  • 본 연구는 첨단 신호 시스템 알고리즘의 최적해를 구하는 문제를 기호적 시뮬레이션 기법으로 해결하기 위한 방법론을 제시한다. 최근 지능형 교통 시스템의 일환으로 최적화 된 교통신호를 생성하기 위한 신호제어기법들이 많이 개발되었다. 하지만 이러한 신호제어기법은 복잡한 교통환경에서 신호제어 변수간의 다양한 상호작용의 모든 해를 제공할 수 없는 한계를 지닌다. 한편 기호적 시뮬레이션 기법은 발생 가능한 모든 사건과 시간관계를 자동 생성시킴으로써 동적으로 변화하는 다양한 교통환경에 대해서 신호제어 변수간의 모든 시간관계를 추론해 낼 수 있는 장점을 지닌다. 하지만 기호적 시뮬레이션을 이용한 모델링에 있어서 교통량과 같은 양적인 요소들의 기호적 표현에는 어려움이 따른다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 교통량과 같은 양적인 요소들을 시간에 따른 변화량으로 해석하여 첨단 신호 시스템 알고리즘의 최적해를 구하는 문제에 접근한다. 이를 위해 국내 첨단 신호 시스템을 대상으로 신호제어 전략에 필요한 양적 요소를 검토하고, 이러한 양적 요소를 시간에 따른 변화량으로 해석하여 모델링 하고, 기호적 시뮬레이션 실험을 수행하여 최적신호 제어 알고리즘을 생성한다.

Case Study of the Sixth Grade Students' Quantitative Reasoning (초등학교 6학년 학생의 양적 추론 사례 연구)

  • This study analyzed the types of quantitative reasoning and the characteristics of representation in order to figure out the characteristics of quantitative reasoning of the sixth graders. Three students who used quantitative reasoning in solving problems were interviewed in depth. Results showed that the three students used two types of quantitative reasoning, that is difference reasoning and multiplicative reasoning. They used qualitatively different quantitative reasoning, which had a great impact on their problem-solving strategy. Students used symbolic, linguistic and visual representations. Particularly, they used visual representations to represent quantities and relations between quantities included in the problem situation, and to deduce a new relation between quantities. This result implies that visual representation plays a prominent role in quantitative reasoning. This paper included several implications on quantitative reasoning and quantitative approach related to early algebra education.

포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 이용한 취학 전 아동과 어머니의 식습관 상호관련성 분석

  • 식습관이나 식품 기호도는 식품의 선택에 있어서 중요한 변수이며 어릴 때 형성이 되는 어린이의 식품 기호도는 부모의 태도에 크게 영향을 받는다. 특히 유아기는 사회적, 인지적 능력이 발달하고 모방을 통하여 학습되는 시기이므로 이 시기의 식품에 대한 올바른 인식과 경험은 평생의 건강을 위해서도 부모의 역할은 중요하다. 근래 과잉 영양과 관련된 비만이 우려되고 있지만 아직도 유아에서는 부적절한 식사패턴으로 인한 영양소 결핍이 문제가 되고 있다. 선행 연구에서 유아나 어린이의 식습관이 부모, 특히 어머니의 영향을 많이 받는다고 지적하고 있지만 상호 관련에 대한 연구는 미흡하다. 또한 ‘무엇’과 ‘얼마나 많이’ 등이 중점이 되었던 양적 연구에서 이제는 ‘어떻게’ ‘왜’라는 것에 관심을 두는 사례연구의 중요성이 대두되고 있으므로 본 연구에서는 취학전 아동의 식습관과 영양상태에 관한 질적 연구로써 어머니와의 상호 관련성을 알아보고자 하였다. 대구, 부산지역에 거주하는 4∼7세 유아와 그 어머니(각 15명)를 대상으로 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 실시하고 유아와 1:1면담을 실시하였다. 어머니들의 식품구매에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인은 어머니 자신의 기호도와 편리, 가치관으로 나타났다. 유아와 어머니의 식품기호도를 조사한 결과 좋아하는 식품의 경우 두 군 모두 육류의 선호도가 높았다. 싫어하는 식품은 어머니의 경우에는 ‘없다’가 73%이었으나 유아의 경우에는 ‘야채류’가 73%이었다. 유아와 어머니의 식품 기호도 일치정도는 좋아하는 식품이 67%, 싫어하는 식품이 33%로 나타났다. 유아는 야채류를 싫어한다고 대답하면서도 건강에 좋은 식품을 ‘야채류’라고 생각하고 있었다 유아의 특정 식품의 선호도나 거부의 주된 이유는 ‘맛’이었으며, 유아의 편식습관은 어머니가 간편성 위주, 가족의 기호도 만을 고려하여 식단을 구성하는 것과 관련이 있었다. 조사대상 유아의 33%가 비타민제, 47%가 칼슘제제를 복용하고 있었으며 27%가 근래에 보약을 복용한 경험이 있었다. 어머니들은 영양제나 보약이 유아의 건강 유지에 많은 도움이 된다고 여기고 있었고 어머니의 임신 중 식품섭취나 이유기의 식품경험정도가 어린이의 식품 기호도에 영향을 미친다고 생각하고 있었다. 어머니가 식품구매시 질적으로 고려하는 부분은 건강과 관련된 무농약 식품, 인스턴트 식품 제한, 외식의 절제가 대부분 어머니의 관심사였다. 본 연구에서 어머니는 유아의 식습관과 식품기호도에 크게 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었으며, 유아 영양교육에서 어머니의 참여와 식품에 대한 인식 개선은 유아의 영양수준 개선에 필수적이라고 생각된다.

Characteristics of Modeling of Experiment in Case Analysis of Students' Open Inquiry and its Meaning on Science Education (학생의 자유 탐구 활동의 사례 분석을 통해 본 실험 모델링의 특징과 과학교육적 의미)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics of model of the experiment in students' open inquiry. The research is a reinterpretation of the data collected from the performance of a three-year research project under the theme of 'school science inquiry' the perspective of model of the experiment. The inquiry activities of a focus group made up of four students have been recorded seven times. The recorded files and transcribed copies were analyzed according to interpretive methods. Students' activities were divided into three modeling of the experiment units, considering the modeling unit that includes the process of starting from the problem until it gets solved. The results of the study include illuminating the dynamic process and characteristics of modeling of the experiment and discussing its educational meaning as a distributed cognitive system at each modeling unit. First, students, instruments, and the primitive form of calculation represented by the interaction between them turned out to be important factors in the distributed cognitive system that constitutes model of the experiment. Second, in the early stages, non-verbal activities were carried out in which students became familiar with instruments, and verbal quantitative signs were created when the activities were sufficiently carried out. The generated quantitative signs became a source of data and confidence that can be referenced in subsequent activities. Third, the specialization of instrumentalization occurred, and factors that were important in inquiry, such as variable control, appeared. The results of the study provide new implications for science education research and education, which have been centered on explanatory models, by unfolding the characteristics of model of the experiment that have not been noticed in science education through students' inquiry.

  • Advertisements in modern era are not intended to be consumed only as commercial purposes, but consumed also as cultural and artistic purposes. Advertising contents' success depends on Semiotic codes revealed in advertising texts. Advertising scholar Ozoh (1998) argued that perspectives for advertising are divided into two perspective, one as marketing tool perspective and the other as communication processes perspective. Advertising planning, advertising management, advertising, and advertising evaluation of marketing perspective are significantly different from those of communication perspective. Two perspectives of advertising present various debates on what contents of advertising messages are and how advertising messages are made up. In this research manuscripts, we discuss story telling as communication tool of advertising text in terms of cultural semiotics. That is, meaning value of goods is so well revealed in use value of goods that they satisfy consumers' needs, we analyze how they satisfy consumers' needs in semiotic(symbolic) process. We apply Gremas's semantic model to coffee advertisements in France and Korea, and analyze various differences between differentiation strategies of French coffee advertisements and those of Korean coffee advertisements in terms of semiotic perspective.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the breakfast patterns and preference with 380 elementary school student in Inchon city using questionnaires. As a result, the subjects were mostly eaten steamed rice with other side dishes and also expected Korean-style steamed rice as a breakfast. The main reason of skipping meal was lack of time. Gruel, bread, cereal, noodle were hardly selected as a breakfast. BMI(body mass index) and Broca index were normal range. Therefore, these results need to provide nutritional education for the elementary school students and reflect the patterns of breakfast through importance and diversity.

Quality Characteristics of Cookies prepared with Chinese Sweet Tea Leaf (Rubus suavissimus S. Lee) Powder (첨차(Rubus suavissimus S. Lee) 분말을 첨가한 쿠키의 품질 특성)

  • The aim of this study was to propose a mixing proportion by adding Rubus suavissimus powder, and to determine the characteristic of the product. The spread factor and the hardness, moisture contents, and soluble solids content of the cookies significantly increased with an increase in Rubus suavissimus powder, although the pH of the dough, and L values of the cookies decreased when increasing the Rubus suavissimus powder content (p<0.001). Total phenolic contents and DPPH free radical scavenging activity of cookies significantly increased when more Rubus suavissimus powder was added. The antioxidant activity was highly correlated with the total phenolic composition of sweet tea leaf cookies(r=0.976). Additionally, the consumer acceptability scores for the 6% sweet tea leaf cookie groups ranked significantly(p<0.001) higher than those of the other groups in overall preference. In conclusion, the results of this study suggest that Rubus suavissimus powder is a good ingredient for increasing the functionality of cookies.

Morphological, Physiological andd Biochemical Characteristics of Early Senescence Mutant in Rice (Oryza sativa L) (벼의 조기노화 변이체의 형태, 생리 및 생화학적 특성)

  • The early senescence mutant induced from Gihobyeo by $\gamma-ray$ irradiation was determined. The mutated gene expression was identified with comparing the characteristic of original cultivar. The mutant had so similar the morphological characteristics to original cultivar that it couldn't be distinguished until senescence occurred at about 20 days after heading. Suddenly yellow leaves were observed within a few days due to great decreases in total chlorophyll and various carotenoid contents. Transmission electron microscopy showed the formation of starch granules, distortion of fine structure of leaf cell organelles, especially grana structures, and the decrease in grain filled after senescence occurred. But banding patterns of total proteins and isozymes have not show any differences, The early senescence mutant will be very useful for study material not only on physiological and biochemical properties of plant senescence but also on gene expression regulating senescence which gives great influence on yield potential and its stability.

  • The standards for instructional media and equipments imply an essential element for curriculum. In knowledge-based society, school libraries are an educational environment to assist curriculum, offer information literacy and reading services. Therefore the standards for school libraries instructional media and equipments are able to suggest the mission of school library media center, and it should contain suitable elements for educational roles. But the current standards are insufficient from quantitatively as well as qualitatively.
