In the engineering education, the difference of student's achievements is one of the problems to make teaching more difficult. To solve this problem, cooperative learning can be adopted to make students study automatically and cooperatively in the small study group. However, it is not easy to achieve substantial cooperation in the study group. In this paper, we propose a method to achieve substantial cooperative learning in the engineering subject requiring mathematical practice. we can vitalize the cooperative learning and improve the student's achievements by using the both of individual and group assessment.

This study aimed to examine the research trends and to suggest future research directions in teaching-learning methods for Home Economics education, by analyzing articles published in three major academic journals in the field. From each of the research studies, the teaching-learning method, the related content area, and the learning effect measures were quantitatively codified. The data were analyzed using frequency analysis and cross-tabulations. According to the results, the number of teaching-learning method studies steadily increased since 1998 and peaked in 2010 and 2011. The most frequently studied content areas were combinations of more than two content areas, and the most frequently studied teaching-learning method was the Content-Based methods, followed by Practical Thinking/Problem Solving, and IT-Based methods. The most frequently used measures of learning effect were Knowledge/Understanding, Attitudes toward Home Economics subject, General Attitudes/Competencies, and the Attitudes toward the Instructional Method, in the order of frequencies. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the teaching-learning method research and also provide implications to the documentation of Home Economics curriculum for secondary education.

Math classes has been regarded as an independent area of a teacher and his/her students of a particular class. In Recent discussions about the professional development of teachers, for the improvement of practices, the point of view of that the community of teachers must work together is spreading. What are the considerations in organization and operation of learning communities for professional development of teachers? In this study, we analyzed the case of the learning community of math teachers in a Science Academy for the purpose of improving math classes to promote the participation of learners. Research results show that teachers share the principles and goals of mathematics teaching through the learning community. Also, through participation in learning communities, the members were practicing the lessons improved by reflection on the lessons of his/her and their colleagues. These results provide implication that it is important to provide opportunities for objectifying his/her classes through the learning community for a substantial improvement in math classes.

The functions and their graphs are very important parts in mathematical educations. But there seems be a lot of students studying the functions and their graphs without grasping the meaning of them and without interest with them. We present a learning method of how to match functions and their graphs with outlines of various shapes. That is, outlines of the shapes are assumed to be the graphs of the functions and the graphs will be plotted on the screen of a computer with help of the computer algebra system.

This study aimed to develop, implement, and evaluate a practical, problem-based global citizenship education (GCED) program in the first grade of elementary school to suggest ways for practical global citizenship education in the next curriculum. This study proceeded following the ADDIE teaching design model. Through literature research, the relevance of global citizenship education to the 2022 national curriculum and the 2022 practical arts curriculum was analyzed, and based on the results, the learning elements of global citizenship education were extracted from the 2022 integrated subjects curriculum to develop the program. The program consisted of four teaching and learning plans for a total of eight sessions based on four practical problems, and was revised and supplemented through validation by a group of experts. The developed teaching and learning curriculum was implemented in all eight sessions over a period of four weeks with 16 first grade students at S Elementary School in Seoul. As a result of the program implementation, the mean of students' global citizenship awareness increased by 3.88 points (±3.91) from pre to post, and the qualitative evaluation of teachers' reflection journals and students' portfolios showed that the program influenced students to realize the importance of taking action to create a better and more sustainable world. Therefore, the practical problem-based global citizenship education program for first graders was found to be effective in fostering global citizenship awareness.

The purpose of this research was to develop and applicate In based teaching$\cdot$learning process plan for Environmentally friendly Housing. The 3 main stages of process were used: analyses, planning & development, and application & evaluation. Three teaching subjects were selected to teach Environmentally friendly housing in the analysis stage. The webhard learning environment was consisted of contents and various materials such as digital video, PPT, group activity, discussion, individual and group reporting forms, and questions. The number of 101 high school students participated for the application stage during september 22-27, 2003. Most of all students evaluated very positively the various aspects of contents as well as LT cooperative learning methods md the web based learning environment. They strongly expressed to practice the practical ways of Environmentally friendly housing learned in the class in the future. The results imply that the contents and In teaching learning plan developed in this study seem to be adequate to be included in the regular text.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the actual preparation process and outcomes of applying RPL in University Dual System based on KOREATECH's case. A comprehensive literature review on prior research and cases was described in this study to assist Korean educational institutions who might be interested in adopting RPL into their organizations. Furthermore, three different levels of support were suggested based on the results of this study for successful adoption of RPL in Korea. Support from national system level, sociocultural level, and university level should be considered carefully for the success of RPL.

The purposes of this study were to develop lesson plans of library assisted practical problem-based teaching-learning for 'life and career planning' unit in high school Technology Home Economics Subject and to compare the learning effect of this lesson plan with that of practical problem-based teaching-learning in class. The change in student's perception about home economics subject was also compared after two types of teaching-learning process. The contents of the high school Technology Home Economics textbooks and curriculum guide book for the year of 2007 curriculum revision were analyzed. Based on these analysis 10 library assisted practical problem-based teaching-learning lesson plans on 'life and carrer planning' unit were developed. The high school students living in Gyeonggi province as an experimental group participated in library assisted practical problem-based teaching-learning. The control group of students who had same condition with the experimental group were taught by same lesson plans in class. After the experiment, the changes in attitudes toward life and career planning and in perception about Home Economics subject were analyzed using Analysis of Covariance. The more significant positive attitudes toward life and career planning were found in the experimental group of students compared with those of the control group of students. And compared with the control group of students, the experimental group of student perceived more positively about characteristics of Home Economics subject. Thus, the following conclusion was made that the library assisted practical problem-based teaching-learning could be one of the useful teaching-learning methods to improve attitude toward life and career planning and perception about Home Economics subject.

The purpose of this study was to develop practical problem based teaching-learning plans and to verify its effect on middle school students' self efficacy, ego resilience, and happiness by focusing on the unit of 'Youth's Self Management' in Technology Home Economics. For this study, the contents of twelve different Technology Home Economics middle school textbooks currently in use and a 2007 curriculum guide were analyzed. Based on the problem based question "What do I need to do to control myself better, be mentally healthier, and live a more independent lifestyle?", seven practical problem based teaching-learning plans on 'Youth's Self Management' unit were developed. 7th grade students of "K" middle school living in Gyeonggi province participated in this study. Three control groups were taught through the traditional lecture-based teaching-learning plans while four experimental groups were taught through the practical problem based teaching-learning lesson plans. The effects of lessons on self efficacy, ego resilience and happiness were analyzed using Analysis of Covariance. Significant positive effects on self efficacy, ego resilience and happiness were found in the experimental group of students.
