The Structural Relationship among Learning Goal Orientation, Creativity, Working Smart, Working Hard, and Work Performance of Salespersons (영업사원의 학습목표지향성, 창의성, 업무방법, 업무강도, 업무성과의 구조적 관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to specify a structural relationship among learning goal orientation(LGO), creativity, working smart, working hard, and work performance of salespersons, verify the direct and indirect effect of variables, and examine impacts of the five factors at the same time. Also, this carried out the study to understand the relationship between the salesperson's creativity and work performance. This study targeted for salespersons who were working in various industries and total 588 were participated via on-line. According to the study, the result is as follows. First of all, There are direct effects among LGO, creativity, working smart, and work performance. However, working hard didn't have any direct effect with any other variables. Creativity and working smart have indirect effects on the relationship between LGO and job performance. In addition, the mediating effect of the model with creativity was higher than that of the model without creativity. Therefore, creativity is an individual competency that should be continuously developed to improve the work performance of a salesperson.

  • 교육인적자원부는 교육행정 전반의 효율성을 높이고 교원 업무 환경 개선을 위하여 교육행정정보시스템(NEIS)를 시행하고 있다. 그러나 교육행정정보시스템의 도입단계에서 시스템의 보안성 취약과 개인정보에 대한 해킹 우려 등의 이유로 교육행정정보시스템이 정착되지 못하였으나 NEIS의 27개 영역 중 개인정보를 많이 담고 있는 교무/학사, 입(진)학, 보건을 분리 별도의 서버를 구축하는 NEIS 교무업무시스템이 탄생하였다. 따라서 NEIS 교무업무시스템 활용하여 전자문서를 활용하여 이를 통한 교원업무가 경감되어 학교교육행정의 효율성을 모색할 필요성을 느끼게 되었다. 본 연구는 NEIS 교무업무시스템 활용에 따른 교원업무의 효율성을 분석하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 시스템 개선점 도출 및 편리성이 증진되었고 업무조직의 효율적인 분장 및 업무승인을 전자결재로 시행함으로써 시간단축 효과가 큰 것으로 나타났고 교원의 교무업무도 획기적으로 단축시켜 교원 업무의 효율성도 증진시켰다. 또한 교무업무시스템의 활용으로 소요시간과 예산이 절감되었다. 교무업무시스템의 이러한 교원 업무 경감 효과에 비추어 향후 과제를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교무업무시스템의 원활한 운영을 위하여 네트워크 정비나 성능 좋은 컴퓨터가 확보되어야 하고 둘째, 업무 효율화를 위해서 시스템 내에서의 업무 승인 기능이 확대되어야 하며 교원의 업무경감 및 시스템 운영의 활성화를 위해서 훈령을 학교현장의 여건에 맞추어 정비 보완해야 하며, 시스템 운영의 표준화를 위한 제도 개선이 필요하다.

  • 본 논문에서는 업무할당방식이 효율성에 미치는 영향을 분석함으로써, BPM 업무환경에서 효율성을 증진시키기 위한 방법론을 모색한다. 이를 위해, 업무할당방식을 프로세스 실행시에 사용자를 할당하는 동적할당과 프로세스 모델링시에 결정하는 정적할당으로 구분하여 BP효율성 관점에서 상호 비교한다. 지금까지 이런 업무 할당방식이 업무효율성에 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 대한 연구가 없었으며, 본 논문은 cycle time 척도에 대해서 이들 업무할당방식을 비교 분석한다. 이러한 비교 분석의 결과는 상용 BPM를 도입하여 운영하는 기업에게 업무효율성을 높이는 가이드라인을 제시할 수 있다.

Are Coffee Breaks Good for Performance?: A Perspective on Non-Work-Related Activities (커피 브레이크는 성과에 도움이 되는가?: 업무 외적인 활동 관점)

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate non-work relating activities at work. To do this, this paper proposes and analyzes a simple theoretical model consisting of factors such as non-work relating smartphone usage during working hours, non-work relating coffee break during working hours, work after working hours, and job performance. Our findings are revealed as following: First, non-work-related coffee break has positive effect on performance. Second, non-work-related smartphone usage generally has negative effect on performance, but it has positive effect on performance in personal communication with co-workers. Third, work after working hours has negative effect on performance.

  • Organizations are attempting a digital transformation that converts physical business processing into virtual business processing. Through this digital transformation, organizations are overcoming time and space constraints and creating competitiveness. The digital transformation of this work environment has been accelerated as many organizations have implemented remote work due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic. This study focused on business process virtualizability, which is the result of the rapid digital transformation of the work environment. Business process virtualizability is the resulting quality, such as the suitability or excellence of business processing in a virtual environment. This research model is the effect of process, IT and organizational characteristics on business process virtualizability. As a result of the verification of people who have experienced remote work in a virtual environment, first, it was confirmed that, in terms of process characteristics, sensory requirements affect business process virtualizability, but relationship requirements, synchronism requirements, and identification and control requirements do not. Second, in terms of IT characteristics, it was confirmed that representation and reach affect business process virtualizability. Third, it was confirmed that, in terms of organizational characteristics, job autonomy affects business process virtualizability, but evaluation unfairness does not. This study found that representation and reach of IT had the most significant influence on business process virtualizability, job autonomy was next, and sensory requirements had the lowest influence. This presents practical implications for organizations to increase the success potential of business process virtualizability.

A Study on the Outcome of International Trade Practice in Commitment of Electronic Trade (전자무역의 몰입이 무역업무성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This study tried to analyzed the relationship outcome and commitment in order to suggest to a outcome for commitment decision-making of e-trade. 6 hypothesis were constructed for analysis based on previous literature review. The subject of this study is to analyse on electronic trade practice outcome on the international trade practice commitment. This paper investigates the outcome determinants of e-trade commitment. There are 250 sended samples and 188 returns, 168 of them are analyzed on commitment for a electronic trade outcome. The first, multiple regression result shows that the international trade practice outcome are positively affected by the "Overseas market research commitment", "e-L/C Practice commitment", "Clearance Practice commitment", "e-B/L or global logistic commitment", "Payment or e-Nego commitment". However, The "Commerce practice commitment" factors does not affect in the electronic trade practice outcome.

  • The objective of this study is to verify effects of employees' cognition of their job characteristics in production department of manufacturing companies on production performance and also to verify the moderating effect of the characteristics of managerial accounting information in the relationship between job characteristics and productivity. To achieve this purpose, this study divides the factors of job characteristics into task diversity, task significance, autonomy, and task identity and production performance into flexibility, time, and quality. The results of this study are as follows. First, There is a significant relationship between job characteristics and production performance according to employees' cognition of their job characteristics. Second, There is a significant relationship between job characteristics and production performance according to the characteristics of managerial accounting information.

  • 1980년대 후반과 90년대 초반부터 정보시스템의 비상계획과 재해복구의 새로운 개념으로 대두된 업무지속성관리(BCM:Business Continuity Management)는 정보시스템이 조직의 업무처리(Business Process)에 중심을 두고 활용되는 현실에서 업무의 중단없는 지속적인 업무수행이 조직의 중요 이슈로 대두되는 추세를 반영하여, 비상시 또는 재해시 복구의 대상을 단순한 전산센터나 시스템 단위에 초점을 맞추는 것이 아니라, 가장 중요한 업무처리 차원에서 중단없이 업무를 수행할 수 있도록 관리하는 것을 말한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 업무지속성관리가 기존의 재해복구나 보안관리 등의 개념들과 어떠한 관계를 갖고 있는지를 정의함으로서, 업무지속성관리의 개념과 범위를 좀 더 명확히 하고, 정보시스템의 운영환경별(중앙집중처리, 분산처리, 외부위탁처리) 업무지속성관리를 적용하는 방안에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 증권사 정보시스템의 아웃소싱 성과에 영향을 미치는 기업특성적 변인에 대해 파악하고자, 아웃소싱 수혜기업인 증권사의 조직 및 부문적 특성이 아웃소싱 정도의 매개효과를 통해 아웃소싱 성과(업무효용성, 업무능률성, 업무생산성, 예산감소율)에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 실증적으로 검증하였다. 증권사의 조직적 특성(경쟁전략, 재무능력)이 아웃소싱 정도를 매개로 성과에 미치는 영향을 검증한 가설 1과 증권사의 부문적 특성(업무특수성, IT 자원, IT 역량)이 아웃소싱 정도를 매개로 성과에 미치는 영향을 검증한 가설 2를 실증분석한 결과, 경쟁전략, 재무능력, 업무특수성, IT 자원, IT 역량의 요인들이 아웃소싱 정도를 통해 업무효용성과 예산감소율에 영향을 주는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 재무능력, IT 역량 등이 업무효용성, 예산감소율과 같은 정보시스템 아웃소싱의 성과에 상대적으로 많은 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 정보시스템 아웃소싱 정도의 매개효과를 확인할 수 있었다.

  • This study aims to examine a relationship between creativity and work performance of salespersons, and understand how the relationship between salesperson's creativity and their work performance changed depending on the classification of sales business and the industrial category. An on-line survey was targeted for salespersons who were working in consumer goods sales, industry materials sales, financial business, and service industry. A total number of the completed surveys was 588. According to the study, creativity is an important competency to improve salespersons' work performance. Also, companies should focus on the investment in developing creativity of employees who are in charge of industrial materials sales compared to people in other industrial categories.
