플로팅 건축의 출현배경과 유형구분 기준

  • 플로팅건축물은 최근 지구온난화에 따른 해수면의 상승, 소득 증대 및 관광행태 변화에 따라 급증한 해양 레포츠 수요에 대응하는 효과적인 건축물이다. 플로팅건축은 프로그램, 형태, 건축규모, 층수, 위치, 접근방법, 이동성, 에너지 자립도 등 8가지 기준에 따라 유형 구분이 가능하다. 또한 시공된 주거시설을 대상으로 분석한 결과 플로팅건축의 디자인 특성은 (1) 2층 규모, (2) 면적 비율이 높은 데크, (3) 장방형의 균형감 있는 매스, (4) 조망 극대화, (5) 친수공간 확보, (6) 공간의 통합적 사용 및 합리적 면적 배분의 평면계획, (7) 수면 반사를 고려한 단면계획, (8) 모듈화 및 유닛화 등으로 정리할 수 있다.

Effects of U.S. Inventory and OPEC Production on Crude Oil Price (미국 재고량과 OPEC 생산량이 국제원유가격 변동에 미치는 영향분석)

  • Since changes in crude oil price exert colossal influence upon most national economy, it is important to investigate about factors that cause the change through an appropriate crude oil price forecast. This paper examines the relationship among crude oil price, OPEC production and U.S. inventory using cointegration and error correction model. We found that crude oil price is likely to increase significantly for a given decrease in not only the OPEC production but also the U.S. inventory. Furthermore, we found that crude oil price is more elastic with respect to OPEC production in the short-run, and more elastic with respect to U.S. inventory in the long-run. Moreover, in the long-run, U.S. inventory have more an effect on crude oil price than OPEC production. Finally, crude oil price adjusts to their respective long-run equilibrium at a moderate speed, about 12% of adjustment taking place in the first year.

  • 태풍은 단시간동안 인류활동에 막대한 영향력을 미치는 저기압 시스템 중 하나로 인류에 중요한 수자원을 공급하여 물 부족 현상을 해소하거나, 열대해역에 축적된 과잉 에너지를 수송하여 에너지 균형을 유지하고, 해양 및 대기 정화로 인한 생태계를 활성화하는 긍정적인 면과 육지에 상륙함에 따라 심한 강풍과 폭우를 동반하여 인적 경제적 피해를 주는 부정적인 면을 동시에 지니고 있는 중요한 대기현상이다(Lee, 2006; Wang, 2010; Xu, 2013; Delphine et al., 2013). 2002년 루사, 2003년 매미, 2012년 볼라벤, 2013년 하이옌 그리고 2016년 차바와 같이 세력이 강한 태풍으로 인해 동아시아 지역은 매년 막대한 인명 및 재산피해가 야기되고 있는 실정임에 따라, 태풍으로 인한 재해를 최소화하고 태풍이 가지는 긍정적인 혜택을 적극 활용하기 위해서는 태풍의 활동 및 호우 예측 및 경향성에 대해 보다 정량적인 연구가 필요하다(Oh et al., 2011; Kim and Jain, 2011; Li and Zhou, 2012; Son et al., 2013). 따라서, 본 연구에서는 Son et al.(2014)이 제시한 태풍의 경로 및 규모를 고려한 태풍 추출기법을 적용하여 한반도에 영향을 미친 태풍 및 태풍강우를 추출하였으며, 이를 과거 1977-1994년(Period 1)과 1995-2012년(Period 2) 두 기간으로 분류하였다. 또한, 태풍의 최대풍속을 기준으로 3단계(35-64kt, 65-94kt, 95kt이상)로 구분하여 과거 시기별 태풍 활동(최대풍속, 최소중심기압, 발생빈도, 발생지점, 전향점, 경로) 특성을 분석하고, 과거 시기별 태풍강우(시간 최대 태풍강우량, 총 태풍 강우량)의 변화 분석을 수행하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후, 태풍과 관련하여 수질개선 및 수자원확보 등과 같은 태풍 활용방안과 태풍 피해저감을 위한 치수대책 수립 등에 대한 기초자료로 활용가능하며, 기후변화로 인해 야기될 수 있는 태풍의 활동 및 강우 특성 변화를 파악하는 데 이용가능 할 것으로 판단된다.

Is Carbon Neutral Policy Compatible with Sustainable Economic Growth? (탄소중립은 지속가능한 경제성장과 양립하는가?)

  • Carbon neutral policy in Korea pays limited attention to the concept of sustainable economic growth. This limitation can be compared with other countries' carbon neutral policies such as US, UK and China where the climate change policies are closely connected to economic policies to boost further economic growth. This paper adopts a Ramsey growth model to account for the impact of carbon neutral policy on long-term economic growth and the accumulation capital. The model incorporates the Hartwick rule to allow sustainability of economic growth by transforming resource input into other input factor for growth. The analysis provides a possibility of low accumulation of capital as a result of carbon neutral policy in the absence of effective transformation of fossil-fuel factor into growth-related productive capital. Such low capital stock can be more aggravated when there exists a rent-seeking behavior of various interest groups with voracity to exploit social capital.

Influence of Dietary Protein and Feeding Pattern on the Weight Gain, Metabolism and Body Composition of Rats (식이단백질과 급식형태가 흰쥐의 성장, 대사 및 체조성에 미치는 영향)

  • A series of growing and digestion trials was conducted using Sprague- Dawley weanling male rats in order to determine the effects of two protein sources (casein and ISP (isolated soyprotein) ), three protein levels (10, 20 and 30%), and two feeding patterns (ad libitum and meal feeding) on the growth, protein and energy metabolism, and body composition of rats. The total energy level of experimental diets was kept constant in 3,600 kcal ME /kg diet. The results were as follows : 1) The amount of food intake and the weight gain of meal-fed group were lower than those of ad libitum group. Though the intake of meal-fed group on 20 and 30% casein diet was only 85% of ad libitum group, it was able to gain as much as ad libitum group. 2) There were no significant differences in the food efficiency ratio (FER) and the energy efficiency (weight gain per 100 kcal GE intake) between ad libitum and meal feeding group. The FER and the energy efficiency of 20 and 30% casein diets of meal-fed group were greater than those of ad libitum group. 3) Though the gross energy intake (GE ), the digestible energy (DE) and the metabolizable energy (ME) tended to be lower at meal-fed group, the DE/GE and the ME/GE ratios for meal-fed group were the same as those for ad libitum. 4) Though meal- fed group fed less amount of nitrogen than ad libitum group, there were no differences in nitrogen balance and the retention of rats among the treatments. Actually meal-fed group retained more nitrogen than ad libitum group at the levels of 20 and 30% dietary protein. 5) After growing and digestion trials, the body composition of rats was constant among all treatments. Significantly high negative correlation coefficient (r = -0.77) was found between the body fat content and the body moisture content. Consequently, this study suggests that meal- fed group on 20 and 30% casein diets has shown more effective utilization of the ingested food and energy than ad libitum group, and increasing tendency of weight gain and the body fat deposition. Those influences of meal feeding pattern in rats were more effective on the casein diet than on the ISP diet.

A Study on Policy Trends and Location Pattern Changes in Smart Green-Related Industries (스마트그린 관련 산업의 정책동향과 입지패턴 변화 연구)

  • Digital transformation industry contributes to the improvement of productivity in overall industrial production, the smart green industry for carbon neutrality and sustainable growth is growing as a future industry. The purpose of this paper is to explore the status and role of the industry in the future industry innovation ecosystem through the analysis of the growth drivers and location pattern changes of the smart green industry. The industry is on the rise in both metropolitan and non-metropolitan areas, and the growth of the industry can be seen in non-metropolitan and non-urban areas. In particular, due to the smart green industrial complex pilot project, the creation of Gwangju Jeonnam Innovation City, and the promotion of new and renewable energy policies, the emergence of core aggregation areas (HH type) in the coastal areas of Honam and Chungcheongnam-do, and the formation of isolated centers (HL type) in the Gyeongsang region, new and renewable energy production companies are being accumulated in non-metropolitan areas. Therefore, the smart green industry is expected to promote the formation of various specialized spokes in non-urban areas in the future industrial innovation ecosystem that forms a multipolar hub-spoke network structure, where policy factors are the triggers for growth.

Analysis of Power System Stability by Deployment of Renewable Energy Resources (재생에너지원 보급에 따른 전력계통 안정도 분석)

  • Growing demand for electricity, when combined with the need to limit carbon emissions, drives a huge increase in renewable energy industry. In the electric power system, electricity supply always needs to be balanced with electricity demand and network losses to maintain safe, dependable, and stable system operation. There are three broad challenges when it comes to a power system with a high penetration of renewable energy: transient stability, small signal stability, and frequency stability. Transient stability analyze the system response to disturbances such as the loss of generation, line-switching operations, faults, and sudden load changes in the first several seconds following the disturbance. Small signal stability refers to the system's ability to maintain synchronization between generators and steady voltages when it is subjected to small perturbations such as incremental changes in system load. Frequency stability refers to the ability of a power system to maintain steady frequency following a severe system upset resulting in significant imbalance between generation and load. In this paper, we discusses these stability using system simulation by renewable energy deployment plan, and also analyses the influence of the renewable energy sources to the grid stability.

Effect of Work-Life Balance(WLB) and Superior Trust on Workplace Happiness and Organizational Commitment (일과 생활의 균형(WLB)과 상사신뢰가 직장행복감 및 조직몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is to study the overall structural relationship between work-life balance(WLB), superior trust, workplace happiness, and organizational commitment. The goal of this study is to study how WLB and superior trust affect workplace happiness, how workplace happiness affects organizational commitment, and the mediating effect of workplace happiness. Survey data were collected from incumbents working in large companies and SMEs, validity and reliability of research items were reviewed, and research hypotheses were tested using path analysis. As a result of testing the research hypothesis, WLB and superior trust have a positive (+) effect on workplace happiness, and workplace happiness has a positive (+) effect on organizational commitment. Also, job satisfaction plays a role as a partial parameter between WLB, superior trust, and organizational commitment. Based on the hypothesis test results, it was confirmed that the higher the level of WLB and superior trust, the higher the level of work satisfaction. Based on the research results, a plan was suggested for Korean corporate members to achieve workplace happiness and organizational commitment.

  • With increasing airtight building construction aimed at reducing energy consumption, indoor relative humidity is increasing which can lead to condensation and moisture damage in multi-family residential buildings. This has led to increased implementation of mechanical ventilation to control indoor moisture. However mechanical ventilation systems consume additional energy and generate noise. As this leads to occupant discomfort, it is necessary to select a ventilation system that addresses the energy and noise issues. This research measured the ventilation performance, energy consumption, and noise level of mechanical ventilation devices in multi-family residential buildings. TOPSIS, a multi-criteria decision making technique was used to determine appropriate ventilation strategies in addition to occupant ventilation system operation preference.

  • Purpose: This study investigated major dietary patterns among healthy Korean adults using cluster analysis and analyzed the relationship between energy intake and skeletal muscle mass. Methods: This study was conducted using the data from the 2008 ~ 2010 Korea National Health and Nutrition Survey. The data of 7,922 subjects aged 30 years and over, without any missing values, were included in the final analysis. K-means cluster analyses were conducted to identify the dietary patterns of the study subjects, which were based on the energy intake from 21 food groups using a 24-h recall method. The changes in energy intake with each dietary pattern, according to quartiles of skeletal muscle mass, were investigated. Results: Three dietary patterns were identified for both men and women: 'Flour, Animal fat', 'White rice' and 'Healthy mixed diet'. The association between energy intake and skeletal muscle mass for both men and women was significant only in the 'White rice' dietary pattern. In the 'White rice' pattern, the energy intake increased up to > 300 kcal from the lowest to the highest quartile of skeletal muscle mass after adjustment for covariates. Within the 'White rice' pattern, skeletal muscle mass was linearly associated with energy intake in all the age groups in men. Conclusion: Energy intake was significantly associated with changes in skeletal muscle mass only in the 'White rice' pattern. Furthermore, the degree of association between the change in skeletal muscle mass and energy intake differed according to gender. These results indicate that the association between skeletal muscle mass and energy intake may be specific to Korean people who are accustomed to a traditional Korean diet.
