Development of Web-based Construction-Site-Safety-Management Platform Using Artificial Intelligence (인공지능을 이용한 웹기반 건축현장 안전관리 플랫폼 개발)

  • In the fourth industrial-revolution era, the construction industry is transitioning from traditional methods to digital processes. This shift has been challenging owing to the industry's employment of diverse processes and extensive human resources, leading to a gradual adoption of digital technologies through trial and error. One critical area of focus is the safety management at construction sites, which is undergoing significant research and efforts towards digitization and automation. Despite these initiatives, recent statistics indicate a persistent occurrence of accidents and fatalities in construction sites. To address this issue, this study utilizes large-scale language-model artificial intelligence to analyze big data from a construction safety-management information network. The findings are integrated into on-site models, which incorporate real-time updates from detailed design models and are enriched with location information and spatial characteristics, for enhanced safety management. This research aims to develop a big-data-driven safety-management platform to bolster facility and worker safety by digitizing construction-site safety data. This platform can help prevent construction accidents and provide effective education for safety practices.

  • A data collection of a liquid radioactive waste treatment process of a research organization became necessary while developing the RAWMIS(Radioactive Waste Management Integration System) which it can generate personal history management for efficient management of a waste, documents, all kinds of statistics. This paper introduces an input and output application program design to do to database with data in the results and a stream process of a treatment that analyzed the waste occurrence present situation and data by treatment process. Data on the actual treatment process that is not limited experiment improve by a document, human traces, saving of material resources and improve with efficiency of tracking about a radioactive waste and a process and give help to radioactive waste material valance and inventory study.

Evaluation of the Importance of Risk Factors in Real Estate Development Projects and Their Risk Management (부동산 개발사업의 위험요인 중요도 평가 및 위험관리 방안)

  • This paper aims to evaluate the importance of risk factors at each stage of real estate development projects, and to propose risk management plans. For this purpose, possible risk factors at each stage of real estate development projects are extracted through previous studies, questionnaire survey by real estate experts is conducted next. And finally, the importance of risk factors at each stage evaluated using the AHP method. The results of this study are as follows. First, according to the results of evaluating the risk factors by main categories, planning risks in predevelopment stage, licensing risks in developing preparation stage, and cash flow risk in development stage are appreciated as most important risks. Second, according to the results by sub categories, changes in consumer preferences in pre-development stage, contracts and licensing-related work in developing preparation stage, bankruptcy of developers and construction companies in development stage, and compensation for any kinds of accidents in management and operation stage are appreciated as most important risks. Third, the major risk management plans at each stage based on the analysis results are suggested.

Complementary Methods of the Records Reappraisal Policy (공공기록물 재평가 제도 보완 방안)

  • Reappraisal is a process to examine the past appraisal decision. The reappraisal theory is based on two facts: first, appraisal decision can not be always correct, second, the archival value is changed by time. So, reappraisal policy should complement the limit of the first appraisal results, which is based on the function analysis. To achieve this goal, it is needed to use different process and methods from the first appraisal. However, existing reappraisal system does not meet the essential purpose of reappraisal. This article examined the limit of the reappraisal policy. To complement the problems, this article set a direction and suggested the subject-based reappraisal. The aim of this study is to present the methods to document the society of the generation.

  • In order to have market competitiveness in local and global areas, Domestic Marine Leisure Industry business, which is a latecomer in the Marine Leisure industry, should retain a strong market adaptability by reducing time and cost that are required for work of planning, designing, and preparation for product development. To meet above requirements, it is essential that integrated system control extensive marine leisure industry. After ensuring integrated information by figuring out the systematic link between related-industries, the core of this research is to secure information classifications that are not just in the flow of simple serial order, but in that of integration and object-oriented information classifications. For this end, we examine other similar cases in industries using real information system applied to industrial production and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Product Data Management (PDM), Digital Manufacturing (DM) and applying the same methodology to review practical application in order to construct the information system, and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), compared with the case studies. Through this basic task for the marine leisure industry classification system configuration (Work Breakdown Structure, WBS) and utilizing information of driving real companies of marine leisure industry, a unique area of MLWBS (Marine Leisure Work Breakdown Structure, MLWBS) is configured. This Marine Leisure Work Breakdown Structure can be used in various areas of applications like products, design information, engineering, production, purchasing, sales, marketing, AS, utilizing various forms of customer support.

A Study on the Using of BIM Data and Template for Construction Progress Management (건설공정관리를 위한 BIM데이터와 템플릿 활용 방안)

  • BIM is currently applied in some domestic construction firms, but it is not being actively utilized due to changes in working environments and qualms about new studies. In order to utilize a BIM model in the design phase, process information is needed during construction, but the input system and utilization method of the process information's state are not complete. Therefore, we propose a BIM template for construction progress management that can show basic BIM information as the construction progresses in an easy and convenient way. This method will facilitate the adoption of BIM and enhance the productivity of construction companies. To this end, we designed a progress explorer for step-by-step progress and work schedules, and we generated three-dimensional views and a progress list by applying unit information (primary units, part units, and detail units) of the work breakdown structure (WBS) to the parameters. To use the BIM template, work progress information is input to the BIM modeling objects through Dynamo. We also used Dynamo for quick and easy calculation of the quantity of materials needed for construction work. To test the BIM template, we applied it to an actual project and evaluated its visibility and a progress list. The results showed that the proposed BIM template facilitates progress management of a project and can thus facilitate the adoption of BIM and improve the productivity of construction companies.

  • 하천의 수위와 유량 등의 수리량 자료는 치수, 이수, 환경 등에 관한 하천 계획과 관리의 기초자료로 활용된다. 따라서 체계적인 하천 관리를 위해서는 신뢰성 있는 하천 수리량 자료의 확보가 요구된다. 이에 따라 우리나라에서는 많은 하천에 수위 관측소를 설치하여 실시간 수위를 측정하고 있다. 하지만 유량의 측정은 국가하천 등 주요 대규모 하천에 국한되어 있는 실정이다. 반면에 우리나라 대부분의 홍수 피해는 중 소하천에서 발생하고 있지만, 중 소하천에 대한 수문조사는 상대적으로 매우 미진한 실정이다. 이러한 중 소하천에 대한 수리 정보 조사의 가장 큰 어려움은 대부분의 중 소하천이 지방자치단체에서 관리하고 있어 예산과 인력 지원이 어렵기 때문이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 중 소하천에 산재한 보와 같은 하천 횡단 구조물의 유량 측정 기능을 이용하고, 급성장하고 있는 영상 분석 기술과 IT를 하천공학 분야에 접목하여 중 소하천의 수리 정보를 저비용, 실시간으로 원격 측정하는 시스템을 개발하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 연구에서는 저가형 영상 장비를 이용하여 하천 횡단구조물 주변의 흐름 영상을 원격으로 확보하고, 해당 영상을 데이터베이스로 송신하는 장치인 WIA 시스템(wireless image acquisition system)을 개발하였다. 그리고 촬영된 영상을 분석하여 수위를 도출하는 영상 분석 프로그램, 수위-유량 관계 곡선(rating curve), 미계측 지점에 대한 하천 수리 정보를 계산하기 위한 HEC-RAS를 포함하는 River-HQ 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 WIA & River-HQ 시스템은 한국건설기술연구원 하천실험센터 내 직선 수로(실규모 하천) 구간에 대하여 정확성이 검증되었다. 이러한 WIA & River-HQ 시스템은 실제 하천에 대한 적용성과 안정성 검토를 통해 향후 중 소하천의 환경 관리와 홍수예경보 업무 등에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • The concept of the critical path in the workflow is important because it can be utilized In many issues in workflow systems, e.g., workflow resource management and workflow time management. However, the critical path in the contest of the workflow has not been much addressed in the past. This is because control flows in the workflow, generally including sequence, parallel, alternative, iteration and so on, are much more complex than those in the ordinary graph or network. In this paper we first describe our workflow model that has considerable work(low control constructs. They would provide the sufficient expressive power for modeling the growing complexities of today's most business processes. Then, we propose a method to systematically determine the critical path in a workflow schema built by the workflow control constructs described in our workflow model.

  • Cyber education fields have been changed a lot with the internee development. One of them is the field of consultation for university admission. As for the business of university admission, there were two ways applicants handed in their applications directly to school which they applied to and to each place to receive applications or sent them through FAX. Recently, highlighted is the internee environment to receive the application for admission which integrated organically the two ways. This paper aims to design and implement a multi-consulting-agent system having intelligence which helps applicants make their right applications for colleges or universities through internet system after guiding a proper department to them.

  • This study introduces a new method for Logistics Cost Accounting in University Libraries. Logistics Cost is the cost that arises in the course of physical distribution and causes a serious in crease in the unit cost of a product. Therefore, Logistics Cost Accounting has been used in manufacturing industries to reduce the unit costs of products. There is a definite similarity between the operations of a business and a library. The operations of a business consist of purchasing, production, selling, which is similar to that of a library, where they are called acquisitions, cataloging, physical preparations and circulation. So Logistics Cost Accounting may be applied to a library. With this in mind, we made a model for Logistics Cost Accounting' in University Libraries. Therefore, it can be applied to many university libraries because it is a general model.
