미국을 비롯한 선진국의 경우 농약의 방대한 사용으로 농약사고의 위험성이 매우 높다고 할 수 있으나 그들은 농업생산의 증대로 안락한 생활을 하고 있음을 볼 때 농약사용량의 대소보다는 사용방법에 농약사고의 근본원인이 있다. 현재 보급된 농약은 이미 개발국에서 충분한 검토가 이루어진 것으로 오직 안전사용기준 준수만이 농약문제 해결의 지름길이며 농약 본래의 사명을 다하는 길이다.

소련의 헬기는 광활하고 외진 지역과 혹독한 기상조건 그리고 불비한 정비지원하에서 운용이 가능하도록, 견고하며 간편하고 일반적으로 사이즈가 크게 설계제작되었다. 따라서 편리성, 안락성, 미려함등이 요구되는 상업성이 떨어지며, 제작가공의 질이 떨어지는 것은 물론, 특히 항공전자분야가 뒤떨어진 것이 사실이다. 또한 무기체계에 대한 사용상의 철학관계로 장기사용에 대한 배려가 부족하나, 가격이 저렴한 장점이 있다. 현재 소련의 헬기산업이 안고 있는 문제는 기술문제가 아니라 자금상의 문제이다

Purpose: This study has been designed to identify attitudes to euthanasia held by Korean nurses. Method: Data were collected through a survey, and the participants in the study were 234 Korean nurses. Convenience sampling method was used and analysis of the data was done with SPSS PC for descriptive statistics, t-test and ANOVA. Results : 1. The mean score for euthanasia was 2.80. and the sub dimension mean scores were, patients' rights. 3.24, quality of life, 2 78, respect for life, 2.68, medical ethics, 2.50. 2. With respect to the general characteristics of participants there were statistically significant difference in total score according to religion (P= .01), and degree of influence of religion on behavior (P= .00). 3. There were statistically significant difference in score of quality of life according to religion (P= .04), degree of influence of religion on behavior (P= 00), decisions in euthanasia (P=.04), and legal permission (P= .04). 4. There was statistically significant difference in score of patient's right according to legal permission (P = .04). 5 There were statistically significant difference in the score of respect for life according to religion (P= .00), degree of influence of religion on behavior (P= .00), decision in euthnasia (P= .00), and legal permission (P= .00).

Euthanasia have received considerable attention recentely in medical literature, public discussion, and proposed state legislation. Almost all the discussion in this area has focused on the role of physicians. However, nurse may be in special position to understand the wishes of patients and to act on this understanding. Purpose of this study is to identity the meaning of euthanasia in terminal ill patients on the nurses' veiw. Forcused interveiw design was used to data collection The data were analyzed by semantic analysis, and analysis of the data resulted in identification of 14 categories representing the meaning of euthanasia. 1. The meaning of supported euthanasia is 'free of suffering', 'difficulty of economic status', 'right of patient and family', 'dignity of death', 'organ transplant', 'social legislation'. 2. The meaning of opposited euthanasia is 'artificial death', 'value of life', 'uncertainity', 'guilt feeling' 3. The meaning of care in terminalily ill patients is 'avoidance', 'powerlessness'. 'apathy'. 'passive attitude'. The policy debate about professional roles in action that end of lives of patients must be extended nurses. Nurses must take an active role in discussion and definition of acceptable practice at the end of life.

인체 CAD 모델링 시스템은 장비와 인체를 모델링하여설계 초기단계에서 부터 별도의 Mock-up 없이 전 벙위의 운용자에 대한 작업자세의 안락도(Comfort), 동작한계(Reach), 적 합성(Fit), 시계(Vision)등 제반 작업공간 설계 및 평가에 수반되는 고려요소들을 보다 과학적 이고 합리적으로 반영할 수 있는 도구로 인식되고 있다. 본 연구는 크게 한국군 전차병의 인체 CAD 모델의 설계와 설계된 인체 모델을 활용한 한국형 전차 작업공간 평가로 구성되었다. 한국 군 전차병의 인체 CAD 모델링에서는 전차병의 인체 측정자료를 이용하여 5%, 50%, 95%치 전차병 에 대한 선 자세와 앉은 자세의 인체 모델을 설계하였으며, 보다 정확한 인체 모델의 구현을 위 해인체의 기능적 치수에 대한 실측치와 CAD 설계치와의 차이를 비교, 보정하여 줌으로써 작업공 간 평가시 보다 정확한 결과를 얻을 수 있도록 하였다. 한국형 전차 작업공간 평가에서는 설계 된 인체 모델과 한국형 전차 주요 구성품의 CAD 모델을 활용하여 각 승무원의 작업역을 분석하였고, 승무원 해치, 주요 조종장치의 운용 적합성, 판넬류 등의 위치 적합성에 대해 분석, 평가하였다. 본 연구를 통해 무기체계를 대상으로 하여 CAD 프로그램을 이용한 Man-Machine Interface에 대한 검토가 이루어 졌으며, 기존의 도면이나, Mock-up, Prototype에 의존하던 작업공간 타당성 검토가 CAD를 이용하여 3차원적으로 이루어 질 수 있는 기반을 마련하였다는데 의의가 있다.

A black kite (Milvus migrans) was referred to the Gyeongnam Wild Animal Rescue Center, Jinju, Korea, with a clinical history of lethargy. On physical examination, three hard, variable sized, round shaped masses were found in the carpal and digit region of the right wing. On plain radiographs, three various sized, round to oval shaped, bony opacity masses with smooth margin were identified on the major digit, alular digit, carpometacarpus. The bird was euthanized due to poor prognosis. A full necropsy was performed, and the histopathologic findings in the bird were consistent with multiple exostoses.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate nurses' perceptions and attitudes towards euthanasia. Method: The subject consisted of 345 nurses from the four general hospitals above 500 beds. Measurement tools were the Ryu's perceptions towards euthanasia, and Park's attitudes toward euthanasia. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, and ANOVA by using SPSS WIN 10.0 program. Results: The approval rate of passive euthanasia was 62.6%. Main reason of approval for the passive euthanasia was that euthanasia was "act of mercy". On the other hand, main reason of opposition was that "life is invaluable". 81.2% of subjects responded saying that they would ask for passive euthanasia. The approval rate of active euthanasia was 15.7%. 54.8% of subjects responded saying that they will not ask for active euthanasia. General characteristics significantly related to attitudes to euthanasia were the units, nursing degree, and meaning of euthanasia. The mean score for attitudes to euthanasia was 2.36 and it was negative attitudes. Conclusion: Man has the right to live within his life with dignity. What is most important here seems to be the legalization of euthanasia which still remains unresolved.
