Image Destylization (영상 디스타일화)

  • We propose an image filtering technique that removes various image styles. To destylize a given image, we define image styles as repeated patterns existing in the image. For dll pixels of the image, we compute image styles as style vectors. We remove image styles by using bilateral filtering based on these style vectors. Destylization results show well smoothed images while preserving feature boundaries. Our method effectively removes image styles and reveals image structures clearly, and results can be applied to several applications such as texture transfer.

Bidirectional Associations between the Negative Emotionality of 0-to 3-year-old Children and Maternal Warmth / Reactivity (0세부터 3세까지 영유아의 부정적 정서성과 어머니의 온정성/반응성 간의 양방향적 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the bidirectional relationship between the negative emotionality of 0-to 3-year-old and maternal parenting styles, focusing on warmth and reactivity. Four waves of panel data from the Korean Children Panel Study(KCPS) were analyzed in this study by means of autoregressive cross-lagged modeling. The results of this study were as follows. First, negative emotionality and maternal parenting styles were consistently stable for 0-to 3-year-old. Second, a bidirectional relationship between negative emotionality and maternal warmth parenting styles was confirmed according to the appearance of both parent and child effects. In other words, higher levels of negative emotionality was associated with lower maternal warmth parenting styles across time and in both directions. Additionally, the relationship between negative emotionality and maternal reactivity parenting styles were partially identified as being bidirectional in nature, whilst also being related to age. These findings suggested that parent education aimed at strengthening parenting skills, and programs designed to relieve negative emotionality of 0-to 3-year-olds are clearly needed.

  • 본 논문에서는 디지털 사이니지와 스마트폰간의 양방향 광고 및 정보 전송이 가능한 차세대 광고 모델을 제안한다. 디지털 사이니지는 옥외라는 공간의 특성상 지나가는 사람들에게 짧은 시간 동안 주목을 유도해 광고를 노출시켜야 하고 설명형 광고 표출이 어려운 공간적인 한계를 가지고 있다. 반면 스마트폰은 사용자들과 물리적으로나 심리적 거리상으로 가장 밀접한 위치에 있고 언제 어디서나 무선인터넷과 애플리케이션을 활용할 수 있어 광고효과가 뛰어난 매체이다. 따라서 디지털 사이지니 앞을 지나가며 관심있는 정보나 광고를 스마트폰으로 전송 받고 원하는 시간과 장소에서 스마트폰으로 본다면 디지털 사이지니 광고매체의 공간적 한계를 극복하고 광고효과를 높일 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 디지털 사이니지를 활용한 개인형 모바일 광고에 대한 요구사항을 도출하였고, 향후 실제 시스템을 구축할 계획이다.

  • 인터넷이 급속도로 성장함에 따라 대형화된 망을 효과적으로 운용하기 위해서는 망 상태를 정확하게 파악하는 일이 매우 중요하다. 망 상태를 파악하기 위한 한 방법으로 능동적 측정 방법을 이용한 종단간 성능 측정 방법이 있다. 본 연구에서는 지금까지 능동적 측정 인자로 사용되던 양방향 인자들의 문제점들을 보완한 새로운 측정 대상인 단방향 인자들을 측정하기 위한 측정 도구를 구현하였다. 단방향 측정에서는 무엇보다 측정 대상인 종단간의 시간 동기화가 가장 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 GPS 위성 신호를 이용하여 정확한 시간 동기화를 하였으며, 실제 망에 적용하여 단방향 인자들을 측정한 결과를 분석하였다.

Design Optimization of Two-Way Pump Casing through Flow Analysis (양방향 펌프의 유동 해석을 통한 펌프 케이싱의 최적설계)

  • A two-way pump can reduce costs by draining and circulating water out and into the drum of the washing machine using a single motor whereas a conventional one-way pump uses two motors for doing the same function. However, when the water is drained through the drainage outlet in the two-way pump casing, a backward or inhalation flow occurs and the water flows to the circulation outlet. Likewise, when the water is circulated, the backward flow or inhalation makes the water flow to the drainage outlet. In this study, design optimization of the two-way pump casing is performed to maximize its performance while improving backward flow and inhalation occurring inside of the pump casing. For this, design variables of the pump casing that mainly affect the performance of the pump such as flow rate and torque of the motor were selected through the analysis of mean. Using response surface models for the performances, the ratio of the flow rate to the torque was maximized with satisfying the constraints for the back flow and inhalation through design optimization.

  • The current study investigates factors affecting intent to use of T-Commerce in enhanced TV programs. from the perspective of e-commerce users who have experienced terrestrial data broadcasting services. The research model hypothesizes the relationship among independent variables such as perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and the dependent variable, intent to use of T-Commerce. In addition, the moderating effect of user innovativeness is also analyzed. The results reveal the significant and positive relationship between perceived usefulness of e-commerce and intent to use of T-Commerce. Besides, the moderating role of user innovativeness is confined to the effect of the perceived usefulness on intent of use of T-Commerce. The findings of this study provide an implication that customer attracting strategies for potential T-Commerce users have to be differentiated based on the status in the T-Commerce development process.

Block-based Reliability Evaluation Method for FRUC Techniques Using Bi-lateral Symmetrical Motion Estimation (양방향 대칭형 탐색에 기초한 FRUC기법을 위한 블록기반 신뢰성 평가 방법)

  • FRUC(Frame Rate Up Conversion) is core techniques for higher quality terminals or low channel rate. For these applications, in this paper, we propose a block-based reliability evaluation method for FRUC techniques using bi-lateral symmetrical motion estimation. First, in order to measure the reliability, by introducing cost evaluation tools such as motion vector consistency as well as temporal matching and spatial matching characteristics and then by combining these tools, we propose an efficient method which arrange the blocks according to distortion size. Through several simulations, it is shown that the proposed method is very effective in finding the high distortion blocks. Furthermore, it is expected that the proposed method can be effectively utilized in FRUC techniques and Distributed Video Coding technologies.

  • In this Paper, we discuss an active TCP link of unsynchronized transmission mode network in two-way traffic and the Improvement of its traffic patron thorough the network pathway of protocol is shown. This is because the traffic pattern is performed on the basis of existing windows which are distributing information in several periods of time in the way of interfacing LTS control module, which is controlling by an information of exceeding the time limit of feedback loop determined by RTP, with TCP. The simulation to utilize this efficiently is performed with the circumstance of bench mark based on physical modeling of the self-similarity traffic in the performance of TCP. In this paper, we use a methodology to understand and evaluate the effect of change of transmitting protocol in sticks under the condition of the self-similar traffic in two-way network and it is shown that an improvement of congestion control by self-similarity under a heavy condition.

  • 본 논문에서는 주어진 영상을 필터링하여 영상의 스타일을 제거하는 방법을 제시한다. 스타일이 제거된 영상은 영상 분류, 특징점 인식, 영상 분할 등의 다양한 용도에 쓰일 수 있다. 또한 원래 영상과 스타일이 제거된 영상을 비교하여 영상의 스타일을 유추할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이를 위해 주어진 영상에서 스타일 벡터를 계산한 후 계산된 스타일 벡터를 이용하여 영상에 양방향 필터링을 적용한다. 이 때 영상의 경계 부분에서 스타일을 효과적으로 분리하는 방법과 다중 해상 처리 방법을 적용하여 다양한 크기와 방향의 스타일을 찾아낸다. 그 결과 주어진 영상에서 다양한 크기와 방향의 스타일을 제거하고 영상의 중요한 내용만을 효과적으로 나타낸다.

Evaluation of Load Transfer Characteristics of Barrette Pile Based on Bi-directional Loading Tests (양방향 재하시험결과를 활용한 바렛말뚝의 하중전이특성 평가)

  • Due to the increased size of civil infrastructure and the cost of materials, the needs exists for utilizing large sized cast-inplace piles in lieu of conventional precast piles. Among them, the barrette pile has become more commonly used in fields where a diaphragm wall is the retaining wall, to improve workability and economical efficiency, and to ensure hole stability under deep soil layers. In this paper, the bearing capacity and displacement characteristics of the barrette pile are evaluated by using the bi-directional loading test data obtained from four different sites. In addition, the design value of pile shaft resistance, ${\beta}$, is assessed with previous literatures and load transfer analysis. Finally, numerical analyses were performed to analyze the load-displacement behavior, and the interface effect on the piles, using the 3-dimensional finite element method.
