빠른 속도로 다가오는 '고령화' 기업의 대비도 빨라야

  • 우리나라의 고령화는 세계적으로 가장 빠른 속도로 진행되고 있다. 정년 60세 의무화 법안이 통과되고 기업 내 고직급자가 증가하면서, 직업에 임하는 개인들의 인식도 변화하고 있다. 기업은 교육을 통한 역량 강화, 근무 환경 개선, 유연 근무제 등의 방안을 통해 고령화를 대비할 필요가 있다.

Nursing Students' Patient Safety Competency and Patient Safety Management Practice (간호대학생의 환자안전 역량과 환자안전관리 행위)

  • This study was conducted to identify the effects of patient safety competency on patient safety management practice by nursing students and provide basic data for the development of the program to improve patient safety management practice. Participants were 293 fourth year nursing students who had clinical practice as student nurses for more than one year. Data were collected from April 26 to May 9, 2018. Collected data were analyzed for frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson' s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 24.0 computer program. Nursing students' patient safety competency was an average $2.90{\pm}0.38$ points (patient safety knowledge $2.68{\pm}0.65$; patient safety skills $3.26{\pm}0.56$; patient safety attitudes $2.75{\pm}0.40$). The average core of management practices to patient safety recorded $4.13{\pm}0.57$ points. In terms of the correlation among subjects' patient safety knowledge, skills, attitudes and patient safety management practices, significant correlation existed between skills and management practices (r=.337, p<.001), attitudes and management practices (r=-.150, p =.010), knowledge and management practices (r=.171, p=.003). Regression analysis revealed that 15.7% of the variance in patient safety management practice by nursing students could be explained by patient safety skills (${\beta}=.307$, p<.001), patient safety accident experience of Fire (${\beta}=-.127$, p=.026), patient safety attitudes (${\beta}=-.121$, p=.026), and patient safety accident experience of patient education (${\beta}=-.119$, p=.034). Additional studies to determine the various factors affecting patient safety management practice of nursing students and to develop educational program for increasing patient safety management practice should be conducted.

The Validity and Reliability of Safety Competency Tool for Perioperative Nurses (수술실 간호사 안전역량 도구의 타당도 및 신뢰도 검증)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a scale to evaluate the safety competency of perioperative nurses and to examine its validity and reliability. The research process included the development of preliminary items through literature reviews and the construct validity examination of the conceptual framework for the preliminary scale. The content validity of the identified items was evaluated by experts, resulting in 30 preliminary items. The participants involved in testing the validity and reliability of the preliminary scale were 377 perioperative nurses. The data were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis, parallel analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and internal consistency. To verify the construction factor of the preliminary scale, exploratory factor analysis and parallel analysis were performed, resulting in 3 factors and 27 items. The internal structure of the scale was schematized using confirmatory factor analysis and the goodness of fit of the final research model was very appropriate, as shown by the values of TLI=.90, CFI=.91, RMSEA=.07, and SRMR=.07. The final scale consisted of 27 items and 3 factors including knowledge (6 items), skill (13 items), and attitude (8 items). Cronbach' ${\alpha}$ for the final scale was .94, showing good internal consistency. This safety competency scale can be used for assessing the competency of perioperative nurses regarding patient safety, for developing patient safety studies and for the career development of perioperative nurses.

Modeling Core Competencies in the Competency-based Nursing Curriculum (역량기반 간호교육과정을 위한 핵심역량 모델링)

  • The purpose of this study is modeling nursing competencies and reasoning out the core competencies, the ability for 20% of important actions for nursing jobs which can manage the rest 80% so that the competency-based nursing curriculum can be developed. A literature review of the vast studies regarding competencies was done to understand the concepts of competency-based curriculum, competency, and nursing competencies, identifying the relationships among each nursing competency categorized in accordance with those concepts. An exemplified concept map of core competencies for the competency-based nursing curriculum is suggested based on a thorough review of various competency modeling methodologies. The core competencies consist of base competency (theoretical/practical nursing knowledge and skills), practical competency (clinical judgment, patient education, communication, etc.), and personality competency (leadership, sense of responsibility, cooperation, etc.). The circular relationship among them can remain consistent through self-directed learning and critical thinking. Therefore, a nurse who have those core competencies is a knowledge worker, a self-directed learner, and also an effective, professional communicator. Further studies which solidify the concept of nursing competencies should be done, as well as the feedback procedures which evaluate the program outcomes and then reflect the evaluation results in the curriculum should be followed continuously.

Requirements and Self-evaluation of Competencies Necessary to be Effective Nutrition Teachers Perceived by School Food Service Dieticians (학교급식 영양사가 인식하는 효과적인 영양교사의 역량 요구도와 자기 평가)

  • The purposes of the study were to identify a comprehensive competency list related to the jobs of nutrition teachers and to compare the competency needs for nutrition teachers and dieticians' competency levels. Job functional areas and a competency list for nutrition teachers were developed based on a review of literature and revised through expert panel reviews. A total of 53 competency statements associated with 11 job functional areas were specified. Questionnaires were distributed to 457 dieticians engaged in school food service and 148 responses were returned (response rate: 32.4%). Excluding incomplete responses, 142 questionnaires were used for data analysis. Approximately half of the respondents were enrolled in an 1-year nutrition teacher certificate program, 25% in a graduate school of nutrition education, and 19% had completed an 1-year nutrition teacher certificate program. The dieticians highly rated requirements of the competencies related to sanitation and employee safety, nutrition counseling, nutrition education, and teaching practices; in contrary, their competency levels for nutrition education, nutrition counseling, and teaching practices were low. Respondents' competency levels were significantly lower than the required competency levels of effective nutrition teachers in all functional areas. A quadratic analysis based on the requirement and self-evaluation of the competencies revealed that priorities of education programs targeting school nutrition teachers or students preparing to be nutrition teachers should be placed on improving competencies related to nutrition education, nutrition counseling, teaching practices, sanitation and employee safety, menu management, and human resource management. These results can be used to develop curriculum materials for basic and continuing professional education for nutrition teachers. It is necessary to review and update competencies regularly to reflect environmental changes in school food service programs.

A Study on Situations of Safety Education in Universities and University Students' Awareness of Coping Methods for Safety Accidents (대학의 안전교육 현황 및 대학생의 안전사고 대처방법 인식에 관한 연구)

  • This study researched methods for coping with safety accidents by university students, after considering the situation of safety education by universities in Korea. For this study, a survey of 411 students of universities in the cities of Gwangju and Daejeon was conducted. According to the results, the ratio was high for answers such as willingness to participate in safety education beginning with the departments of engineering, art and physical training, education, art and humanity, social sciences and natural sciences, and medical sciences. It was found that university students most preferred first aid among the contents of safety education. University students of all departments answered that they had experienced safety education, but were afraid to be embarrassed in the case of actual safety accidents, as was found through the results of investigations of their awareness of coping methods with safety accidents. It was verified that many times their suffered skin and other wound in an earlier safety accident that they had experienced. This study suggests that safety education needs to be accomplished in the university curriculum, predicting and practicing for causes and factors of danger in advance, in order to improve the level of safety awareness and safety competence among university students.

Influence of Education Program Satisfaction on Core Competence and Self-directed Competence: A Study of Mokpo National Maritime University (사회맞춤형학과 교육 프로그램의 만족도가 핵심역량 및 자기주도역량에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 목포해양대학교 사례를 중심으로 -)

  • Mokpo National Maritime University's Maritime College operates education and training programs that allow students to adapt to the specifics of ships and the oceans. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of student satisfaction on core competencies and self-directed competency through the operation of socially customized education programs. We surveyed the leaders in industry-university cooperation+ education programs, and selected TALK+, an education program capable of statistical analysis, as the focus of our analysis. The TALK+ program connects people in charge of communication with those in charge of reflecting the peculiarities of maritime universities. Data were collected using satisfaction surveys that returned 259 results. These were analyzed using a 5-point Likert scale that showed a high level of satisfaction with an average of 4 points or more. The satisfaction level showed that there is positive correlation between satisfaction levels and core competency and self-directed competency. In addition, a linear regression analysis was performed, and the results showed that satisfaction has a statistically significant effect on the improvement of core competencies and self-directed competencies (p<0.001). Through this study, it was confirmed that efforts to improve the satisfaction level and develop various comparisons method and programs are necessary.

A study on the Development for the National Cybersecurity Capability Assessment Criteria (국가 사이버보안 역량 평가를 위한 평가항목 연구)

  • As ICT is becoming a major social infrastructure, the need to strengthen cyber capabilities are emerging. In the major advanced countries including the United States, has a continuing interest in strengthening cyber capabilities and has studied in enhancements of cyber capabilities. The cyber capability assessment is necessary in order to determine the current level of the country, establish policy directions and legislations. The selection of criteria has very important meaning to suggest future policy direction as well as an objective assessment of cybersecurity capabilities. But there are variable criteria for national cyber capabilities assessment such as strategy, legislation, technology, society and culture, and human resources. In this paper we perform the analysis of criteria for the other country's cybersecurity assessments including the U.S. and Europe. And we proposed the criteria for the national cybersecurity assessment reflecting the our country's characteristics.

A Proposal of Cybersecurity Technical Response Job Competency Framework and its Applicable Model Implementation (사이버보안 기술적 대응 직무 역량 프레임워크 제안 및 적용 모델 구현 사례)

  • We are facing the situation where cyber threats such as hacking, malware, data leakage, and theft, become an important issue in the perspective of personal daily life, business, and national security. Although various efforts are being made to response to the cyber threats in the national and industrial sectors, the problems such as the industry-academia skill-gap, shortage of cybersecurity professionals are still serious. Thus, in order to overcome the skill-gap and shortage problems, we propose a Cybersecurity technical response Job Competency(CtrJC) framework by adopting the concept of cybersecurity personnel's job competency. As a sample use-case study, we implement the CtrJC against to personals who are charged in realtime cybersecurity response, which is an important job at the national and organization level, and verify the our framework's effects. We implement a sample model, which is a CtrJC against to realtime cyber threats (We call it as CtrJC-R), and study the verification and validation of the implemented model.
