  • 가상문서 개념에 기반을 둔 디지털도서관에서는 기존의 멀티미디어 문서를 활용하여 새로운 view를 생성하고 지식을 창출할 수 있는 기능을 제공한다. 이 접근 방법의 초점은 링크를 사용하여 기존의 자원을 연결하여 가상문서를 생성하고 필요한때 필요한 부분만 가져다가 통합하여 재현시킬 수 있는 기능과 이렇게 생성된 가상문서를 총체적으로 혹은 부분적으로 검색할 수 있다는 것이다. 반면에 W3C에서는 Topic Maps라는 개념을 표준안으로 하였는데, 이 개념은 근본 취지에 있어 가상문서의 개념과 매우 유사하나 문서를 끌어서 통합하는 기능이나 부분문서를 가져오는 기능 등이 없다. 여기서도 기존 문서에 링크를 걸어 사용자가 원하는 토픽이 연결될 수 있도록 하는 기능을 규정하고 있는데, 지식 표현 및 추론 등 다양한 응용에 관한 연구가 진행되어 오고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 충남대학교에서 개발한 가상문서 기반 디지털도서관 개념에 이 Topic Maps 기능을 연결하여 호환성을 제공하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이러한 호환성은 디지털도서관 분야에서의 핵심 이슈이며, 실용적인 관점에서 가상문서 기반 디지털도서관의 가용성을 향상시켜 궁극적으로 외부 시스템과도 연계될 수 있는 기반을 제공할 것이다.

Interface Horizontal Shear Strength between UHPC Deck and Concrete Girder with Stirrups (스터럽을 이용한 UHPC 바닥판과 콘크리트 거더 연결부의 수평전단강도)

  • The purpose of this experimental research was to evaluate interface shear requirements between UHPC deck and concrete girder with stirrups according to Korean Highway Bridge Design Code and AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications. The push-out tests are performed to analize the composite behavior in interface of connection. The test results were compared to the values of interface horizontal shear strength predicted by current codes. As the results, it was observed that the test results provided more conservative estimate for horizontal shear strength than the values by current codes equation.

  • Ultra High Performance Concrete(UHPC) is a superior structural material with high strength and durability. Construction of light and slim structures is realized to apply this expectable new materials in practice. This research is a part of the project to develop UHPC precast deck system for hybrid cable stayed bridge. The main object of this study is to investigate behavior of the lap-spliced reinforced connection in UHPC. The major parameter considered in experimental plan was lap-spliced length. The 4-points bending test for 12 specimens were conducted to verify the effect of considered parameters. Test results show that the minimum value of lap spliced length of 300mm which specified in current korea high bridge design code was very conservative for UHPC precast deck system.

  • This essay provides a legislative perspective on conflict-of-laws issues in the area of antitrust law. A consistent focus on the affected market question of applicable law is possible and yields content and acceptable results. The law applicable to damages claims should follow the law applicable to the antitrust relation itself. It is problematic, however, where more than one market is affected. In my view, the European perspective provides one general lesson for us. We are not yet prepared to accept american-style of class action in the field of antitrust law, at least until the european have made their legislative decision. Nevertheless we should make our antitrust system more effective, so that it would have strong deterrence to anti-competitive conducts. In this paper I present a proposal for adoption of a international conflict of law instrument, possibly a regulation, on damages actions for breach of art. 32 Korean Anti-trust Law.

우리나라의 공역관리 개선방안

  • 우리나라가 관할하는 공역의 넓이는 약 40만$\textrm{km}^2$로 주한미군이 1952년부터, 국방부가 1958년부터 관리해 오다가 1995년에 건설교통부가 공역관리 업무를 인수하였다. 우리나라의 공역(대구 FIR)에는 비행금지구역, 비행제한구역, 위험구역, 경제구역, 훈련구역, 군작전구역 등 무려 114개의 특수목적 공역이 설정되어 있어 민항공기의 운항이 자유롭지 못하다. 또한 내륙을 중심으로 14개의 접근관제규역이 설정되어 있고 각기 관할구역에 대하여 배타적인 권리를 행사함으로써 신공항건설에 따라 운항이 필요한 소요공역 확보에도 애로가 많은 실정이다. 항로는 국내항로 5개, 국제항로 11개 등 모두 16개의 항로를 운영하고 있으나 대부분 한 개의 항로를 양방향으로 운영하고 있어 교통량 처리가 어려운 실정이고 항공교통량 전체의 75%가 수도권으로 집중되는 현상이 나타나 안전도 확보에도 지장을 주고 있다. 우리나라는 군사적 특수성 때문에 군의 작전비행 활동이 상당히 많으나 관제 및 비행절차에 관한 규정을 군과 민이 각각 달리 운영하고 있는 문제점들이 있다. 금번 세미나에서는 군의 작전활동을 유지하면서 민 항공의 안전성, 경제성 등을 확보하기 위하여 1)국제민간항공기가 제정한 공역등급화(ATS Air Space Spacification)방안, 2)접근관제구역의 조정개선 방안 3)특수공역의 합리적 운영방안, 4)항로의 적선화, 복수의 일방통행 항로 확보 및 국제연결 항로의 다양한 방안, 5)군민간의 관제규정의 일원화 방안 등을 제안하고자 한다.

  • With the advent of Internet of Things (IoT), the number of devices connected to Internet has rapidly increased, but the security for IoT is still vulnerable. It is difficult to integrate existing security technologies due to generating a large amount of traffic by using different protocols to use various IoT devices according to purposes and to operate in a low power environment. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a normal network behavior profiling method based on big data analysis techniques. The proposed method utilizes a Hadoop/Hive for Big Data analytics and an R for statistical computing. Also we verify the effectiveness of the proposed method through a simulation.

Characteristics of Korean Film Market by Using Social Network Analysis (사회 연결망 분석을 이용한 국내 영화 시장의 특성 연구)

  • Recently Korean film industry has continuously experienced a rapid growth and expanded its influence to foreign countries. Accordingly, there have been numerous studies in various research areas to investigate the characteristics of the industry. In this study, we applied social network analysis based on the attributes such as genres, ratings, distributors, nationalities, sizes, and profitability to divide the movies into several clusters with respect to their similarity. Results suggested that the ratings and nationality rather than the genre are the major factors to divide the motion picture market into clusters and the profitability also varies much across the clusters. Furthermore, estimation of the diffusion model showed the positive relationship between the success of a movie and the word-of-mouth effect, while the relatively unsuccessful titles exhibited a monotonic decreasing diffusion pattern with the high initial demand and the early peak time.

  • In this paper, we propose the flexible design architecture for a continuous packet connectivity (CPC) Protocol among additional features of 3GPP HSPA+. In order to meet a practical intellectual property (IP) reuse and the developing time reduction design goals, we utterly take a CPC protocol into account to be realized by reusing digital signal processor (DSP) IP of the proven high speed packet access (HSPA) platform with the minimum hardware modification and addition. Based on the Teak series DSP, the proposed CPC protocol is divided into discontinuous transmit and receive mode, CPC manager, and interface with the proven HSPA platform. According to the regularized verification flow for wireless cellular communication applications, the proposed CPC protocol has been verified in various test scenarios.

The Experimental Study of the Ultimate Behavior of an Avalanche Tunnel Corner Rigid Joint Composited with a Centrifugal Formed Beam (초고강도 원심성형 보가 합성된 피암터널 우각부의 극한거동에 관한 실험연구)

  • In this study, in order to apply ultra-high-strength concrete beams of 100 MPa or more manufactured by centrifugal molding as the superstructure of the avalanche tunnel, the purpose is to verify the structural safety of the corner rigid joint in which the centrifugal molded beam is integrated with the substructure, which is the negative moment area. A full-size specimen was manufactured, and loading tests and analysis studies were performed. In order to expect the same effect that the maximum moment occurs in the corner joint part of the upper slab end when the standard model of the avalanche tunnel is designed with a load combination according to the specification, a modified cantilever type structural model specimen was manufactured and the corner rigid joint was fixedly connected. A study was performed to determine the performance of the method and the optimal connection construction method. The test results demonstrated that the proposed connection system outperforms others. Despite having differences in joint connection construction type, stable flexural behavior was shown in all the tested specimens. The proposed method also outperformed the behavior of centrifugally formed beams and upper slabs. The behavior of the corner rigid joint analysis model according to the F.E. analysis showed slightly greater stiffness compared to the results of the experiment, but the overall behavior was almost similar. Therefore, there is no structural problem in the construction of the corner rigid joint between the centrifugally formed beam and the wall developed in this study.

Study on Entering Improvement of Acceleration Lane onto an Expressway Using a Traffic Simulation (교통시뮬레이션을 활용한 고속도로 유입연결로 가속차로 진입 개선방안에 관한 연구)

  • The length of the acceleration lane in the area of entrance terminals is calculated based on 13 PS/ton horsepower of a cargo truck in Korea, so it is generally overestimated compared with the capacity of most vehicles traveling on an entrance ramp. Most drivers have, therefore, an indiscreet tendency to enter the main lane in all sections of an acceleration lane, which affects the traffic flow of the main lane. Because of this tendency, measures are required to minimize the impact on traffic flow of the main lane. The operating speed, rate of entrance, and traffic volume for each vehicle were investigated at the entrance terminals of the interchanges (ICs) of Yangji IC, Suseok IC, Yongin IC, and Osan IC, and the level of improvement in traffic flow was analyzed via VISSIM simulation. From the VISSIM simulation analysis, 74.0 % of the total vehicles traveled over the specified speed from the nose point where drivers would be able to recognize the traffic condition of the main carriageway, or the point at which there is a simplification of the curve section. In addition, 88.6 % of the vehicles entered the main carriageway up to 0.8 points compared with the entire length of the acceleration lane. It was subsequently found that an improvement of average speed in the main carriageway and at the entrance ramp can be achieved from 60.1 km/h to 68.5 km/h by intentionally limiting the entrance point onto the main carriageway up to 0.265 points of the entrance ramp.
