Research on the Development of Automated Multifunction-Integrated Motion Bed (자동화된 다기능 통합 전동 침대 개발에 대한 연구)

  • Recently, various motion beds have been actively developed and popularized. The motion bed has the functions of height adjustment, back plate rising, knee lifting, tilt function and left / right rotation, and the remote control can conveniently be used by the patient himself or the caregiver to move the patient. However, since the medical bed for use does not have a function of preventing pressure ulcers, exchanging sheets, and transferring patients, it is necessary to disperse body pressure by using a pressure ulcer prevention matrix to prevent pressure ulcers. However, it is accompanied by muscle strength and hard work, and nurses are avoiding difficult nursing care. In this study, we developed the first prototype in the world and confirmed that the system works normally with the goal of developing multifunctional beds that automatically perform the prevention of bed sores, the exchange of sheets and the transfer of patients in order to facilitate such nursing work. It is anticipated that the proposed multifunctional motorized bed in the future will be a model of a medical robot for smart healthcare.

  • Today, Korean medical community faces rapid changes in medical environment due to opening of medical market, more emphasis on making profit and introduction of private medical insurance. Therefore, it is apparent that around, major university hospitals, efforts are being made to adapt to such changes by establishing mid to long range strategic plans. We want to keep pace with changing times and diverse demand of patients by introducing state of the art system, utilizing Ubiquitous technologies for improvements. In doing so, we want to distinguish our hospital services from others. However, Hospital Information System that integrates ubiquitous technologies are introduced in limited basis due to problems like standardization and limits on medical use etc. Particularly, problems like absence of tag design suitable for medical environment, compatibility and extension issue with RFID system need to be addressed on application of RFID technologies. In order to solve such problems, this paper implemented RFID tag system, RFID-SIP UA program, location tracking program. This paper provides a comprehensive basic review of RFID and SIP model suggests the evolution direction of further advanced RFID application service. The design of RFID-SIP application offers advance RFID system with drawback and reduction search time of medical object. so there is a improvement of hospital information system in ubiquitous environment.

A Structural Model Analysis of Psychological Contract Breach, Psychological Contract Violation, and Employee Outcomes - A Case of Five Star Deluxe Hotel Employees - (인지된 계약위반, 경험된 계약위반과 직원의 조직행동 간의 구조적 관계에 관한 연구 - 특 1급 호텔 종사원을 중심으로 -)

  • With a distinction made between contract breach and contract violation, this study develops a structural model that investigates whether each dimension of contract breach influences experience of a contract violation in the hotel industry. At the same time, the impact of such a violation on hotel employees' work outcomes has been studied. One hundred and seventy eight employees, who are employed in five star deluxe hotels participated in the study and a structural equation modeling(SEM) is employed. The result indicated that good working relationship, and training and development, a so called relational oriented breach, make positively significant impact on contract violation. Whereas, benefits and salary categorized as transactional oriented breach does not. Also, the suggested employee outcomes including high turnover intent, low job satisfaction, and person-organization fit have been influenced by contract violation. As a result, hotel practitioners need to clarify the contract items prior to employment and during employment and to prepare to react to unmet promises.

  • 문명 발전에 의해 생활공간이 더욱더 복잡해짐에 따라 현실 세계의 3차원 공간으로서의 이해가 필요해졌고, 3차원 공간을 효율적으로 관리 및 분석하기 위하여 3차원 GIS에 대한 중요성이 대두되기 시작하였다. 현재까지의 3차원 GIS는 1990년대에 들어서 3차원 가상도시의 등장으로 도시 모델의 3차원 가시화에 대해 많은 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 이러한 3차원 가상도시는 도시 관리 차원에서 도시공간의 표현, 분석, 모델링, 시뮬레이션 등을 통하여 도시정보의 체계적이고 효율적인 관리를 가능하게 한다. 3D GIS 기술의 활용 사례로는 3차원 도시 경관 분석 및 도시 계획, 3차원 시뮬레이션, 3차원 위치기반 서비스, 도시 행정 관리 등이 있다. 3차원 도시 경관 분석 및 도시 계획 활용 분야에서는 3차원 GIS를 활용하여 새롭게 건설되는 건물들이나 토지 이용 변경에 따른 경관 분석을 가상공간에서 시뮬레이션 분석함으로써 경관 변화 예측 및 적합한 경관 설계에 대한 분석을 한다. 3차원 시뮬레이션의 경우 환경오염도 분석, 최적의 입지선정, 개발 전후의 경관 차이, 각종 재난에 따른 위험도 분석, 경관과 일조량 분석 등을 미리 가상도시에 시뮬레이션 함으로서 불필요한 업무를 줄일 수 있고 발생할 수 있는 결과 값을 예상할 수 있다. 3차원 위치기반 서비스의 경우 자신의 위치를 비교적 정확히 측정함으로서 생소한 도시를 방문하거나 위치를 찾아갈 경우 최단 경로 및 최적 경로를 탐색할 수 있다. 앞으로의 3차원 GIS 기술 동향으로 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 시공간분석(Temporal GIS)과 3차원 실내공간인지 기술 개발 등으로 볼수있다. 시공간분석은 시공간 질의를 통한 공간정보의 시간에 다른 변화 계산 또는 예측된 결과를 분석할 수 있고, 시공간 분석에 사용되는 공간적, 시간적 정보의 조합은 적어도 3차원 이상의 정보를 나타내기 때문에 필요에 따라 다양한 결과를 산출 할 수 있다. 종합적으로 시공간분석은 GIS의 분석 범위를 넓혀 주며 실시간 GIS 응용시스템 개발을 위한 주요 과업이다. 3차원 실내공간정보 표현기법과 공간분석 및 공간인지 기법을 이용한 통한 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 3차원 실내공간인지 기술 개발을 통해 최근 공간정보를 기반으로 한 위치기반서비스내 u-서비스 즉, 인간 행태의 분석, 관리 및 응용을 지원하도록 한다 이는 위치기반서비스 사용자의 주변상황에 대한 인지능력을 향상시켜주고 최근 사회적 이슈가 되고 있는 U-City의 성공여부에 직접적인 영향을 미칠것이다. 이를 위해 다음과 같은 기술개발이 수행되어야 할것이다. 첫째로, 공간인지 기술을 위한 3차원 실내공간표현 방법 개발, 둘째로, 3차원 실내공간정보를 이용한 공간분석 및 공간인지 기법 개발, 마지막으로 유비쿼터스 환경에서 3차원 실내공간인지를 위한 미들웨어 개발을 통해서 공간정보의 활용을 macro-scale 공간에서 micro-scale로 확산될 것이다. 그러므로, 본 세미나를 통해서, 3차원 GIS의 활용의 보편화와 대중화를 위해서는 3차원 데이터 획득 및 처리 방법, 3차원 공간데이타베이스, 공간 분석 및 가시화에 대한 기술적 이슈들을 논하고자 한다.

  • The mobile mapping system first introduced at Ohio State University in 1991 is being developed in various forms as sensor technology develops. The mobile mapping system can acquire geospatial information around amoving object quickly using the information gathered using the position and attitude information of the moving object and the data from various sensors. The mobile mapping system can rapidly acquire large amounts of Geospatial information and MMS provides maximum productivity in the same measurement methods as existing GNSS and total stations. Currently, a variety of systems are being launched, mainly by foreign companies, and they are applied to the construction of geospatial information. On the other hand, the application of domestic technology development or production is insufficient. This paper provides basic data for the introduction of a mobile mapping system to geospatial information related business by conducting the status survey and feature analysis of a commercialized system focusing on the ground-based mobile mapping system. The research identified the current status and characteristics of high-priced, low-priced, indoor, and handheld mobile mapping systems based on vehicles and suggest that the recent system development trends are moving toward lowering the unit prices. The mobile mapping system is currently being developed as a platform for the application of geospatial information construction and the launch of low-cost models. The development of data processing technologies, such as automatic matching and the launch of low-cost models, are forming a basis for the application of mobile mapping systems in the field of geospatial information construction.

  • This paper demonstrates the design and development of asset management systems suitable for the universities full of very various kind of assets. Universities consists of many departments, which have a multiplicity of many experimental. It is very difficult to record and manage assets with hands. In addition, the equipments are moving freely from one lab to another inside the school, which means it is tough to find the location of the assets and so some stuffs that are given lack attention are likely to disappear. So, these things occurring frequently in the university asset management environment should be considered in the design and embodiment of the asset management system. In the proposed system, location recognition of the assets is realized based on a route tracking method, so it is possible to detect the loss of the high priced assets and entrance, export, and lending of them are controlled efficiently. The system is likely to reduce the load of a manager responsible for asset management, because configured to decrease interventions of the manager in overall asset management process. Especially, the proposed system and implementation method will be suitable for small and medium-scale asset management, path tracking, history management.

  • Executions of SCM in a chemical company of which divisions produce petrochemicals, compounds, batteries, IT material and medicine directly affect their own profit. Execution level of SCM or optimization is very important. This work presents activities of SCM and optimization of inefficient issues in several industrial divisions using mathematical optimization method. The meaning is not only academic research but also making a useful tool which active partner deals with in his work. It is explained how to do beforehand and afterward optimization problem. The benefits are mentioned in the sections. The first of examples would be cover supply plan optimization, optimal profit business plan, and scheduling of a stretching process of polarizer based on minimizing raw material loss in polarizer production. The second example would be cover the optimization of production/packaging plans to maximize productivity of Poly Olefin processes, and the third example is minimization of transition loss in the production of battery electrodes. The fourth example would be cover scheduling of vessel approaching to berth. Because transportation of large portion of raw material and products of petrochemical industry is dealt with vessel, scheduling of vessel approaching to berth is important at the shore of large difference of tide. The final example would be scheduling problem to minimization of change over time of ABS semi products.

  • Today's computing system has expanded its application to business trade and distributed work transactions using the Internet. As the demand for more flexible, adaptable, extensible, and robust web-based enterprise, these application development has been gradually expanded based on reusable, independent, and portable components. Component Based Development (CBD) works by developing and evolving software from selected reusable software components and then assembling them within appropriate software architecture. However, it requires an increase in cost to build new components as well as the necessary effort to develop of the business requirement these components. Standardized component models are required as well from the perspective of systems in order to support rapid and exact component information transmission on the web. In this paper, we describe the e-Business Component Development with agent for rapid application development on the web that correspond to the demands of users in the business domain. We design and implement the specifications of e-business components by combining these demands. In order to improve the agent register and retrieval, we propose the intelligent search and register agents, which can conduct more precise searching and specializing for components. The system enables the locating of user's frequently used components through an agent involving register and retrieval, as well as rapid procedures for registers The e-BCOS (e-Business Component System) is the agent system for the user to register distributed components and to search for components Information. The e-BCOS increases reusability through the e-business component development of distributed components in the business domain. For the share and delivery, specification with XML is acceptable to user's variable order e-BCOS Includes the effective investment, timeliness, reliability, efficiency, and maintenance effort by with agent.

Development of SaaS cloud infrastructure to monitor conditions of wind turbine gearbox (풍력발전기 증속기 상태를 감시하기 위한 SaaS 클라우드 인프라 개발)

  • In this paper, to integrate distributed IT resources and manage human resource efficiently as purpose of cost reduction, infrastructure of wind turbine monitoring system have been designed and developed on the basis of SaaS cloud. This infrastructure hierarchize data according to related task and services. Softwares to monitor conditions via the infrastructure are also developed. Softwares are made up of DB design, field measurement, data transmission and monitoring programs. The infrastructure is able to monitor conditions from SCADA data and additional sensors. Total time delay from field measurement to monitoring is defined by modeling of step-wise time delay in condition monitoring algorithms. Since vibration data are acquired by measurements of high resolution, the delay is unavoidable and it is essential information for application of O&M program. Monitoring target is gearbox in wind turbine of MW-class and it is operating for 10 years, which means that accurate monitoring is essential for its efficient O&M in the future. The infrastructure is in operation to deal with the gearbox conditions with high resolution of 50 TB data capacity, annually.

A Study in Considering the Acceptance of Private Military Companies (민간군사기업의 도입방향에 관한 연구)

  • Since the Cold war, many countries in the world have reduced the number of their military personnel. However, it is also factual that regional conflicts have been incessantly occurring around the world. In turn, specific governmental policies are also needed in certain countries. Recently, a resolution growingly accepted in the advanced countries is the outsourcing of the resources and services of private military companies, which benefits for governments to manage their military force efficaciously. The utilization of private military force, however, may potentially generate ethical and practical issues because of the non-specified international codes to regulate private military companies, the political misuse of private personnel without concerning the loss of public military employees in danger zones, the safety of private personnel in the field, and the possibility of genocide. Prior to accept a private military companies which may be adequate in the environment of the Korean military, it is necessary to review previous cases of foreign countries. In addition, it is also needed to determine the plausible boundaries of the operation of private military companies with taking into consideration of the situations of the Korean military and private business. Finally, the systemic governmental support is requested in order to foster the business of private military.
