Study on the Reality of the Private Educational Institute Street and the Spatial Range of its Service in Pyeongchon, Anyang-si (안양시 평촌 학원가의 교육 서비스 실태 및 공간 범위에 관한 연구)

  • The main purpose of this paper is to identify the characteristics of the private educational institute street in Pyengchon, Anyang-si by analyzing the locational determinants of private education institute, the spatial range of it educational service and the spatial behaviour of private education institute students. The research has concerned with the locational determinants of private educational institutes in Pyengchon. Its main locational determinants are a reputation as a region of private educational institution street, access to large residential areas and rents. Also, it has considered the spatial service range of private educational institutes. To this end, it divided private educational institutes into three hierarchies from first sized to third sized private educational institute. The educational service of first sized institutes delivers to within a 10km radius of them, including Suwon. In particular, the service of them is concentrated on within a 6km radius of them. The educational service of second and third sized institutes both delivers to within a 6km radius of them. The service of second sized one is concentrated on within a 2km radius of them, and third sized one is within a 1km radius of them. What is more, it has analyzed the spatial behaviour of private educational institute students.

  • 안양공공예술프로젝트(APAP)는 한국에서 가장 성공적인 공공예술사업으로 손꼽힌다. 낙후된 유원지와 중소 도시 도심에 예술조형물로 활력을 불어넣고, 우수한 국내외 작가들이 자발적으로 참여해 도시의 격을 높여 시민의 자산으로 정착됐다는 평가를 받는다. 서울시의 도시 게릴라 프로젝트나 광주 비엔날레의 도심 조형물 설치 작업인 '폴리 프로젝트'가 벤츠마킹한 대상이 되기도 했다. APAP는 2005년 만안구 안양유원지를 정비해 예술공원으로 조성하는 것으로 시작돼 2007년에는 이를 도시공원화 작업으로 확대하며 평촌 일대에 공공조형물이 조성됐다. 2010년에는 골목 안으로 들어가 주민들과 함께 공동체 복원을 위한 프로젝트로 진행됐다. 특히 안양예술공원 안에 있는 안양 파빌리온(구 알바로 시자 홀)은 포르투갈 출신의 세계적인 건축사 알바로 시자(1992년 프리츠커상 수상)가 설계한 작품이다.(그는 이 작품에 이어 파주출판단지에 '미메시스 아트 뮤지엄'을 만든다.) 당연히 안양시 차원에서 추진된 공공예술사업에는 건축사 등 많은 전문가들이 참여했다. 최승원 건축사는 "지방건축발전에 기회가 오면 건축사가 적극 자문하여야 지방다운 건축이 살아나고 꽃피울 수 있다"고 강조한다. APAP 초창기부터 참여해 역할을 해온 최승원 건축사에게 안양예술공원으로 보는 지역건축에 대해 들어봤다.

  • The Anyang-cheon is one of the Han River tributaries in Seoul Metropolitan area. It is 35.1km long, has a basin area of 287km2 and touches seven cities of Kyounggi Province and part of Seoul. The purpose of this study were 1) to reconstruct the ancient stream network and to investigate the change of landuse in Anyang-cheon watershed between 1957 and 1991,2) to measure the change of the hydrologic ¬acteristics with urbanization, 3) to suggest the institutional solutions to reduce natural hazard as the area has urbanizedThe main results are as follows: 1.Anyang-cheon river basin has experienced the rapid urbanization and industrialization since 1957. Anyang-cheon stream network was oversimplified in the watershed. The total stream length decreased atributaries in the upper part of river basin have eliminated or buried undergrolmd in pipes. 2.Urbanization impacted to all of the area of Anyang-cht'On watershed. Urbanization in Anyang-cheon watershed corresponds to the large portion of flat area, especially flood - prone zone of river side, and the small portion of Greenbelt to constrain urban expantion in cities. 3.The urbanization of Anyang-cheon watershed produces fundamental changes in watershed hydrology. As infiltration is reduced by the creation of extensive pavement, concrete surface, and sewer pipe, runoff moves more quickly from upland to stream. Analysis of the Effect of Differences in Spatial Resolution of Land-use/cover Data on the Simulation of CALPUFF (토지피복 자료의 해상도 차이가 CALPUFF 농도 모의에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to ascertain how the level of resolution of land cover data affects on the local distribution and diffusion of fine dust. the CALPUFF model, which considers the spatio-temporal terrain conditions and changes in weather conditions, was used to estimate PM10 concentration in the Pyeongchon, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do. Three different resolutions of land cover data including 20 m, 50 m, and 100 m were compared as the input of the modeling. Using higher resolution land cover data (20 m), the wind speed of the simulated region was the largest and the PM10 concentration was the lowest. Through this study, we confirm that the resolution level of land-use/cover data can affect the local distribution and diffusion of fine dust, which can be detected by CALPUFF. Therefore, when using CALPUFF to simulate fine dust in the future, it can be suggested that checking the impact on spatial resolution according to the form of land cover in advance and proceeding with the simulation can achieve mote accurate results.
