 관한 연구 - 4차 산업혁명 ICT 기술 관련 건설특허를 중심으로 -)

  • As global interests in the 4th Industrial Revolution have recently increased, it becomes critical for the construction industry to pro-actively cope with it. For effective actions, the construction industry needs to make active use of 4th Industrial Revolution technologies based on the up-to-date understanding of the trends of construction technology development employing the 4th Industrial Revolution technologies. The objective of the study is to investigate and identify key trends of ICT construction technology development over the last ten years based on Big Data Analytics. The study identifies eleven key trends and discusses that ICT construction technology development has not been as active as expected and software technologies have been less developed compared to hardware technologies.

  • 온라인 쇼핑몰에서 소비자들이 원하는 상품을 노출시켜 정보를 제공하기 위해서는 상품의 트렌드 분석에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 대량의 SNS 데이터와 서비스 내 사용자 데이터를 결합하여 보다 효율적인 상품 트렌드 분석 기법을 제안한다. 온라인 소셜 네트워크의 대중화로 소비자들은 시공간에 구애받지 않고 상품에 대한 정보를 SNS로 교류할 수 있다. 제안하는 기법은 이 과정에서 발생한 SNS 데이터와 사용자 성향 데이터에 시간 속성을 고려하여 상품 트렌드를 분석한다.

Trend Analysis of Apartments Demand based on Big Data (빅데이터 기반의 아파트 수요 트렌드 분석에 관한 연구)

  • Apartments are a major type of residence and their number has continuously increased. Apartments have multiple meanings in that for public they are not only for residence purpose but for investment, a major commodity for construction firms and a critical policy measure of public well-fare for the government. Therefore, it is critical to understand and analyze trends in apartments demand for pro-active actions. The objective of the study is to analyze and identify key trends in apartments demand based on big data drawn from articles of major daily newspapers. The study identifies 17 major trends from seven themes including development, trade, sale in lots, location requirements, policy, residential environment, and investment and profit. The research methods in the study can be usefully applied to further studies for various issues in relation to the construction industry.

  • With advances in topic detection and tracking(TDT), automatic trend analysis from a collection of time-stamped documents, like patents, news papers, and blog pages, is a challenging research problem. Past research in this area has mainly focused on showing a trend line over time of a given concept by measuring the strength of trend-associated term frequency information. for detection of emerging trends, either a simple criterion such as frequency change was used, or an overall comparison was made against a training data. We note that in order to show most salient trends detected among many possibilities, it is critical to devise a ranking function. To this end, we define four properties(change, persistency, stability and volume) of trend lines drawn from frequency information, to quantify various aspects of trends, and propose a method by which trend lines can be ranked. The properties are examined individually and in combination in a series of experiments for their validity using the ranking algorithm. The results show that a judicious combination of the four properties is a better indicator for salient trends than any single criterion used in the past for ranking or detecting emerging trends.

  • As the information and communications market goes more uncertain, foresight activities becomes more important. A number of foresight activities, such as trend analysis, have been used to predict customer needs. However previous studies tend to lack objectivity and systematization. In this study, we suggest a meta analysis methodology which combines both top-down and bottom-up approach in order to systematize the analysis process. Secondly, we applied this approach to ICT market to identify essential future technologies. Based on the result from the meta analysis, we have constructed the future technology roadmap.

Trend Changes of Domestic Swimwear Design (국내 수영복의 디자인 트렌드 변화)

  • Sports wear in relation to sports life is being developed in fashion industry with increasing leisure time. However, design development for swimwear including trend analysis is still required. In this research, we analyzed design trends in domestic social and cultural environment, and fashion design elements for the development for swimwear. We collected 9,549 picture images totally through 138 swimwear product catalogues in 1970s to 2014, and 8 web sites. We analyzed formative characteristics such as silhouettes, materials, colors, and textile designs. Because of the shorter cycle of social changes, and various trend, design changes of swimwear are getting diverse. Especially, color and textile design are remarkable. Also, new materials and printing technology make the design of swimming wear more comfortable and fashionable. This research would be a basic research for the design development of swimming wear.

  • 최근 소셜 네트워크 서비스상의 데이터를 실시간으로 분석하여 의미있는 정보를 찾아내기 위한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 특히, 스마트폰과 같은 스마트 디바이스를 이용하는 많은 사용자들이 실시간으로 발생하는 이벤트를 소셜 네트워크상에 게재하고 서로 공유하면서, 대중들이 관심을 가지는 토픽의 경우 굉장히 빠르게 확산되는 경향을 보이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 SNS의 특성을 토대로 트위터상의 트윗을 분석하여 여러 분야의 토픽들을 카테고리별로 분류하고, 카테고리별 트렌드를 추출하여 실시간으로 시각화하는 기법을 제안한다. 이를 위해, 트위터를 기반으로 SVM 분류 알고리즘과 Twitter-LDA를 통하여 트윗을 분야별로 분류하고, 각각의 트렌드를 이루는 대표적인 키워드를 선출하여 이를 기반으로 실시간 트렌드를 추출한다. 제안하는 기법의 성능을 평가하기 위해, 분류 특징 선택의 신뢰도를 측정한다.

  • Today, every social phenomenon has there own trend. However, the lead of all trend is taken by fashion trend connected with the change of clothes. Fashion collection shows overall trends and characteristics of fashion trends, and fashion collections in Paris, Milano, New York, and London, known as the world's top four collections, are creating latest trends. Collections of fashion designers, who deliver these trends in a quickest way, show all elements ranging from fashion to make-up, hair, and accessories. New make-up trends of every season are introduced in fashion collection, since a fashion collection is a venue where not only various designs or colors, but also diverse image concepts are experimented. Therefore, this study aims to analyze make-up trend found in the world top four fashion collections and get into the influence on new trend of cosmetic brands.

A Trend Analysis of Contemporary Dance (컨템포러리 댄스 트렌드 분석에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to examine the present (Western) modern dance by analyzing the works of three choreographers who are currently at the forefront of the dance scene to identify and understand the current choreographic trend. The three selected choreographers for this study are Justin Peck (USA), Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui (Belgium) and Zach Morris (USA). These choreographers were chosen on the basis of their significant identity within the current dance scene. For analysis, one noteworthy works of each choreographer were selected for video analysis. The result of the analysis illustrates that in the current era of promoting technology convergence in the performing arts industry, the three choreographers approach convergence differently by integrating dance and other mediums in their choreography. Peck converges between ballet and the ordinary, Cherkaoui converges between dance and other cultures and Morris converges between dance and venue.
