  • 본 논문은 지문 이미지에 존재하는 애매함을 퍼지 로직을 이용한 표현으로 기존의 융선 추적법의 단점을 보완한다. 지문의 근방의 질을 퍼지 집합의 상대 크기와 근방 명암의 분산을 이용하여 판단한 후 근방의 지문의 질이 좋고 나쁨에 즉각적으로 다른 방법을 사용하여 지문의 융선을 추적하는 새로운 융선 추적법을 제안 설계한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 화자 식별에서 음성신호의 애매한 점을 보완할 수 있는 신경회로망의 오차역전파학습 알고리즘과 모음구간 검출에 기초하여 입력되는 음성의 화자 패턴을 구분하는 일본어 단어 패턴인식 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘에서는 일본어 데이터베이스로부터의 단어를 사용하여 음성의 특징벡터를 추출하여 분석하고 이러한 음성의 특징벡터의 차이를 이용하여 일본어 화자에 대한 패턴인식 실험을 수행하였다.

  • 본 학술기사에서는 최근 구조공학에 응용이 활성화되고 있는 퍼지 이론에 대하여 간단히 설명을 하였다. 그리고 퍼지이론의 구조공학 적용 예로, 본 저자가 수행한 퍼지이론을 이용한 원형 CFT의 구속응력 평가 과정을 간략히 소개하였다. 이 예에서도 알 수 있듯이 퍼지이론은 부정확성, 지식의 부족, 애매함에 기인하는 불확실성을 다루는데 있어 적합한 것을 알 수 있으며, 여러 불확성에 인하여 발생하는 오차를 줄이는데 적합한 것으로 판단된다.

  • 사람은 문서를 읽을때 문서 전체를 읽지 않더라도 대표적인 단어를 보는 것만으로 정치, 경제, 교육, 스포츠 등의 분야를 정확히 인지한다. 이러한 단어를 분야연상어로 정의하고, 빈도수 조사를 통해 전자사전에 자동으로 구축한다. 이러한 분야연상 어는 문서의 초기인식 시 어느 분야인지 분명하지 않거나 애매한 경우에도 문서를 읽어가면서 분야를 인지할 수 있도록 도와준다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 특성을 가지고 있는 분야연상어를 이용하여 시스템에 새로운 문서가 주어질 때 해당 문서의 분야정보를 추출하고 분야연상어의 분포정보를 인간에게 그래픽컬 하게 보여줄 수 있도록 분야인식기를 설계하고 구현한다.

  • 선박운항통제란 관제구역 내 기상특보가 발효되거나 시계가 500미터 이하로 불량한 경우 운항을 통제하는 행정규칙이다. 이는 저시정 및 기상특보가 발효한 위험한 상황에서 통항을 통제하여 사고위험을 대비하는 행정규칙이나 국지적이고 예측 불가능한 특성의 안개와 넓은 관제구역에 어느 지점이 500미터 이하라는 기준 적용의 애매함으로 인해 선박운항자 및 관계자들로부터 민원이 발생하고 있다. 이에 대하여 선박운항통제에 대한 근거법 해석과 운항통제의 실제적인 문제점에 대한 개선점을 모색해보고자 한다.

  • Pheochromocytoma is a rare tumor of childhood, arising from adrenal medullary and chromaffin tissue. Because chronic hypoxia may induce pheochromocytoma, there have been several reports of pheochromocytoma development in cyanotic patients after corrective or palliative cardiac surgery. The variable clinical presentation of pheochromocytoma is obscured by both underlying heart disease and medications. If sudden hypertension, aggravation of a heart condition, or unusual symptoms such as diabetes mellitus develops in a cyanotic patient with congenital heart disease, pheochromocytoma must be ruled out. We report two patients presenting with cyanotic single-ventricle heart disease with pheochromocytoma.

  • This paper presents the core competencies diagnosis system which targeted our collegiate students in an attempt to induce the core competencies for reinforcing the learning and employment capabilities. Because these days data give rise to a high level of redundancy and dimensionality with time complexity, they are more likely to have spurious relationships, and even the weakest relationships will be highly significant by any statistical test. So as to address the measurement of uncertainties from the classification of categorical data and the implementation of its analytic system, an uncertainty measure of rough entropy and information entropy is defined so that similar behaviors analysis is carried out and the clustering ability is demonstrated in the comparison with the statistical approach. Because the acquired and necessary competencies of the collegiate is deduced by way of the results of the diagnosis, i.e. common core competencies and major core competencies, they facilitate not only the collegiate life and the employment capability reinforcement but also the revitalization of employment and the adjustment to college life.

  • The prevention of marine accidents has been a major topic in marine society and various polides and countermeasures rave been developed, applied to the industries. 1he coastal VIS and navigational aids are considered as one of the effective methods to promote marine safety but they need relatively huge amount of budgets to build Thus prior to establishing these coastal VIS and navigational aids, it should be evaluated the navigational safety level in the coastal waterways from the Environmental Stress. So far as human beings are concerned, there are many types of fuzziness in the evaluation of navigational safety level. In order to reflect these fuzziness on this evaluation, this paper introduces the fuzzy integral suggested by Choquet to represent the fuzziness in the evaluation process. This paper aims to develop the method for this evaluation from the viewpoint of mariner's operational stress using the fuzzy measure and Choquet integral. In this paper, Korean coastal area is divided into 8 sectors and evaluated the priority for the needs of coastal VIS and navigational aids.

  • As the elderly population increases, real-time personal health monitoring is gaining new ground with advances in wireless communications. Such an approach is particularly beneficial to elderly and physically challenged people, as well as those who live alone and are not be able to seek help in case of medical emergencies. The aim of this study is to implement a wearable band which monitors personal vital signs, such as the body temperature and heart rate, and assists with healthcare decisions using a fuzzy logic based decision support system. Since the vital sign data measured from sensors are imprecise and their normal variation with age is nonlinear and not crisp, a fuzzy system is employed to deal with this imprecise or uncertain information. The proposed wearable band is designed to continuously capture and transmit vital signs and healthcare decisions to suitable apps developed for smartphones. In this way, health alerts can be sent to the guardian or caregiver who is registered in the apps.

  • In context-aware computing environment, some context is characterized by a single event, but many other contexts are determined by a sequence of events which happen with some timing constraints. Therefore context inference could be conducted by monitoring the sequence of event occurrence along with checking their conformance with timing constraints. Some context could be described with fuzzy concepts instead of concrete concepts. Multiple entities may interact with a service system in the context-aware environments, and thus the context inference mechanism should be equipped to handle multiple entities in the same situation. This paper proposes a context inference model which is based on the so-called fuzzy colored timed Petri net. The model represents and handles the sequential occurrence of some events along with involving timing constraints, deals with the multiple entities using the colored Petri net model, and employs the concept of fuzzy tokens to manage the fuzzy concepts.
