Preparation and Characteristics of Kimchi Tablet (김치 타블렛의 제조와 품질특성)

  • In order to prepare kimchi tablet(K7), the kimchi was fermented with crushed materials and lactic acid bacterial starter. The effect of raying methods (hot air-drying : HAD, freeze drying: FD), moulding pressure (100, 150 and 200 kg/cm2) and moulding time (0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 min) of kimchi tablet on residual solid, characteristics of filtrate, color, textual properties, hygroscopicity and sensory quality were investigated. No great difference showed in residual solid of the tablet prepared with freeze dried kimchi (FD-KT), but the tablet prepared with hot air-dried kimchi (HAD-KT) decreased markedly with an increase in moulding pressure. Residual solid of FD-KT was lower than that of HAD-KT. The pH and redness for HAD-KT and FD-KT were similar. Total sugar. acidity and lightness of FD-KT as compared with HAD-KT were higher, while higher max, yield, strength and hardness were found for HAD-KT. Color, tactile, flavor, chewing taste, acceptability and hygroscopicity of FD-KT were generally higher than those of HAD-KT. Hygroscopicity of HAD-KT decreased with an increase in moulding pressure in md time, but that of FD-KT increased. Overall qualities of FD-KT and HAD-KT showed best in 200 kg/㎠ of moulding pressure, 3min of moulding time.

  • 본 연구에서는 수치모사로 부터 단위 전지 양극가스내 질소 조성과 각 가스의 순환에 따른 단위전지내의 온도분포 및 성능변화를 구하였다. 양극가스내 질소의 영향은 냉각효과로 나타났고 순환비가 증가할수록 전지내의 온도와 전지의 성능은 감소하였다. 작동압력이 증가할수록 전지의 성능은 증가하였고, 기전력변화 대 압력의 상용대수변화의 직선의 기울기는 문헌상의 실험치와 유사하게 나타났다.

B-KNO$_3$ 점화제의 노화 현상 분석

  • 추진제의 노화 못지 않게 점화제의 노화도 추진 기관 성능에 큰 영향을 미칠 것으로 예측된다. 따라서 10년 이상 경과된 활성 모터에서 점화기를 분해하여 노화에 의한 점화제의 성능 변화를 알아보았다. 분석에 사용한 점화제는 II-D Bi-Convex형상의 B-KNO$_3$ 펠렛으로 열량, 자동 점화온도, 기계적 물성의 변화를 관찰하였고, 밀폐 용기(Closed bomb)에서 연소시험을 통하여 노화에 따른 점화알약의 압력변화를 측정하고 이론 값과 비교하였다. 또한 비활성 모타를 이용한 연소시험으로 점화기의 점화지연시간, 최대 압력, 최대 압력 도달시간 등을 측정하고 이론식과 비교하여 노화에 의한 변화를 관찰하였다.

Velocity-porosity relationships in oceanic basalt from eastern flank of the Juan de Fuca Ridge: The effect of crack closure on seismic velocity (Juan do Fuca 해저산맥의 동쪽 측면으로부터 얻은 해양성 현무암의 속도와 공극률의 관계: 균열닫힘이 탄성파 속도에 미치는 영향)

  • To construct in situ velocity-porosity relationships for oceanic basalt, considering crack features, P- and S-wave velocity measurements on basaltic samples obtained from the eastern flank of the Juan de Fuca Ridge were carried out under confining pressures up to 40 MPa. Assuming that the changes in velocities with confining pressures are originated by micro-crack closure, we estimated micro-crack aspect ratio spectra using the Kuster-$Toks{\ddot{o}}z$ theory. The result demonstrates that the normalised aspect ratio spectra of the different samples have similar characteristics. From the normalised aspect ratio spectrum, we then constructed theoretical velocity-porosity relationships by calculating an aspect ratio spectrum for each porosity. In addition, by considering micro-crack closure due to confining pressure, a velocity-porosity relationship as a function of confining pressure could be obtained. The theoretical relationships that take into account the aspect ratio spectra are consistent with the observed relationships for over 100 discrete samples measured at atmospheric pressure, and the commonly observed pressure dependent relationships for a wide porosity range. The agreement between the laboratory-derived data and theoretically estimated values demonstrates that the velocity-porosity relationships of the basaltic samples obtained from the eastern flank of the Juan de Fuca Ridge, and their pressure dependence, can be described by the crack features (i.e. normalised aspect ratio spectra) and crack closure.

  • In this paper, the control strategy of ratio changing system for a metal belt CVT adopting primary pressure regulation is developed, and the shirting performance of pressure regulating type CVT with the suggested control strategy is investigated. The control strategy suggested in this study is composed of 2 feedback loop, one is speed ratio feedback and the other is primary pressure feedback. The pressure feedback is adopted to ensure prohibiting a belt slip during transient period in a fast downshift mode. Simulation results show that the system with suggested control strategy gives appropriate response time and tracking Performance for upshift and also gives a proper primary pressure which can prohibit the belt slip. In addition, it is fecund that the given system has an acceptable servo property in tracking the target speed ratio and robustness for the disturbance of line pressure.

  • Experiments have been performed to test the analytical tools developed concurrently for the motion-related unsteady pressure in annular passages. The outer cylindrical body was oscillated by a shaker in either rocking motion about a hinge-point or lateral translation motion. In the equilibrium configuration the two bodies are either concentric or eccentric, in the plane of oscillation or normal to it. The unsteady pressure generated by the oscillatory motion with low amplitudes (displacement/radius) was measured on wall of the fixed inner cylinder at various axial and azimuthal locations. The unsteady pressure were compared with theoretical predictions, and agreement was found to be within 10%. Experiments have been shown that the effect of flow velocity on the unsteady pressure is minimal and the pressure increases more or less with oscillatory motion, for low flow velocities (Re = 2 900).

  • Solid propellant combustion is investigated for its response to several imposed pressure histories. For this purpose, it is assumed that combustion takes place in a premixed gas evaporated from a uniform melt of solid propellant. One-dimensional unsteady problem is than numerically solved for a pressure coupling, with a steady state as an initial state. The results in response to pressure of finite sinusoidal waves show that unsteady mass fluxes are sometimes quite different from those predicted by the classical quasisteady burning law of Vieile. In addition, abnormal mass flux excursions are captured for a large pressure exponent and a lower melting point.

그리드를 이용한 플라즈마 변수 제어에 따른 Ar/CF4 플라즈마에서 중성종 및 이온들의 분포 변화

  • 그리드 전압을 +20V에서 -20V까지 변화시켜 줌을 이용해 확산 영역의 전자의 온도를 2-0.6eV까지 제어할 수 있었으며, 전자 밀도는 1010cm-3 - 1011cm-3, 플라즈마 전위는 3-25V까지 제어할 수 있었다. <그림1>은 실험결과이다. 그 외 전자의 온도는 입력 전력의 주파수 및 크기에는 거의 무관하나 압력에 반비례하였으며, 밀도는 전력의 크기에 비례하고, 압력에 반비례하나, 전력의 주파수에는 무관하였다. 그리드 전압이 20V에서 -20V로 변함에 따라 전자의 온도가 떨어져 높은 에너지를 가진 전자들이 줄어들게 되어 CF3+의 양은 많아지고 CF2+와 CF+의 양은 상대적으로 줄어들어 CF3+와 CF2+ 비는 4-18 CF3+와 CF+ 비는 2-5까지 변화하였으며, 변화모양은 전자 온도에 크게 의존하였다. <그림2>는 결과를 나타낸 것이다. 그 외 CF3+ / CF2+ 와 CF3+ / CF+는 입력 전력의 크기에 반비례하며, 압력, 가스 주입량에 따라서도 이온들의 분포 변하였다. 그러나 입력 전력의 주파수와는 무관하였다. Appearance mass spectrometry를 이용한 결과 CF, CF 중성종의 분포도 그리드 전압에 따라 변하여 그리드 전압이 높은 경우 더 많이 존재하였다.

  • A performance sensitivity of liquid rocket engine to propellant density or supply pressure change was studied. The analysis program was verified to have 1% error comparing with the measured data of a turbopump-gas generator system. The engine combustion pressure decreases as fuel supply pressure increases due to decreased mixture ratio which reduces the turbine power. The engine combustion pressure increases as fuel density increases because the total propellant flow rate is increased substantially even though mixture ratio is slightly decreased. The engine combustion pressure increases when the oxidizer density or supply pressure increases.

  • Burst pressure of right circular tube is predicted using analytic method, and asymptotic instability pressure of circular tube with roundness defect is found using FEM. Burst tests of nearly right circular tube specimens are carried out and predictions are compared with burst pressures and their accuracy is discussed. It is confirmed that FEM is useful for prediction of burst pressure.
