  • 간접광고의 한형태인 영화나 드라마 속에 제품배치(PPL)는 온셋 배치와 크리에이티브 배치로 분류할 수 있다. 온셋 배치(on-set placement)는 맥락효과 속에 전경(foreground)에 해당되며, 크리에이티브 배치(creative placement)는 배경에 해당되기 때문에 소비자의 정보처리에 의한 기억효과가 다르게 나타난다. 온셋배치의 경우 자극의 현저성으로 인하여 정교화 가능성 모델이론의 설득의 중심경로를 통한 정보처리효과가 나타나기 때문에 명시적 학습을 하게 된다. 반면에 드라마 배경에 해당하는 PPL의 크리에이티브 배치는 정교화의 수단이 낮아서 배경의 여러 단서들과 함께 설득의 주변경로를 통한 정보처리를 할 것이다. 따라서 암묵적 학습을 할 가능성이 높게 나타나게 된다. 이러한 제품배치의 형태에 따른 학습기억의 형태는 조절변수인 관여도에 따라 다르게 나타날 것이다. 제품관여도가 높은 경우에는 크리에이티브 배치를 하여도 명시적 학습을 할 가능성이 많은 반면 제품관여도가 낮은 경우 크리에이티브 배치를 하게 되면, 암묵적 학습효과가 미약하거나 일어나지 않을 가능성이 많다. 그러므로 제품관여도가 낮은 상품의 경우에는 제품배치시 가능한한 크리에이티브 배치피하는 것이 유리 할 것이다.

Validity of giftedness based on clusters (영재성 요인의 분야별 타당화 연구)

  • The purpose of the present study is to examine implicit capabilities of giftedness by Korean adults and to validate the features of giftedness by asking the gifted students in science, liberal arts, and ordinary. Existing researches have problems as follows; they will make a high error when we distinguish gifted students who applied to various changeable conditions because they only use total score without their sub-attributes and because they designed from the viewpoint of age. And they are difficult and complex for students to understand. This study is composed of two parts, Study 1 and Study 2. In study 1, we examined and analyzed the Korean's implicit concept of giftedness to 328 adults. In Study 2, the features of the Koreans' implicit concept for giftedness were validated to 1154 students in science, liberal arts, and ordinary. Giftedness features and patterns were identified by factor analysis. In the last place, we suggested the distribution of T-value scale for each feature of giftedness.

The Existence of Implicit Frames in VR Movies (VR 영화에서 암묵적 프레임의 존재)

  • VR movies form a relationship with the audience in completely different ways from general movies with their screen. In VR movies, the audience becomes the camera and also the subject of the camera viewpoint, which raises a need for a frame theory unique to VR movies to examine the first person viewpoint and replace the edition of frames to deliver a narrative. In VR movies, the frames delivering a narrative are not revealed and perform the symbolic narrative function, thus being called "implicit frames." The study discussed their related theoretical backgrounds including Russian Ark made in the one shot, one cut method by Alexander Sokurov, off-screen elements, and the Fourth Wall. In VR movies, the audience gets immersed in the narrative based on their paradoxical dilemma, which means that they exist in reality but are absent on screen at the same time, and experiences hyper-reality. In VR movies, space has a couple of attributes including the blocking of eyeline to move it and telepresence to tie up presence between reality and virtuality.

  • This study investigates the underlying mechanism of YOLO in millennial consumer, especially the influence of perceived economic recession on the present-biased preference. In addition, it was attempted to expand the implicit theory by proposing the individual's entity belief as a mediator for the effect of perceived economic situation on consumers' present-biased seeking behavior. In three experimental studies, undergraduate students who both highly primed and measured negative economic situation showed more favorable attitudes towards present-biased persuasive message and related products. The results of this research provides practical implication for marketers especially in the current situation experiencing economic slowdown due to low economic growth and COVID 19.

  • Lying has been such a wrong act in human society, but at the same time we are perpetrating lying surprisingly often in the interpersonal situation. Like this, between what we think and what we do about telling lie is pretty different, and these differences are came from ambivalent attitudes stemmed from different sources which is divided into the implicit and the explicit attitude. We find manipulative liars by simulated racing task by using virtual environment. Implicit Association Test was applied to them to see implicit beliefs, and used self-reported questionnaires to identify explicit attitude about lying. As a result they could manipulate the explicit measures but could not maneuver their own implicit attraction to lie Liars' deceptive behaviors usually occur in subtle and covert way so that it has been hard to notice and to know what lead them to lie. However, as we know those spontaneous process is linked with deception, triggering them lie, it became no more veiled, unpredictable actions.

  • To do this, study of human memory and theoretical approach on form in general is carried out to compare the types of memories and the stage of perceive theoretically to discover the relationship between psychological perceive and form. In the second please, scenario of form recognition in cultural aspect is studied through various written records to obtain unbiased critics on what a person can feel from a form through various analysis and experiment. Examples will be given on products designed on the basis of correlation with form through analysis. Through this procedure, elements of reactions on implicit and explicit is derived (Data obtained from experiments on computers and inquiries are used) Analyzed elements are than divided into, general knowledge, memories of reality and subconsciousness memories and basic mental image and user mental image and mental image of form of each products are analyzed. In the third phase, the way of adapting of the elements obtained from the analysis of implicit and explicit reaction to the field of design is predicted. Together with this, future theme this the study will be suggested. Confusions obtained from this study can be listed as below.

Implicit Representations of Relationship with the Powerful and the Powerless Other in Korean College Students (대학생의 강자-약자와의 관계에 대한 암묵적 표상)

  • This study was conducted to explore college students' implicit identification with others powerful or powerless, and implicit association of self-enhancement & authenticity with their relationships with others powerful or powerless. The study was based on measuring 3 sorts of IAT: an explicit identification test, RWA, & RISC. The results were summed up as follows: Students identified their selves with others more powerful than others powerless; expressed self-enhancement when they were with powerful others; and associated 'true' with relationship with others powerful. Men with high RWA & women with low RWA identified their selves more with others powerful; low RWA & high RISC groups' associated relationship with others powerful to 'true' and others powerless to 'false' more rapidly. These results were discussed in terms of structure of authoritarianism, SEM, relationship with others powerful and powerless.

Children's Implicit Understanding about Theory of Mind (마음이론에 대한 아동의 암묵적 이해)

  • This study examined the difference in children's performance between two types of task by the number of protagonists and children's implicit understanding of false-belief. The implicit measure by eye gaze was contrasted with children's explicit answers to the experimenter's question about where the protagonist would look for an object. Results showed there was no difference according to the task type by number of protagonists. On false-belief, 2- and 3-year-olds showed low performance compared with 4-year-olds on explicit responses. On implicit responses, 3- and 4-year-olds out-performed 2-year-olds. These results suggest that implicit understanding precedes explicit understanding.

Characteristics of Student Inquiry Found in Project-based Science Practices: Focusing on Theory-Evidence-Method Coordinations and Skills in Using Tools (프로젝트 기반 과학 활동 과정에서 나타나는 학생 탐구의 특징: 증거-이론-방법의 조정과 도구 사용의 솜씨를 중심으로)

  • This study aims to explore the characteristics of student inquiry found in project-based science practices. The participants were four high school students in a science research club and worked their own project for one semester. During the project, they made their research questions, planned and executed their research procedures, and made their own conclusion. Their activities during the project were videotaped and recorded. They were also interviewed. Group worksheets and written reports were all collected for analyses. The whole processes of the inquiry were analyzed and interpreted qualitatively. The characteristics of student inquiry were presented in the view of the theory-evidence-method coordination. Three different modes of the coordinations that were found recursively in their inquiry were the theory-evidence coordination, the evidence-method coordination, and the theory-evidence-method coordination. It was also revealed that students' tacit knowledge using various tools were exhibited and these skills improved during their group works. The implications for school science inquiry education and research based on this study are discussed.
