HACCP 적용 급식학교 조리종사자의 지식 및 실천수준 평가 - 안산ㆍ시흥 지역을 중심으로 -

  • 본 연구는 HACCP 시스템을 적용하고 있는 급식학교 조리종사자의 HACCP에 관한 지식과 실천 수준을 비교 평가하여 기초자료로 삼고자 2002년 10월 12∼15일까지 초등학교와 중학교 영양사, 조리종사자에게 설문지를 배부하여 각각 20부(80.0%), 184부(80.3%)를 회수하였고, 영양사의 인적 특성에 따른 HACCP 교육 내용 차이, HACCP적용 기기 및 기구의 보유에 따른 실천수준차이, 조리종사자의 지식수준에 따른 실천수준에 대하여 x-test, T-test, 상관분석을 SPSS10.0로 이용하였다. A Study of Social Worker's Reflective Thinking and the Usage of Practice Skills (사회복지사의 반성적 사고수준과 사회복지실천기술의 활용정도)

  • This study investigated the relation between social worker's reflective thinking levels and the usage of social work practice skills. Dewey definded reflective thinking as active, persistent and careful consideration of any belief. And social work practice skills refer to those purposeful intervention activities, that are intended to alleviate client's distress, enhancing a client's coping abilities. Reflctive thinking levels consists of intensive reflection, reflection, understanding and habit action. The key of social work practice skills can be categorized into three major categories: supportive skills, therapeutic coping skills and case management skills. These categories were designed to apply to a diverse range of client populations. This paper proves that social work's reflective thinking ability and interactions with other workers have an effect on the intervention activities. In conclusion, this research indicates that if social works have a higher reflective thinking levels, they will creat practice siklls and social work practice knowledge.

The Effect of Single Mothers' Community Participation on Empowerment -Focused on the Mediation Effect of Gender Consciousness (한부모 여성의 조직 참여 특성이 임파워먼트 효과에 미치는 영향 분석 -젠더의식 변화의 매개효과를 중심으로-)

  • This study is to show the effect of single mothers' community participation on empowerment and the mediation effect of gender consciousness that mediate the causal relationship between this two variables defining the organization, which single mothers have been participated, as a community based on that there are common goals, emotional bond, and reciprocal action between the members. 439 single mothers, who have been participated in one of 14 organizations in Pusan and Gyeongnam, have been surveyed and the practice elements of emporwerment, gender consciousness, and empowerment have been analyzed from it. The results are first, There was significant differences at the practice elements of empowerment, gender consciousness, and empowerment according to the types of single mothers' community. Mostly it was high among job training type community and low among social welfare institution type community. Second, it has been shown that the determinant factors of empowerment are the degree of community participation and the practical elements of empowerment. Third, The changes in gender consciousness should be proceeded before that the practice of community empowerment, which the changes in gender consciousness represent the full mediation in the relationship between the practical elements and empowerment effect, leads the improvement of single mothers' empowerment.

Scientific Practices Manifested in Science Textbooks: Middle School Science and High School Integrated Science Textbooks for the 2015 Science Curriculum (과학 교과서에 제시된 과학실천의 빈도와 수준 -2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 중학교 과학 및 통합과학-)

  • This study analyzed the frequency and level of scientific practices presented in secondary science textbooks. A total of 1,378 student activities presented in 14 middle school science textbooks and 5 high school integrated science textbooks were analyzed, using the definition and level of scientific practice suggested in the NGSS. Findings show that most student activities focus on three practices. Compared to the textbooks for the previous science curriculum, the practice of 'obtaining, evaluating, and communicating information' was more emphasized, reflecting societal changes due to ICT development. However, the practice of 'asking a question', which can be an important element of student-led science learning, was still rarely found in textbooks, and 'developing and using models', 'using math and computational thinking' and 'arguing based on evidence' were not addressed much. The practices were mostly elementary school level except for the practice of 'constructing explanations'. Such repeated exposures to a few and low level of practices mean that many future citizens would be led to a naïve understanding of science. The findings imply that it is necessary to emphasize various practices tailored to the level of students. In the upcoming revision of the science curriculum, it is necessary to provide the definition of practices that are not currently specified and the expected level of each practice so that the curriculum can provide sufficient guidance for textbook writing. These efforts should be supported by benchmarking of overseas science curriculum and research that explore students' ability and teachers' understanding of scientific practices.

Safety-practice and Its Related Factors among Elementary students in a rural area (일부 초등학생의 안전실천 관련요인)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the Safety-practice and Its Related Factors among Elementary students in rural area, to provide the basic data for prevention for safety accident occurrence in order to improve the QOL. Methods: The subjects of this study were 549 elementary students using self-report questionnaires. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression with SPSS 12.0 Program. Results: The mean score for level of the safety awareness was 3.55(${\pm}.36$) and of the safety practice, 2.98(${\pm}.48$). The score of Safety-practice was statistically significant difference according to students' gender(p= .028) and students' grade(p= .004), the number of friends(p= .002), the level of school life adaptation(p= .000), recognized learning proficiency(p= .000), personality(p= .005), curiosity(p= .003), the level of demand for safety education(p= .000), the level of safety-education conducted by parents(p= .000), the level of safety-education conducted by teacher(p= .000). Stepwise multiple regression analysis for Safety-practice revealed that the most powerful predictor was level of Safety-awareness and self-esteem, the level of safety-education conducted by parents explained 28.8% of the variance. Conclusions: Therefore, it is necessary to develop safety practice promotion program in order to enhance the quality of life of elementary students. Future studies need to be pursued to find various variances.

A Study on Collaborative Activity for Young Children in Terms of Early Childhood Teachers' Belief on Constructivism (유아교사의 구성주의 교육 신념에 따른 유아 협동 활동에 대한 관심도 및 실천수준)

  • The purpose of this study was to survey collaborate learning in early childhood settings in Korea. Specifically, the study examined whether the realities of and the teachers' perception on collaborative learning would differ in terms of the teachers' belief on constructivism. To achieve this purpose, 210 teachers of kindergartens and daycare centers in Busan completed a questionnaire developed by the authors. The teachers' belief on constructivism was rated as high, medium, and low. The ${\chi}^2$-test, one-way analysis of variance, and the Scheffe test were used to analyze the teachers' interest on and practice level of collaborate learning. As a result of this analysis, the authors observed several significant differences in the realities of and the teachers' perception on collaborative learning in terms of the teachers' belief on constructivism. We discussed the results and provided practical implications for teacher training.

목포항을 세계적 미항으로 가꾸기 위할 시민실천방안

  • 천혜의 자연조건을 갖춘 목포항을 세계적 미항으로 가꾸기 위한 운동과 과업이 전개되고 있다. 이미 목포항 주변에 대불산업단지가 위치하고 있으며 영산강 하구둑이 건설되어 있다. 최근에는 남악신도시가 건설 중이고, 목포-고하도 연육교 건설이 계획되고 있어서 목포항 미관 조성에 시민의 참여와 관심이 요구되고 있다. 그래서 천혜의 목포항을 세계적 수준의 아름다운 항구로 가꾸기 위한 목포시민의 실천방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 먼저 목포시의 $\ulcorner$미항 목포 개발 마스터플랜$\lrcorner$ 계획을 검토하고 시민을 대상으로 설문조사를 통하여 시민의 참여 의식 수준을 확인한 후, 이를 바탕으로 시민실천방안을 도출하였다.

Improving Research Information Security in Academic Institutes through the Analysis of Security Awareness and Activities (보안 인지 및 실천 현황 분석을 통한 대학 연구정보보안 수준 제고 방안)

  • Universities are one of leading R&D institutes, however, their scarce security investment allows research information to leak outside. This paper proposes methods for improving security level of academic institutes to protect research information by analyzing security awareness and activities. To do that, we verified the current status of information security and awareness level by analyzing the survey which was conducted for a member of Seoul National University. As a result of statistical analysis using correlation, analysis of variance, multi regression and so on, we concluded that it is essential to improve security awareness, activities, professor's security level and management process for research labs. Thus, we suggest the following methods, security awareness and knowledge development through education, security management for research labs through provision, introduction of data protection softwares and physical control of visitors which are to be adopted to improve security level.

Weight Control Behaviors among Korean Adults : Association with Dietary Intake (한국성인의 체중조절 관련 행위와 식이 섭취 양상)

  • This study aimed to assess the prevalence of weight control behaviors and their association with food and nutrient intake among Korean adults. Study subjects were 7,340 Koreans aged 20 years and older in the 1998 Korean Health and Nutrient Survey. Cross-sectional data were collected on weight control behavior and diet using structured questionnaire by interview. Analysis of variance following after Duncan's multiple range test was used to test the differences in food and nutrient intake among three different weight control behavior groups(weight reducing attempt, weight gaining attempt, none). Current weight control behaviors were reported by 32% of the study subjects. There were significant differences in weight control behaviors between male and female subjects; weight reducing practices were 7 times greater than weight gaining practices among female subjects while it was only 1.5 times among male subjects. Weight control behaviors were not consistently associated with food and nutrient intake among male and female subjects. Moreover, greater food and nutrient intake were observed among those who trying to reducing weight than those who did not try. Therefore, it Is necessary to educate the Korean adults that balanced food and nutrient intake with sustaind weight control effort is the ideal way to achieve healthy weight.
