  • This paper proposes the efficiency improvement method of vvcf-induction motor drives, which operates always at rated speed, regardless of load conditions, with counter emf estimation. The counter emf is estimated by detecting the fundamental component of motor input current, which is employed in speed control algorithm through the comparison with the actual counter emf during the nonconduction interval. The input power reduction by speed control is confirmed through simulations and experimental results.

  • 본 논문에서는 DC모터(Direct Current Motor)의 슬롯(Slot)수에 따른 특성 해석에 대해 다루고자 한다. 동일한 출력을 가지는 DC모터를 서로 다른 슬롯 수를 가지는 모델로 설계하여 2D FEM(Finite Elements Method)기반의 성능분석을 실시하였다. 그래서 슬롯 수에 따른 모터의 토크, 코깅 토크, 전류, 역기전력을 분석, 비교하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 양측식 영구자석 선형 동기 전동기(Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor: 이하 PMLSM)의 전기자 분산배치를 위해 전기자에 보조치 및 Offset에 의해 나타나는 단부 코깅력을 해석하였다. 또한 가장 낮은 단부 코깅력을 가지는 Offset 위치에 대하여 역기전력을 분석하였으며 이에 따른 추력 특성에 대한 고찰을 수행하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 영구자석 동기전동기의 극수와 Slot수 조합에 따른 특성을 분석하고 비교해 보았다. 동기전동기의 극수를 8극으로 고정하고 Slot의 수를 9,12,30,42 Slot으로 설정하고, 이에 따라 Flux Line, Air Gap Flux, 토크특성, 역기전력을 각각 분석하였다. 또 사용용도에 따라 적합한 극수 Slot수 조합을 제시하였다.

  • In this paper, the design of BLDC (brushless direct current) motors based on torque and back-EMF equations was carried out to assess the application of the motor in concrete vibrators. The air gap flux density of the motor is an important parameter because the length of the motor and the size of the diameter are given. The air gap magnetic flux density was calculated through a simplified magnetic circuit, and basic design of the shape and dimensions of the motor were then determined by carrying out experiments based on torque, back-EMF, and air magnetic flux density equations. After setting the outer and inner diameters, stack lengths, and rated speed of the motor, a detailed design was performed by simulations using the finite element method by designating the diameter and thickness of the motor as the key parameters. The final design to satisfy the target torque and the lowest THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) was carried out along with a simulation.

  • In this paper, we propose a precise parameter extraction of interior permanent magnet (IPM) motors based on finite element analysis. For the calculation of the two-axis inductances Ld and Lq, the slotting effect and cross magnetization due to torque angle are considered. It is examined that back electro-motive force (BEMF) constant is affected by the magnetic saturation in different ways dependent on motor types. Numerical analyses and some measurements are performed for a spoke type and a flux barrier type IPM motors

  • This paper presents the sensorless control method that employs the adaptive back-EMF(Electromotive Force) and current model observer of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM). The estimated back EMF considering a saliency is obtained by using the adaptive control method. The estimated EMF is inputted to the current model observer which is connected in series with adaptive back EMF estimator and is used to estimate the position and speed of the rotor. In order to improve the shortcomings of conventional method using the current error components multiplied in the compensation constant, the modified instantaneous reactive power compensator is applied. The validity of the control system presented is verified by the simulation.

  • This paper propose a sensorless control system of IPMSM with a adaptive back-EMF estimator and improved instantaneous reactive power compensator. A saliency-based back-EMF is estimated by using the adaptive algorithm. The estimated back-EMF is inputted to the phase locked loop(PLL) and the improved instantaneous reactive power(IRP) compensator for estimating the position/speed of the rotor and compensating the error components between the estimated and the actual position, respectively. The stability of the proposed system is achieved through Popov's hyper stability criteria. The validity of proposed algorithm is verified by the simulations and experiments.

  • 본 논문에서는 영구자석 동기 전동기(PMSM)의 수학적 모델을 기반으로 한 플라이휠 에너지 저장 시스템을 매트랩/시뮬링크를 사용하여 모델링 하였다. PMSM의 센서리스 벡터 제어를 위해 속도 및 전류 제어기를 구현하였으며, PI형 상태 관측기를 이용한 역기전압 추정기와 PLL 기반의 위치/속도 추정기를 구현하였다. 초기 기동시 역기전압 추정기반 센서리스 제어 방식은 회전자의 위치를 정확히 추종 할 수 없어 Open-Loop 알고리즘을 통하여 동기 전동기를 구동시킨다. 플라이휠 에너지 저장 시스템의 센서리스 제어 알고리즘은 충전 모드와 발전 모드에서의 시뮬레이션을 통해 성능을 확인하였다.
