  • From 2000s, the development to improve space use of urban area has been requested because of unorganized urban development in 1960~70s. For this reason Urban Redevelopment projects have been changed to urban regeneration project based on the renewed law. Recent urban regeneration Projects are bigger and more complex than ever. These kinds of projects need good communication between projects stakeholders, however there are problems in processing project for the lack of standardized business process. The purpose of this study is to provide common business process of urban regeneration projects for stakeholders to improve understanding project business process through analyzing association way of urban regeneration project and modeling business process by BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation) method. And also it is expected to improve communication between stakeholders and to shorten project time through prompting project participation with the proposed business process.

A Study on the Job Analysis of National and Public University Records Management Using IPA (IPA를 활용한 국·공립대학교 기록관리 담당자의 직무분석에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to present basic data for enhancing the capability of the work by clarifying the duties of the national and public university record management personnel and using IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis) techniques to identify differences and characteristics of the work by job and experience. To this end, the records management personnel of national and public universities were analyzed and surveyed, and the statistical analysis and IPA Matrix were conducted. As measures to solve problems derived from the results of the analysis, mandatory placement of national and public university record researchers, securing budget for performing their work, collection of university history records through various channels, supplementation and revision of records management institutions, and adjustment of job competency based on experience were proposed.

  • Since February 2017, site managers in small architectural projects are required by the revised building act. In order to address issues for site managers and to improve project efficiency, system improving methods are surveyed and proposed in this study. The key inspection items in the existing surveillance guidance manual were investigated, and the checklist for site managers for a small to medium sized construction site was analyzed. This study also tries to propose using web-based site management systems for improvement of the utilization of checklists. It is expected that these on-site management systems, along with BIM technology, will be able to monitor the small size building construction project in real time and effectively monitor the various problems occurring on-site.

  • Recently, it has increased projects in the Oil and Gas industry as growing plant of overseas construction market. Therefore, domestic companies need to set some aggressive plans up that secure competitiveness of international plant business such as enhancing productivity, technological ability and statistical management. Specifically in the Oil and Gas industry of overseas plant business requires implying information in EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction, below EPC) more, but it has not been suggested an appropriate breakdown system for contents that manages the information each EPC phase, which lead to problems such as revision of design document, occurring duplicated work and omissions of each participant. For these problems, we find market share decreasing and competitiveness running down. Thus, for increasing practical use of contents management system and construction industry's information, this paper suggests a contents breakdown system based on BPM (Business Process Management), defines business process and systematizing knowledge needed, and finally analyzing contents information that establish information among industrial facilities in Design phase which is the weakest part of domestic companies.

  • This study is aimed at developing a web-based management system of maintenance historical data, for effective maintenance performance and smooth exchange of information and communication between public facilities and public educational facilities managers. The current management state of maintenance historical data and its business process were investigated and analyzed, through interviewing with the persons in charge of managing each facility, by recognizing problems of maintenance historical data management that is able to be applied as a basis to judge facility deterioration and performance. In addition, this study suggests a maintenance historical data system of which DB may be applied to the practical business, by reflecting requests of the persons in charge of managing facilities, setting up the scope of system usage by facility, business phase and level of facility managers, and establishing a maintenance business process system.

  • The document transformation system is more widely used in order to transform business documents efficiently in diverse organization. In established researches on document transformation systems have been carried mainly focused on XML however, it is not only transformed XML form but also EDI or local form in realistic import and export process. Particularly, in the most completed research relate on document transformation, they used ontology to get rid of non-efficiency in the connection of XML schema by manual. Hence, those researches are lack of features, which are construct and modify the domain ontology automatically and the size wasn't enough to realize itself. In this paper we study development of ontology and basic system, which is critical in intelligent document conversion system. And we develop an ontology with editor can be modified and complemented by users, as well as we make it used in real import and export business process.

Suggestion for Change in Risk Management Based Government Quality Assurance Activities of Military Supplies (위험관리기반의 군수품 품질보증업무 변화를 위한 제언)

  • Recently, Recently, many quality problems in military supplies are raised such as K-series weapons(K-2 tank, K-9 Self-propelled artillery and K-11 Armoured Car and etc.) quality issues, leaking combat shoe issue and so on. Existing one and only national quality assurance agency for military supplies, Defense Agency for Technology and Quality(DTaQ) adapted risk management based framework to perform the government quality assurance activities. However, risk framework established by DTaQ seems lack of objectivity, consistency and efficiency. In this research, we first reviewed the DTaQ's regulations to identify the possible problems, and then suggested the alternatives which are based on advanced risk management framework and plan-do-check-action(PDCA) cycle. In conclusion, we suggested the new risk management framework, so called visual PDCA fishbone chart, and illustrated the use of the framework via real instance.

A Study on the Link between the Serious Accidents Punishment Act and the Enterprise Disaster Management Standard: Focused on the Serious Industrial Accidents (중대재해처벌법과 재해경감활동관리체계 연계방안 연구 - 중대산업재해 중심)

  • Purpose: This study is intended to confirm the business disruptive risk in the Serious Accidents, and propose a plan to comply with the Serious Accidents Punishment Act through the Disaster Mitigation Activity Management System. Method: Through literature review and case studies, the requirements and characteristics of each of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act, the Disaster Mitigation Activity Management System, and ISO 45001 were compared and analyzed, and implications were derived. Result: The business disruption and financial adverse effects caused by industrial accidents were identified. Based on this and by using the Disaster Mitigation Activity Management System, measures to link the documentation requirements of the the Serious Accidents Punishment Act to the Disaster Mitigation Activity Management System, and to manage the implementation records of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act's duty were derived. Conclusion: When establishing and operating the Disaster Mitigation Activity Management System, it can not only comply with the Serious Accidents Punishment Act but also contribute to maintaining business continuity and ESG management through the prevention of various disasters and the minimization of secondary damage, etc.

  • Purpose: There is not much time left for mandatory BIM implementation for all sectors and stages of the construction industry. Therefore, it is necessary to find a way to secure technology to substantially improve the productivity of BIM work. In the research, we proposed a method to automatically verify related construction standards for major objects produced by BIM modeling procedures so that engineers can verify construction standards in the BIM-based design process. Method: We defined a modeling work procedure for BIM-based road design work and prepared a method for constructing related design standards in a database. In addition, a process map for developing a BIM-based design basis review automation system was also presented. Result: A BIM-based design standard review automation module was developed using Civil3D and Dynamo. And it was confirmed by the test application that it is possible to quickly judge whether the BIM object manufactured in the design process conforms to the construction design standard. Conclusion: BIM-based design standard review automation technology can improve the productivity of BIM model production work and secure the quality of the BIM model.

Evaluating the Accuracy of an OpenCV-Based Length Measurement Algorithm: The Impact of Checkerboard Type and Capturing Conditions (체커보드 종류 및 촬영조건에 따른 OpenCV 기반 길이측정 알고리즘 정확도 분석)

  • The OpenCV-based length measurement algorithm is anticipated to be effective for length measurement inspection tasks, providing objective inspection outcomes. Nonetheless, there is a notable gap in research regarding the influence of various checkerboard types and capturing conditions on the algorithm's accuracy in real-world construction settings. Consequently, this study proposes a methodology employing an OpenCV-based length measurement algorithm and checkerboard for digital construction inspection tasks. The findings suggest that using a checkerboard with square sizes of A4 or larger, and 50mm or larger, is optimal for capturing distances and angles within 4m and 90°, respectively, when deploying the algorithm. These insights are anticipated to provide practical guidelines for professionals conducting digital-based length measurement inspections.
