  • Brushless DC motor(BLDCM) are suitable to operate in a wide speed range, easy to control and since there are no mechanical brushes and commutators, require low maintenance costs and are free from restrictions of application environment. And since the ratio of instantaneous torque and rated torque is high, BLDCM are appropriate for variable speed operation. This paper proposes the optimal model by using Matlab/simulink based on modelling and characteristic analysis of trapezoidal back EMF type BLDCM and verifies the validity of the proposed model by applying control systems.

  • This paper describes a new method of detecting rotor position in switched reluctance motor(SRM), Some strategies of position sensorless control methods for the motor include the measurement of phase current and applied pulse voltage in an unexcited phase. The principle of the estimation of a rotor position is based on the detection of inductance by pulse currents. This sensorless method is very simple to compute rotor position estimation and gives efficient control of drive system. Suggested method is verified by some experimental tests.

진동전원과 평골전원으로 운전되는 동기전동기 특성 비교에 관한 이론적 해석

  • Thyristor inverter로 구동되는 동기전동기의 특성 해석을 직류기로서 취급하기 위하여 등가회로로 유도하였고 브러쉬축및 이에 직교하는 축인 .gamma.축 및 .delta.축의 전압 $v_{\gamma}$, $v_{\delta}$에 평골전원과 맥동전원이 인가될 경우 각각의 동기전동기의 특성변화를 구하였다. 그 결과 맥동전압으로 인한 전자기 권선에 흐르는 고주파전류는 인가전원 주파수에 6배되는 진동토오크가 발생함을 알 수 있었다. 이 맥동토오크의 평균치는 정현파 전원 구동시와 거의 동일하게 되나 전동기의 관성 크기에 따라 난조현상에 미치는 영향을 고려해야 할 것으로 나타났다. 끝으로 120 .deg. 유통형 및 180 .deg. 유통형 inverter구동에 따른 동기전동기의 토오크 특성이 각각 타여자 직류전동기 특성및 정출력 특성이 됨을 밝혀내었다.었다.었다.

  • 최근 정부의 녹색성장(Green Growth) 정책으로 대규모의 풍력발전소 단지가 배전계통에 적극적으로 도입, 운용되고 있다. 풍력발전기의 대표적인 타입 중에 DFIG(Doubly-Fed Induction Generation)는 MSC와 GSC라는 2가지 요소로 구성된다. MSC(Machine-Side Converter)는 발전량을 이용하여 발전기의 토크 또는 회전속도를 제어하며, 발전기에 여자 전류를 공급함으로써 고정자에서 유입되는 무효전력 제어를 담당한다. 그리고 GSC(Grid-Side Converter)는 전력변환 장치의 직류단 전압을 제어하고, GSC와 배전계통 사이의 무효전력도 제어한다. 본 논문에서는 상기의 이론을 바탕으로 PSCAD/EMTDC를 이용한 DFIG 모델링을 수행하여, 다양한 Simulation으로 모델링의 유효성을 확인하였다.

  • One of the merits of superconducting magnet system is that it has persistent current mode, in which the current can be constant without any external power supply. The problem is that when we energize the magnet we can not reach the target current with constant current source, in principle. It needs another energization methods, in which it can be energized with reasonable accuracy and time. This paper suggests two energization methods for a superconducting magnet with persistnet current mode and the comparisons of the two are made with respect to the accuracy and the time.

  • This paper covers starting characteristics and design of wound motor induction rmtor can used to double excited induction mootor. They are employing in many electrical equiprrent system of industrial field The stator is satre as that of conventional induction motor. But rotor was rewind with new style, as result both of starting torque and operating efficiency could be high, But starting current could be small. Could obtain the satre result as that of conventional induction rmtor with external resistance on the rotor. The structure could be simple, system cost could be low and the maintanence free, Because of no slip rings, no brushes and no external resistance.stance.

  • Convential inrush current detection method is used to harmonic restraint method by filtered second frequency component. Nowadays this technique must be modified because harmonics are occurred in steady state of power system. A purpose of this study is to develop of inrush current detection relaying algorithm for power transformer based on flux-current derivative curve method. We used the relaying signals obtained from EMTP simulation.

  • We have presented a 2-dimensional fluxgate sensor with ferrite core, excitation, and pick-up coil. This fluxgate sensor system consists of a sensing element, driving circuits for excitation coil and signal processing for detecting second harmonic frequency component which is proportional to the DC magnetic to be measured. The sensor core is excited by a square waveform of voltage through the excitation coil of 80 turns. The second harmonic output of pick-up coil(x and y axis: 100 turns) is measured by FFT spectrum analyzer. This result is compared with output of PSD(phase sensitive detector) unit for detecting the second harmonic component. The measured maximum sensitivity is about 1580 V/T at driving frequency of 1.5 kHz and excitation current of 2 App. The nonlinearity of this system is measured about 2.3%(PSD) and about 1%(second harmonics of the pick-up). The angle error of the system is ${\pm}2$ %/FS.

A Study on the Response Characteristics of a High Speed Solenoid (고속 솔레노이드의 응답특성에 관한 연구)

  • The studies on the electronic control fuel injection system for a DI diesel engine have done for reducing the exhaust emission and improving fuel consumption. The electronic control fuel injection system is classified into a common rail system, a unit injector system and a high pressure injection system. The characteristics of these systems are largely depends on the operating characteristics of its solenoid that have high speed on-off operation. In order to improve these characteristics of fuel injection system, it is necessary to design the optimal shape of solenoid and select the input method of its power source. It was proposed HELENOID, COLENOID, DISOLE, and Multipole Solenoid in the studies of design for the optimal shape of solenoid. The studies on the energizing method, input method for power of solenoid were dealt with the conventional energizing method, the chopping method and the pre-energizing method. In order to find out the high response characteristics of solenoid, it is necessary to test the performance of optimally designed solenoid with a new energizing method. In this paper, the solenoid of multi-pole type with plat armature and its power control unit to control input current by the chopping method designed, and its response tests were performed according to its energizing conditions. As a result, the maximum input current for solenoid was controlled by the period of first stage exciting current and chopping duty ratio of control stage exciting current, and the fastest "on" time was able to get 0.46ms. The conditions of fastest "on" time was 0.3ms for first stage exciting current, 0.16ms for control exciting current and 75% for chopping duty ratio.

A study on how to discriminate the polarities of stator windings for 3 phase induction motors by using induced voltages based on residual magnetism (잔류자기 유도 기전력을 이용한 3상유도전동기 권선의 극성 판별법에 관한 연구)

  • To discriminate polarities of stator windings for 3 phase induction motors terminal tags of which are not readable, it is possible to utilize the residual magnetic flux present at their rotors as well as to use the way based on external exciting current. The induced voltages are basically decided by parameters such as the quantity of residual flux, the rotator speed by hand force and the phase properties between stator windings. To adopt induced voltages by residual flux for polarity discrimination at sites, the measured voltages by multi-testers need to be readable in magnitude enough to discriminate winding condition with reasonable phase characteristics. This study focuses on the analysis of various connection cases in the expectation that the summing voltages induced by residual flux shall show zero in case of normal connections while the sum becomes greater indication if the connection is in wrong condition. The proposed method is applied to actual motors to disclose how effective it is for polarity discrimination at sites through comparison of output signals between normal and fault connections.
