This study quantitatively analyzed the speeches of the former 8 Presidents of the Republic of Korea. Unlike the previous studies, this study analyzed both the content word and the functional word related to the psychological phenomenon. In Study 1, six language style indicators such as clout, authenticity, presidentiality, cognitive complexity, femininity, and psychological health were developed. Also, as presidential speeches have been made recently, authenticity, presidentiality, psychological health tended to increase, but cognitive complexity tended to decrease. These tendencies were supported by linear trend analysis. The linguistic differences were distinct not only among individual presidents but also by groups based on the political orientation of the president. In the progressive presidential speech, more clout, cognitive complexity, femininity were observed. In contrast, more authenticity and presidentiality were observed in the conservative presidential speech. In Study 2, it was demonstrated whether the developed language style indicators show reliability in the most recent President's speeches. Finally, it was discussed that the relationship between language style indicators, fitness of the political tendency between the regime and the general public since 2000s, and the characteristics of femininity indicator.

사회활동을 왕성히 펼치는 여성들이 흔히 쓰는 말 중에‘유리천장(glass ceiling)’이라는 말이 있다. 위를 쳐다보면 한 없이 올라갈 수 있을 것같지만 막상 그 곳에 다다르면 보이지 않는 장벽이 머리를 누른다는 뜻이다. 법이나 규정상으로는 평등이 이루어진 것처럼 보이나‘실제상황’은 그렇지 않음을 의미하는 자조적인 말이다. 특히 국내에서 회사를 경영하는 여성CEO라면 누구나‘유리천장’의 도를 넘어‘콘크리트 천장’, 혹은 이보다 더한‘강철천장’을 실감하게 된다. 그러나 이런 사회적인 편견과 제도적인 불평등 속에서도 자신만의 확고한 입지와 영역을 구축하며 벤처를 이끄는 당당한 여성CEO가 점점 늘고 있다. 서버판매 및 서버호스팅, VPN 등 사업으로 성장일로를 걷고 있는 e-Business 전문업체인 씨앤에스 김태희(46) 대표가 그 대표적인 우먼파워에 속한다. 김 대표는 지난해‘제6회 여성경제인의 날’을 맞아 모범여성기업으로 선정되어‘대통령 표창’을 수상하는 등 여성기업분야 우수중소기업으로 탄탄한 기술력과 탁월한 경영능력을 인정받고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 그는 IT업계의 성공 키워드인 기술과 경영, 마케팅의 삼박자를 고루 갖춘 전문 경영인으로도 유명하다.

대통령 직속의 국가과학기술자문위원중 유일한 여성위원으로 활약하고 있는 이화여대 물리학과 모혜정교수. 모교수는 이화여대 재직중 공과대학을 설립하는데 주도적 역할을 했으며 6년동안 자연과학대학장과 대학원장을 맡아 지도력과 행정력을 발휘했다. 모교수는 남편인 서울대 물리학과 장회익교수와 함께 과학가문을 이루고 있다.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the role of political image and the phenomenon of fashion politics on the style of women presidents, with focus on the President of Argentina, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner. The results of the study were as follows. First, the political image of President Cristina Fernandez is identified with the second image of Eva Peron and Kirchnerismo, in terms of political issues. Second, fashion style includes the power and sexy images of glamour style that emphasizes the body line of suits and dress form. Vivid colors and black fashion reflects the Kirchner government's charisma and identity. Fernandez's iconic Rolex watches, expensive jewelry, and luxury accessories such as brooches that replicate Eva Peron's brooch were instrumental in forming a second image of Eva Peron. Third, the phenomenon of fashion politics appeared to equate the phenomenon of recreating the image of Eva Peron with displays of power and wealth for the successor to Kirchnerismo.

본 연구에서는 여성복지정책 개념이 갖는 지향성에 따라 노무현 정부 여성복지정책과 김대중 정부 여성복지정책을 비교함으로써 노무현 정부 여성복지정책의 성격 규명을 시도하였다. 부녀복지정책에서 여성복지정책으로 개념이 진일보한 1990년대 이후 여성복지정책은 일반 여성을 대상으로 한 정책이라는 막연한 이미지 전달을 시도하였다. 그러나 이같은 여성복지정책 개념은 여성복지정책이 추구하는 사회적 기능의 회복, 인간다운 삶 등이 무엇을 의미하는지 추상적인 나열을 하는 데 그침으로써 성차별 문제를 희석시키는 한계를 보인다. 따라서 김대중 정부 이후 대중적 차원에서 자리매김을 확고히해 가고 있는 여성복지정책의 성격이 좁은 의미에서 복지 문제와 넓은 의미에서 성차별 문제 중 어느쪽에 비중을 두면서 변화해 가고 있는지 혹은 변화해 가야 하는지 등에 대만 분석과 전망을 제대로 제시할 수 없는 제한점을 갖는다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 사회복지정책의 한 영역으로서 '여성복지'를 보는 여성복지정책과 '여성정책'의 한 영역으로서 '여성복지'를 보는 여성복지정책의 차원에서 김대중 정부와 노무현 정부 여성복지정책에 대한 논의를 전개하였다. 김대중 정부 출범 이후 여성복지정책의 변화 양상은 어떠한가? 여성복지정책과 여성복지정책 중 어떤 차원으로의 변화가 두드러진다고 볼 수 있나? 김대중 정부 여성복지정책 기조가 노무현 정부에서 계승되는 양상은 어떠한가? 노무현 정부 여성복지정책 기조는 여성복지정책과 여성복지정책 중 어느 것이 될 것인가? 김대중 정부 출범 이후 사회보험을 중심으로 일어난 변화는 여성복지정책이 전통적인 부녀복지정책 개념에서 탈피하는 양상을 잘 보여주고 있다고 알 수 있다. 또한 여성의 소득 수준 향상 등 여성복지정책적 측면에서 변화를 관찰할 수 있다. 그러나 여성복지정책적 성격을 드러낼 만큼 여성복지정책이 성차별 문제 해소에 중점을 두었다고 보기는 어렵다. 게다가 공공부조에서는 성차별 문제나 복지 문제 중 어느 것에 초점을 둔 정책 방향의 일관성을 발견하기 힘들다. 대통령 공약 사항을 중심으로 살펴본 노무현 정부 여성복지정책은 사회보험 대상자 확대라는 측면에서 여성복지정책적 차원의 단초를 보이고 있으니, 정색 기조는 김대중 정부의 여성복지정책 흐름을 계승하고 있다. 그러나 노무현 정부 출범 이후 관찰할 수 있는 정색 환경의 변화로서 여성부 기능 강화와 급격한 인구학적 변동을 고려할 때 정책 추진 주체 변화를 전제로 한 여성복지정책 강화를 예측해 볼 수 있다.

The US presidential primaries take place sequentially in different places with a time lag. However, they have not attracted as much attention in terms of modelling as the US presidential election has. This study applied several autologistic models to find the relation between the outcome of the primary election for a Democrat candidate with socioeconomic attributes in consideration of spatial and temporal dependence. According to the result applied to the 2016 election data at the county level, Hillary Clinton was supported by people in counties with high population rates of old age, Black, female and Hispanic. In addition, spatial dependence was observed, representing that people were likely to support the same candidate who was supported from neighboring counties. Positive auto-correlation was also observed in the time-series of the election outcome. Among several autologistic models of this study, the model specifying the effect of Super Tuesday had the best fit.
