Relevant study of convergence education and beauty awareness of B University students (B대학생들의 미(美) 인식과 융합교육과의 관련성 연구)

  • According to the era, area, culture, and scholars, the beauty has been variously interpreted. This paper is analyzed about human beauty, the university environment beauty, and the relevance of awareness about beauty and convergence education. Especially this paper is researched on the basis of the survey data for the B University students. Also in this paper, we considered that what is beauty, whether and how to recognize human beauty, which was investigated whether the beauty of the campus environment. Futhermore, we discussed about relevance of beauty and convergence education. We describes relevance of major education and aesthetics, and relevance of characteristics education. In this survey, it can be seen that theses students have awareness of holistic human beauty and that inner beauty rather than outer beauty is more preferentially. The beauty of university environment is important to know university member's beauty, and individual character and major competencies of faculties and staffs suited to establishment ideology of the university, and the emotional education and administration suited to the emotional generations. Because beauty awareness of university programs appear through the students' character and major competence, it was recognized that the convergence beauty education of university program is properly carried out is important.

The Beauty Dimensions Related to Human Attractiveness (인물의 매력에 관련된 아름다움의 차원)

  • Most marketing practitioners prospect that the beauty industry, which consists of various services and product related to the beauty, will be one of major industries in future. Thus they have been paying more attention to dramatic changes of the beauty industry. Furthermore they have been trying to differentiate their services and products from existing ones because of the tough competition in the market. For scientific marketing of the beauty services and beauty products, the beauty should be able to be measured. However marketing practitioners have no actual method to measure the beauty. In this study, we tried to find the beauty dimensions which are necessary to measure the beauty, based on Langmeyer and Shank(1994)'s study. We collected a total 258 samples as data through survey on university students, and explored the beauty dimension related to human attractiveness, and derived the implications for measuring the beauty. Based on the quantitative analysis, we derived the 4 beauty dimensions related to human attractiveness. The two of them were the inner beauty dimensions(energetic personality and thoughtful personality) whereas the others were the outer beauty dimensions(appearance and style). Additionally we analyzed if the variables, which are gender, perceived social value of beauty, and appearance satisfaction, affect on respondents' beauty perception. The empirical results showed that the beauty perception in the derived beauty dimensions is affected by the perceived social value of beauty and the appearance satisfaction: 1)The both of the inner beauty and the outer beauty are evaluated more positively when the appearance satisfaction is higher, 2)The outer beauty is evaluated more positively than the inner beauty when the perceived social value of beauty is higher.

  • There will be coming soon a sequence of the so-called election season in Korea. That is the 20th session of general elections and the 19th presidential election which are taking place one after another. When we talk about presidential candidate, we may realize that the choice were relied upon candidate's facial appearance and speech, voice, dress, and so on. One poll showed that capacity and policy were ranked high and figure and image were ranked next by asking "what is the most important factor when you vote for the president?" This study looked into the candidate's face of a newly elected public office through the election voting. I studied how the factors of sex and beauty may affect on the election results. I analyse survey of candidate's photo on the election leaflets. Analyzed result said that candidate's competency and trust have strong relations in the voting choice rather than beauty even if it is statistically significant. I also find that both beauty and competency are positively interrelated.

  • 성형수술을 한번쯤 생각해보지 않은 여성이 없을 정도로 성형수술이 범람하고 있다. 강남의 어떤 거리는 한집 건너 성형외과, 피부과가 있다고 한다. 이들은 모두 의학을 미용에 응용한 것으로 병원이라기보다는 의사 미용실이라고 보는 것이 본질상 맞는 이름일 것이다. 성형보다는 자신감으로 진정한 아름다움을 찾도록 도와주는것이 무엇보다 필요하다.

  • Director Lee Chang Dong said that it is the most important point for revealing the invisible beauty so that the audience could feel the unseen beauty through the . Discussing about how to find beauty that is not only visible but also invisible through the main character Mi-ja from the film, who makes a decision and reactions on her daily life by her perception that are difficult for others to take same. The film tells that how Mi-ja's ideal of a beauty can be taken the role for writing a poetry at the moment of the dead poet society, making a movie in the age of dying emotion and also when it lost fundamental values and about movie media. This study analyzed the performances of the main character Mi-ja in the film, and actress Yoon Jung Hee based on Director Lee Chang Dong's directed performance. The audience will be self-questioning and reflecting their life through the Mi-ja's an unidentifiable characteristic which something that someone cannot say, something that someone cannot express, something that tells something through Mi-ja's poem and actress herself finds the character's feelings.

The Subjectivity Study on the 'Real Beauty' ('진정한 아름다움'에 대한 주관성 연구)

  • The human desire for 'beauty' is with the long history of mankind. This study started with how people of the 21st century would think about such beauty. Using the Q methodology, which is a qualitative research method, the Q-statements for the people's real thoughts and perceptions are secured and typified. The survey was conducted on July 8 to July 31, 2019, and was classified into three types of survey analysis results. The results of the analysis are as follows. showed high standard scores of statements such as 'self-development effort', 'good human relations', and 'learning to learn', and named as 「Self-Development Type」. has a high distribution of statements such as 'Passion', 'Young energy' and 'Healthy flesh', and named as 「Passion Type」. showed high statements such as 'I', 'good human relationship', 'self-development effort', and named 「I'm Type」. In addition, this study emphasizes the usefulness of qualitative research as an exploratory study for understanding and future empirical studies.
