Avoidance the specified frequency of stabilization system with Gyro (영상 안정화 시스템 특정 주파수 회피)

  • Stabilizing systems with Gyroscope are extensively used in various tracking devices for attaining the system's objective. Because of putting performance first in importance of system and focusing on specification of parts, designers are sometimes passing over the dynamic characteristics of system in vibrating condition. In this paper, we were dealing with unstable stabilizing control due to coincidence of stabilization platform natural frequency and that of Gyroscope used for sensing rate. For solving this problem, statics and dynamic test of silicon rubber with 3 different hardness were performed and similar stabilizing system was adopted to prove reasonability of rubber choice and static pre-strain.

Robust Controller Design for Hydraulic Dipod Platform Based on 2-DOF H Controller Synthesis Framework (2자유도 H 제어기 종합 프레임웍에 기반한 유압식 Dipod 플랫폼의 강인제어기 설계)

  • A hydraulic dipod platform is used for tracking and stabilizing an antenna system to designate a satellite on a moving vehicle. The 2-DOF controller is very well suited to this controller design object because it is more flexible than the 1-DOF controller when the design object is not only the consideration between stabilizing and tracking but also the trade-off between performance and robustness. The 2-DOF controller synthesis based on the $H_{\infty}$ framework is divided into two design procedures. In this hydraulic dipod platform example, the single-step method shows better performance whereas the two-step method shows better robustness. The difference between these two synthesis results is compared using the structural property of the interconnection system matrix.

Integral Histogram-based Framework for Rapid Object Tracking (고속 객체 검출을 위한 적분 히스토그램 기반 프레임워크)

  • In this paper we propose a very rapid moving object tracking method for an object-based auto focus on a smart phone camera. By considering the limit of non-learning approach on low-performance platforms, we use a sliding-window detection technique based on histogram features. By adapting the integral histogram, we solve the problem of the time-consuming histogram computation on each sub-window. For more speed up, we propose a local candidate search, and an adaptive scaling template method. In addition, we propose to apply a stabilization term in the matching function for a stable detection location. In experiments on our dataset, we demonstrated that we achieved a very rapid tracking performance demonstrating over 100 frames per second on a PC environment.

  • The development of blockchain-based art trading platforms has not been revitalized despite the recent recovery of the cryptocurrency market. In this paper, we found that blockchain-based art trading platform is not revitalized due to the large volatility of cryptocurrency price. As a solution, we propose a trading system using dual types of cryptocurrency that one is Stablecoin and the other is legacy cryptocurrency. Through cryptocurrency dualization, the proposed system can satisfy both user's requirements of stability of art price and value growth of the blockchain system. In addition, the proposed system is expected to be able to balance the use of dual cryptocurrencies and market capitalization ratios according to market principles. Finally, the proposed cryptocurrency dualization is expected to be used in other applications that require both the stability of the value of transactions and the growth of the value of the blockchain system.

Study on Gravitational Torque Estimation and Compensation in Electrically Driven Satellite Antenna System (전기식으로 구동하는 위성안테나 시스템의 중력토크 추정 및 보상에 관한 연구)

  • The weight of an antenna system pointing satellite on the mobile platform is restricted by the weight limit of the mobile platform. The maximum power of the actuator driving the antenna system is thus limited because a high power actuator needs a heavier weight. Thus, a drive system is designed to have a low torque requirement by reducing the gravitational torque depending on gravity or acceleration of the mobile platform, including vibration, shock, and accelerated motion. To reduce the gravitational torque, the mathematical model of the gravitational torque is preferentially obtained. However, the method to directly estimate the mathematical model in an antenna system has not previously been reported. In this paper, a method is proposed to estimate the gravitational torque as a mathematical model in the antenna system. Additionally, a method is also proposed to calculate the optimal weight of the balancing weight to compensate for the gravitational torque.

  • 최근 무선통신의 발전과 스마트 폰 사용자의 급격한 증가로 인하여 멀티미디어 콘텐츠에 대한 사용이 증가되면서 트래픽 량과 네트워크 속도 증가에 대한 요구가 급속히 증대되고 있다. 이를 위해 LTE, LTE-Advanced, Mobile WiMAX 등 차세대 이동통신 플랫폼 및 연관 기술들이 많이 제안되고 있다. 이에 따라 차세대 이동 통신 프로토콜 개발 단계부터 안정화 단계까지 프로토콜 검증 및 분석을 위한 프로토콜 분석기가 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 LTE-Advanced 망에서 L3 프로토콜들을 분석할 수 있는 분석기를 제안한다. 제안하는 분석기는 연동 메시지를 XML 메타데이터로 기술하여 분석 시 활용하며, ASN.1 인코딩된 연동 메시지나 바이너리 인코딩된 메시지를 디코딩하여 분석할 수 있는 기법을 적용하였다. 자체 설계된 LTE-Advanced 망과의 연동 테스트를 통해 본 시스템을 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 카메라 또는 카메라 플랫폼의 흔들림 등의 외부 영향과 비디오 시퀸스내의 모션이 함께 있을 경우의 출렁이는 비디오를 전자적으로 안정화시키는 방법을 제안한다. 일반적인 영상 안정 시스템은 모션 측정과 모션 보상의 두과정으로 구성되어 있다. 모션 측정에서 프레임간 모션 모델을 가정하고 모션 파라메타를 측정한다. 모션 보상에서는 측정된 파라메타를 이용하여 현재 영상 좌표계를 기준 영상 좌표계로 변환하고 명암값 보간을 하여 영상안정을 이루어 낸다. 그러나 상기의 방법으로는 카메라 움직임외에 다른 모션 요소가 있을 때 어려움을 겪게 된다 이의 해결을 위해 motion vector scatter diagram(MVSD)에 기반한 지배 모션 측정 방법을 제안한다 이 방법은 영상을 일정영역의 subblock으로 나눈후 각 subblock의 중심을 특징점으로 잡아 correlation 과정을 거쳐 영상간의 모션 벡터를 구한 다음 구해진 모션 벡터로 needle diagram과 MVSD를 구축한다. 구축한 MVSD의 패턴은 모션의 종류에 따라 일정한 모양을 갖게 되는데 이의 분석을 위해 목적함수를 정의하고 피 함수의 최적화를 통해 지배 모션 파라메타를 측정한 후 그 파라메타로 모션 보상을 함으로서 영상안정을 이룰 수 있다.

A Study of Motion for Four-Axis Stabilized Platform Including Effects of Gimbal Bearing Friction (김벌 베어링 마찰의 영향을 고려한 4축 안정화 플랫폼의 운동에 관한 연구)

  • This paper presents a detailed derivation of the equations of motion for the stable member of a four-axis platform. Gimbal bearing friction is considered for motion analysis. First, dynamic characteristics of platform, gimbal and gyro with Coulomb friction are studied due to vehicle's angular motion. Second, Vehicle's motion is assumed the sinusoidal function and dynamic characteristics of platform, gimbal and gyro are studied. Conclusively, considering effects of Coulomb friction, they could not follow the vehicle's angular motion and have constant errors. In case of sinusoidal motion, relative angles for each gimbal are amplified, but they are sinusoidal function with almost the same phases.

  • As a way of augmenting constrained resources of mobile devices such as CPU and memory, many works on mobile cloud computing (MCC), where mobile devices utilize remote resources of cloud services or PCs, have been proposed. Typically, in MCC, many nodes with different operating systems and platform and diverse mobile applications or services are located, and a central manager autonomously performs several management tasks to maintain a consistent level of MCC overall quality. However, as there are a larger number of nodes, mobile applications, and services subscribed by the mobile applications and their interactions are extremely increased, a traditional management method of MCC reveals a fundamental problem of degrading its overall performance due to overloaded management tasks to the central manager, i.e. a bottle neck phenomenon. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a clustering-based optimization method to solve performance-related problems on large-scaled MCC and to stabilize its overall quality. With our proposed method, we can ensure to minimize the management overloads and stabilize the quality of MCC in an active and autonomous way.

Agent-Server based Protocol Analyzer for LTE Network (LTE 망을 위한 에이전트-서버 기반의 프로토콜 분석기)

  • Recently, together with the development of wireless communication technologies and the wide use of smart phones, the demand of the next generation mobile communication has been increased. To construct the next generation mobile communication platform efficiently for a short period from protocol development phase to protocol stability phase, an protocol analyzer is required to verify and analyze the protocol. In this paper, we propose the protocol analyzer of LTE network which is the leader of the next generation mobile communication platforms. The protocol analyzer is a software based agent-server architecture and uses XML metadata which defines intercommunication messages to analyze the protocol of the next generation mobile communications. We can analysis the encoding messages applied to LTE network using the loading of the decoding library. We verify the superiority of the proposed analyzer through an integrated test with LTE network.
