농어촌연구원 국제융합수리시험센터 현장실습 교육프로그램(HIGH Center ACE+) 체험후기

  • 2023년 1학기(2023년 3월 2일~2023년 6월 20일) 동안 한국농어촌공사 농어촌연구원 국제융합수리시험센터(안산)에서 현장실습을 한것을 바탕으로 후기를 작성하였다. 현재 농어촌연구원은 농어촌 지역개발, 수자원의 효율적 이용과 관리, 농업 신기술 교육, 스마트팜 기술 보급, 친환경 농업, 남북협력 사업 등 농어업인의 환경 개선과 올바른 정책 방향성을 제시하기 위하여 다양한 분야의 연구를 수행하는 공공기관이다. 이번 현장실습을 경험한 국제융합수리시험센터는 1959년에 국내 최초로 수리모형실험을 시작하였으며, 2018년 대형 실험시설이 추가 증축되어 규모나 시설(장비) 측면에서 국내는 물론 세계 최상위 수준의 인프라를 보유하고 있다. 또한 댐, 하천, 해양, 신재생에너지 등과 관련하여 다수의 실험 실적 보유하고 있어 수 공학 분야의 국가경쟁력 강화에 견인하고 있다. 이번 현장실습은 수리실험 이론 교육, 실험장비 교육, 실험실습, 안전교육으로 구성되어 있다. 교육프로그램(HIGH Center ACE+)에 따른 학교에서 배운 전공 이론을 수리실험 분야에 어떻게 적용할 수 있는지 직접 실습하면서 배울 수 있었다. 4개월간 현장실습 교육프로그램에 참여하면서 수리실험 등 수공학 분야의 다양한 경험을 할 수 있었고, 이는 향후 전공과 관련된 직장을 준비하는 데 많은 도움이 될 것으로 생각된다.

[앙케이트] 디젤, 디젤 택시.. 이제 어색하지 않아요

  • 한국로버트보쉬 디젤사업부가 지난 2008년부터 실시해 온 승용차 이용 실태 및 디젤 소비자 인식 조사는 2014년에 4회째 조사되었다. 디젤 엔진의 '친환경성'에 대한 인식 변화는 크지 않으나, '연비 효율성'에 대한 인식이 강화되면서 디젤에 대한 긍정적 인식 및 태도의 변화가 크게 나타난 것으로 판단된다. 이전 조사 결과의 특징 중의 하나는 '디젤' 자체에 대한 소비자의 긍정적 태도 개선 정도가 크게 나타났으며, 특히 '구입 의향이 증가'하는 등 실질적 소비 태도로 연결될 수 있는 index의 개선은 의미 있는 변화로 보여 고무적인 현상이다. 아울러, 재미 있는 결과는 '클린디젤 용어에 대한 인지도, 클린디젤 자동차 호감도, 클린 디젤 자동차 구입의향'에 대한 결과다. 이 항목들에 대해 '08년 11월부터 '12년 1월까지 증가하는 경향을 보였으나, '14년 2월 조사에서 다시 감소하는 경향이 나타난 것인데 이는 '디젤'이란 용어에 대한 긍정적인 인식이 크게 증가하여, 클린디젤이란 용어 자체의 의미가 무색해진 것으로 클린디젤이란 용어보다는 디젤 그 자체로 깨끗하고 친환경적인 연료로 인식된다고 할 수 있겠다. 2014년 조사는 2008년 이래 4회 차 조사로 한국갤럽조사연구소를 통해 진행 되었으며, 지난 2월 14일부터 3월 15일까지 전국 6대 도시(서울, 인천, 부산, 대구, 대전, 광주)에 거주하고 있는 만 20세 이상, 59세 이하의 남녀 자가 운전자 1,007명을 대상으로 지역별/성별/연령별 할당 추출법(Purposive Quota Sampling)과 개별면접 조사 방법(Face-to-Face Interview)으로 진행되었고, 95% 의 신뢰수준에 +/- 3% 오차범위를 가지고 있다.

  • This paper describes the first-year accomplishments in the R'||'&'||'D project entitled, "Electrodeless Fluorescent Lamp Technology Using High-Frequency Discharges (Linear and Circular Type)," supported by a contract from the Korea Energy Management Corporation (KEMCO). One of the most important accomplishments in the prihect is that the luminance of electrodeless fluorescent lamps is increased more than 25% when the hybrid technique of capacitive and inductive couplings is utilized for both linear and circular types of high-frequency discharge fluorescent lamps compared to the case where pure capacitive couplings are used. We present the results of the experiments and the status of the development efforts in the project.t.

A Study on the Effect of the Urban Regeneration Project on the Reduction of Carbon Emission - A Case Study of Jeonju Test-Bed - (도시재생사업 적용에 따른 탄소저감 효과 - 전주TB지역을 대상으로 -)

  • This study mainly focuses on urban regeneration project as a countermeasure to resolve climate change issues by analyzing the carbon-reduction effect of Jeonju test-bed cases. First, an urban regeneration project is designed for city, Jeonju by analyzing its environmental problems and potential improvement. Then, carbon emission and reduction amounts are evaluated for different businesses and scenarios. Carbon emission sources are classified according to a standard suggested by IPCC, and the emissions are calculated by various standard methods. The result shows that carbon emission amount in Jeonju test-bed is 102,149 tCO2eq. The fact that 70% of the emission from energy sector originates from buildings implies that urban regeneration projects can concentrate on building portions to effectively reduce carbon emission. It is also projected carbon emission will decrease by 3,826tCo2eq in 2020 compared to 2011, reduction mainly based on overall population and industry shrinkage. When urban regeneration projects are applied to 5 urban sectors (urban environment, land use, green transportation, low carbon energy, and green buildings) total of 10,628tCO2eq is reduced and 4,857tCO2 (=15.47%) when only applied to the green building sector. Moreover, different carbon reduction scenarios are set up to meet each goal of different sectors. The result shows that scenario A, B, and C each has 5%, 11%, and 15% of carbon reduction, respectively. It is recommended to apply scenario B to achieve 11% reduction goal in a long term. Therefore, this research can be a valuable guideline for planning future urban regeneration projects and relative policies by analyzing the present urban issues and suggesting improvement directions.

  • 전력산업의 환경변화에 따라 단일 공급자였던 한전을 비롯하여 전력판매사업자, 민간부하사업자, 에너지컨설팅사업자 등 에너지관련 서비스를 제공하는 주체자(이하 ESP : Energy Service Provider)의 참여로 전력시장이 경쟁체제로의 변화가 예상된다. 이러한 주체는 전력에너지 관리 최적화를 위한 수요측의 전력자원과 정보의 통합관리가 필요하다. 또한 수요측 서비스 개선과 동시에 수익을 창출할 수 있는 부가 서비스의 개발이 또한 요구될 것이다. 최근 석유가격의 지속적인 상승으로 도매시장가격은 더욱 증가할 것으로 예상된다. 현재 우리나라는 CBP 형태의 전력시장에서 시간대별로 변하는 전력가격(SMP)에 의하여 시장가격이 정해진다. 따라서 시장가격이 높아지면 높아질수록 전력을 구입하고 있는 전력사업자의 경우 구입비의 증가로 재무 건전성 확보에 악영향을 초래한다. 따라서 효율적인 전력 수요절감을 통해 구입전력비를 절감할 수 있는 신수요관리 기법이 필요하다. 이러한 신수요관리 기법은 국가적으로는 하계수급비상 해소와 신규 건설비용 및 혼잡비용을 회피하고, 전력사업자는 구입전력비의 절감을 통해 전력도매시장가격의 안정을 도모할 수 있다. 이러한 수요절감 기법 중 수요측의 자율적인 참여 및 반응을 기반으로 하는 수요반응(Demand Response, 이하 DR)이 있으며, 이는 전력사업자와 수요 측 전력부하설비와의 양방향 통신 및 제어 인프라 구축이 필요하다. 본 논문은 이러한 DR운영에서 반드시 필요한 수요측 전력부하설비와의 양방향 통신 및 제어 인프라구축에 대한 방법 및 결과를 제시하고자 한다.

  • Our study identifies a cost and a benefit incurred in implementing an investment project to offer new public services by use of food waste disposers and direct input of feces in sewers. This is done with identifying costs of each processing division and benefits of the project by objective statistical data and engineering perspective. In summary, cost items identified are as follows: there are house laterals, removal of septic tanks, etc. for sewer pipes system. As to water quality conservation, cost incurs in storm water outfalls and divert chambers, sewage storage tanks, equipment to treat sewer overflows, and so on. With respect to sewage treatment plants(STPs), there are so many items as increase of contaminant loads in influent of STPs, and other items. There are benefit items in health improvement due to odor mitigation, increase of energy productivity, saving cost of food waste treatment and cleaning septic tanks, etc. These estimates will be used as a basic data for its economic effect.

  • Accessibility is the generalized definition on how ease of access. Accessibility is used to appraise transportation project such as capturing the quality of the existing state of the transportation system at diverse spatial levels, It also reflects on the effect of improvements to the existing travel modes and the intoduction of new modes. The overall goal of this study is to propose a measure of urban accessibility in Seoul which can analyze various behavior of travelers in the city and to present applications. In this study, we apply measures of accessibility which are developed by CTR(The Center for Transportation Research, the University of Texas at Austin) to construct the urban accessibility index applicable for explaining trip behavior in Seoul. We evaluate sustainability of urban transport system in Seoul in 2002 by using the MAG(Modal Accessibility GaP) index which is developed to measure the accessibility gap between the more energy-efficient mode and less energy-efficient mode of transport. By analyzing the change of MAG index between 2002 and 2004 based on network data, we show how the public transportation system reform affect the sustainability in transport system.

A Study of Improvement on Estimation Methodology of Carbon Storage amount by Damaged Trees for Environmental Impact Assessment (환경영향평가 온실가스 항목 내 훼손수목의 탄소저장량 평가 개선을 위한 제언)

  • We deduced the proper estimation methodology for the amount of carbon sequestration by damaged trees for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). The nine development projects related to renewable energy, damaged trees occur, assessment status and used method of evaluating the carbon storage of damaged trees were summarized. And after re-calculating the carbon storage of damaged trees through allometric equations, the difference between the two groups, re-calculated the damaged trees carbon storage and the damaged trees carbon storage in the report, was validated. As a result, damaged trees carbon storage in words was more than the re-calculated damaged trees carbon storage, and it was statistically significant (p<0.005). This result means that the existing method for calculating damaged tree carbon storage is overcalculated. It was judged that it was necessary to improve the calculation method. Therefore, allometric equations suitable for each dominated-tree species should be used when calculating the damaged tree carbon storage. Furthermore, we propose to establish a carbon storage calculation system based on actual data from the ecosystem so that researchers can efficiently and accurately the damaged trees carbon storage.

  • Purpose : Currently, 25% of the domestic energy consumption structure is used as building energy, and more than 18% of this energy is consumed in the residential. Accordingly, various efforts and policies that can save energy of the building is being performed. The various researchers are conducting research to diagnose the thermal performance of existing buildings. This study is to apply in the field of precision thermal insulation performance diagnostic method for thermal performance analysis of existing detached house in Seoul, Gangreung, Gyeongju, Pohang. And this paper is analyzed quantitatively measure the existing detached house energy performance. Method: Research methodology analyzed the thermal performance over the Heat Flow Meter method by applying the measurement process and method by applying the criteria of ISO 9869-1 & ASTR method. In this study, the surface heat transfer coefficient was calibrated by applying indoor surface heat transfer resistance with reference to ISO 6946 standard. The measurement error rate between the HFM diagnosis method and the ASTR diagnosis method was reduced and the measurement reliability was obtained through measurement method error verification. Result : As a result of the study, the thermal performance vulnerable parts of the building were quantitatively analyzed, and presented for methods which can be improved capable of efficient energy use buildings.

A Study on Selection of and Priority on Assessment Indicators in Green Logistics : Focused on Ports and Inland Hub Terminals (녹색물류를 위한 탄소저감정책 평가항목 우선순위에 관한 연구 - 항만 및 물류거점을 중심으로 -)

  • Green logistics is regarded as an inevitable global trend in the 21st century. It can be accomplished through more broad and active reverse logistics globally, resulting in use of less fossil fuels, finally reducing carbon dioxide and other pollutants. Many countries such as U.S., Japan, EU nations have already set up policies related to carbon reduction, so-called 'green policies.' This paper aims to identify evaluation criteria for logistics policies and relative importance among those criteria, especially in the field of ports and in-land hub terminals. We examined projects related to carbon reduction from domestic and foreign ports and logistics centers and found evaluation factors and assessment indicators. With pre-evaluative items and pre-assessment indicators, we have done a survey and selected evaluation factors and assessment indicators for ports and inland hub terminals in Korea. By analyzing the mutual importance of each pre-evaluative items and pre-assessment indicators related to carbon reduction policies, this research provides guidelines on selecting the key items for the propulsion of carbon reduction projects. This study shows the importance of preliminary evaluation items and indexes with AHP in evaluating carbon reduction policies and the result shows the restrictions and change in transportation and use of alternative fuels. Lastly, it provides a guideline to policy-makers and firm managers in the field of green logistics.
