(Zn,Mg)O (ZMO) thin films doped with Ga $(0\~0.03mol\%)$ in the target source were prepared by pulsed laser deposition on c-plane sapphire substrates at $500^{\circ}C$, and the effect of Ga contents on the properties of the electrical, optical and crystal properties of the deposited films was investigated. From X-ray diffraction patterns, ZMO film doped with $0.02 mol\%$ Ga showed crystal structure with c-axis preferred orientation, showing only the (0002) and (0004) diffraction peaks. In contrast, ZMO film doped with $Ga=0.03 mol\%$ showed a randomly oriented crystal structure. All the samples were highly transparent, showing the transmittance values of above $85\%$ in the visible region. For all the Ga doped ZMO films, the value of energy band gap was found to be about 3.5 eV, regardless of their Ga contents. From the Hall measurements, the resistivity and the carrier density for the ZMO film doped with $0.01 mol\%$ Ga were about $5\times10^{-4}\Omega-cm$ and $2\times10^{21}cm^{-3}$, respectively.

This study is for the multi-dimensional analysis of diverse data sets for artificial reefs off the coast of Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi prefecture, Japan. Various data sets recorded in artificial reefs ground were integrated in new GIS software: to reveal the relationships between water temperature and fish schools; to visualize the quantitative connection between the reefs and the fish schools; and to compare the seabed types derived from two different data sources. The results obtained suggest that the application of GIS in analyzing multi-dimensional data is a better way to understand the characteristics of fish schools and environmental information around artificial reefs and particularly in the evaluation of the effectiveness of artificial reefs.

The effect of $CO_2$ concentration (500, 3,000, $6,000{\mu}{\ell}/{\ell}$) on the mycelial growth and fruit body primordium formation of Ganoderma lucidum on nutrient agar medium was examined. Optimum $CO_2$ concentration for vegetative growth was above $3,000{\mu}{\ell}/{\ell}$. Fruit body initiation was accelerated at higher than $3,000{\mu}{\ell}/{\ell}$ $CO_2$ exposure but the maximum number and size of primordia, and primordium color were not influenced by $CO_2$ concentrations. Whereas each atypical fruiting structure forming stock culture showed different fruiting time under each concentration of $CO_2$ exposure.

대한건축학회와 건설교통부, 한국건축가협회, 대한건축사협회에서 공동주최하는 '건축교육, 건축사제도 개선 및 건축교육인증원 발족을 위한 1차 공동회'가 지난 11월 19일(금)과 20일(토)에 대한건축학회 세미나실에서 열렸다. 이번 공청회는 건축교육, 설계실무 등에 대한 개선방안을 마련하여 건축교육의 국제화 및 국내건축사의 국제경쟁력을 향상시킨다는 주요명제하에 건축 3단체가 공동으로 준비하였다. 이번 공청회의 좌장은 이명호(중앙대 건축학과) 교수가 맡았으며, 주제발표는 '교육제도 개선 및 교육인증'에 대해서는 이문섭, 박한규씨가, '건축사제도 및 건축사보완'에 대해서는 최관영, 박서홍씨가 맡았고, 토론자로는 강병근(건국대 건축공학과 교수), 김우성(아키플랜 대표), 정의용(영남대 건축공학과 교수), 이영근(건설교통부 건축과 과장), 정진원(경기대 건축공학과 교수), 최수태(교육부 대학학사제도과장), 김광현(서울대 건축학과 교수), 김병현(장건축), 김영웅(진원건축), 심재덕(태두건축), 정태화(건설교통부 건축과 사무관), 최동규(서인건축)씨가 참여했다. 이번호에서는 건축교육제도 개선분야, 건축교육인증분야, 건축사제도 및 건축사보완 분야의 발표요약문을 게재한다.

동위원소희석법에 의한 열이온화 질량분석법 (ID-TIMS)을 이용하여 지하수내 희토류원소의 함량을 측정하였다. 희토류원소의 분리에는 철공침법과 양이온교환수지에 의한 컬름분리법을 이용하였다. 경희토류(La-Eu)와 Gd, Dy, Er의 경우 수-수십 ppt의 수준에서 1%이내의 오차범위를 측정되어졌으며, 중희토류 중 Yb와 Lu은 정확도가 다소 떨어진 10% 전후에서 측정되었다. 지하수내 함량을 운석으로 규격화한 결과, 경희토류가 부화되었고 중희토류는 결핍되었으며 Eu의 이상은 거의 존재하지 않는다. 특히 경희토류에서는 M-type의 테트라드효과, 중희토류에서는 W-type의 테트라드효과가 관찰되었다. 이는 희토류원소의 수화수와 밀접한 관련이 있는 것으로 사료된다.

The status of structural ceramics in Japan is presented. Use of ceramics for structural components had been limited due to their brittleness, and the successful application was wear resistant parts such as thread guides and ceramic cutting tools up to around 1980. Since then, considerable work has been done for applying ceramics to mechanical parts, and automotive components made of silicon nitride were developed and commercialized in 1980s. Unfortunately, the application of silicon nitride to automotive engines is not so popular in these days. Instead, a variety of structural ceramics such as alumina, silicon carbide and zirconia have recently extended the market, and the expanded application includes vacuum process parts for manufacturing semiconductor and liquid crystal devices, refractory tubes for casting aluminum alloy, and dies for optical lens forming. In addition, cordierite honeycombs and diesel particulate filters are widely used in automobiles. In the present review, the recent application of structural ceramics to automobiles and industries in Japan is summarized.

The near field structures of an under-expanded, dual, coaxial, jets issuing from the coaxial nozzles with four different geometries are visualized by using a shadowgraph optical method. Experiments are conducted to investigate the effects of the nozzle-lip thickness, secondary stream thickness, the nozzle pressure ratio and the secondary swirl stream on the characteristics of under-expanded jets. The results show that the presence of secondary annular swirling stream causes the Mach disk to move further downstream and increases its diameter, which decreases with a decrease in the nozzle-lip thickness. The secondary stream thickness has an influence on the location of an annular shock wave.

The main idea is to make well-living village with the help of specialist after village people observe their own village and think "What kind of problem is there?", "What solution for these problems do we need?", "How do we make well-living area?".

This paper introduced Internet totally, which is continuously changing, for the aspect of service-improvement to users. Particulary, the concepts, the features and methods of Gopher, Veronica, Archie, WAIS and WWW which are used broadly in the aspect of information retrieval, have been introduced with command-language in Internet. Among them, this paper intends not only to describe in detail the use of Web-browser's method but also to explain about the search engine which is provided in the large online service on the base of actual experience.

NaOCl (Sodium hydrochlorite) have similar smell of chloride and solution of straw color. And boiling point is $110^{\circ}C$, specific gravity is 1.0(50g/l)/1.1(100g/l), Value of pH is 12. NaOCl playa role as bleach, a oxidizer, a germicide, a decolorant, a deodorant, treatment of water supply and drainage, food addition agent because strong oxidation, bleaching, sterilization effect is had. When NaOCl is produced in electrolysis of seawater, this system is composed of injection system by directly electrolysis of salt water on the spot and sodium hydrochlorite generate a safe low concentration(0.4~0.8 %).
