  • Ambulances are an important element of pre-hospital emergency medical services, and also an important space for improving the work efficiency of paramedics. Paramedics use the interior environment to maximize the capabilities of the space, but ambulances need to be improved to help with the responsibilities of paramedics. A Seamless space was constructed in accordance with the placement of first-aid emergency medical equipment and drugs, and a patient room was loaded in the interior space of an ambulance. This study was to improve the treatment space of an ambulance to improve the efficiency of work by paramedics The new design provides safety and efficiency for emergency medical services through planning of interior storage suitable for the duties of paramedics and through identification and analysis of the problems in the environment.

  • The extensive coverage and high speed of communication network, which is a basic structure of the information society, enables the provision of various forms of informatiov. especially, such services as cyber medicine, cyber education, home office, home banking, and home shopping will be common; and, now, no one can deny that the information society starts to be part of our life. Regarding home office, John Navigate predicted home office through the electronic house in New Mecca Trend and Alvin Toffler asserted in The third Wave that people could do their work anywhere including living room in their hoses with the development of communication technology and other related appliances. Such predictions are realized with the development of information communicatiov. Therefore, housing space should be changed according to the realization of home office and the direction of housing plan need to be set for home office.

  • The study compares busy streets with the ones that are not and finds out what makes people think the street is busy. Based on this comparison and analysis, the study reflects on measures to make streets busy. First of all, busy streets are classified into three parts: shopping zone, business zone, and the combination of the two. The study analyzes whether the street is busy due to the certain system or structure of the street or it is busy due to certain design of the street, and the analysis is done in those three categories mentioned above. The research was carried out in busy streets with similar characteristics in both Korea and Japan. Physical factors that turn ordinary streets into busy ones are focused and analyzed. The visual perception is analyzed. As a result, similarity and difference between designs of physical factors of streets in both countries are discovered. Ideal arrangement and design of physical factors that contribute to the making of busy streets are also found. Based on these data, design that makes busy streets with different characteristics is presented here.

  • Advancement in electronic technology has given office workers a new freedom, and a new meaning to workplace flexibility. Actually non territorial workplace has different space elements from general and conventional workplace in terns of interior design and architecture even organization management. The purpose of this study is on the establishment of an evaluation model for non territorial workplace that may be used, practically on the spot. For the establishment of non territorial workplace evaluation model, it is ahead of the study of the feature and the type of none territorial workplace and the research for existing office evaluation technique by Preiser and Vicher. And then the evaluation model for none territorial workplace which is composed three parts that is user's importance, provider's importance and user' satisfaction related fact of workplace. It is constructed by 6 factors which are physical, psychological, workplace environmental, communication, exterior environment, and space managing system therefore each factors has scrupulous elements therefore the total elements are 40. To make more confidence the evaluation model for non territorial workplace, it requires that study continually through the survey with the non territorial workplace evaluation model.

  • Non-territorial workplace has different characteristic from conventional workplace in terms of interior and architectural design and organization management even the user awareness. The purpose of this study is to examine the non-territorial workplace and suggest needs for improving the quality and efficiency of work. To fulfill this task, information describing various environmental conditions and user awareness were gathered from the non-territorial office in Seoul. Data were collected by using questionnaires regarding general information of user and satisfaction of environmental elements that were established on pre-study. Finally, based on the results of this study, the users of non-territorial workplace seem to be satisfied with utilization of space and working but discontent with psychological element such as privacy, security and affinity. Therefore designers should focused more on psychological elements according to users awareness which is the finding in this study among other elements.

  • The study is focused on the extraction of design consideration for non territorial workplace though the analysis of the workers satisfaction. Though the application of investigating method, at the first stage survey, satisfaction of non-territorial workplace user and the non territorial workplace design considerations are figured out. In addition the appraisal items are arranged and all of the factors were identified to influence the entire satisfaction in statistically meaningful levels. The first order of the design consideration for non-territorial workplace was evaluated as 'Psychological Element', 'Service Element', 'Mutual Interchange Action', 'Individual Working Element', 'Work Efficiency', 'Physical Element', respectively. Therefore the considerations are extracted based on the workers satisfaction and it need to be most focused on Psychological Element' among other things for non territorial workplace.
