Development of a Charging/Discharging Balance Simulator (충방전 Balance Simulator 개발)

  • Prototype of an electric charge/discharge balance simulator was developed for evaluation of matching charging/discharging balance between real system and simulation results for specific vehicle in this research. Battery modeling and other electric modeling were done and real car experiments were performed. Then, We developed a balance simulator on the basis of proposed model and experiment results. Also, we can analyze charging/discharging balance for specific new car as real experiments.

A Study of Aerodynamical Effects for Determining the Distance between Track Centers by using Real Train Experiment (선로 중심간격 설정을 위한 실차 실험을 통한 공력 영향 연구)

  • When constructing a high-speed railroad, the reduction of the distance between track centers and the width of track bed will save the construction cost. However the shortening the distance between track centers may cause the stability problems due to higher wind pressure. Therefore the extensive technical review and aerodynamical study should be performed to determine the adequate distance between track centers. In this study, the impact that the increase in wind pressure due to the change of aerodynamic phenomena with the change of the distance between track centers may have on two trains passing by each other was predicted, and the stability of train operation was analyzed in order to review the distance between track centers suitable to Honam HSR trains. And we estimated the aerodynamical effects by the results of the real train experiments.

  • 본 논문에서는 FOB Key Smart Key System module 간의 원할한 통신을 위한 실차 테스트를 하였으며, 실차 테스트를 위한 데모 모듈레이션 구성은 물론 각 모듈간의 통신상태및 최적의 통신 상태를 위한 3차원 그리드 형태의 실험준비를 하였고 최적의 감도를 얻기위한 수천번의 실차 테스트를 실시하였다.

  • 본 연구에서 검토한 바와 같이 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션은 실차실험과 다소의 오차는 있지만 매우 값싼 환경에서 컴퓨터장비에 거의 종속되지 않고 연구가 가능하므로 충돌실험이 고가인 관계로 여러 경우를 시도할 수 없는 경우 즉, 조인트 성격변화, 의자위치, 벨트의 신율 및 체결상태, 에어백의 장착여부 등에 대한 변화가 있을 때에 이미 확립된 모델에 입력데이타를 수정 혹은 추가함으로써 충돌시 반응을 예상할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 그러나, 본 연구에서는 비록 우수한 모델링이 확립되었다 할지라도, 차종이나 주변환경이 바뀔때는 다시 모델링을 해야 되는 문제가 남게 되며 이때 필요한 대상차에 대한 입력데이타가 새로이 정의되어야만 한다.

  • In this paper, we focus on the study of educational contents using real vehicle based electric vehicle diagnosis system. To understand the electric vehicle, we describe the driving modes and operating principles of the core components and electric vehicles that make up the electric vehicles. In addition, we implemented a diagnostic system for analyzing the characteristics of the electric vehicle test bed and analyzed the characteristics of the vehicle based on the driving mode.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 수도권 전동차량의 주행성능을 평가하는 방법으로 진동성능을 비교검토하기 위하여 실차측정하고 분석한 것이다. 전동차량의 제작년도별로 측정대상차량을 샘플링하여 다양한 조건에서 진동을 측정하고 실측데이타를 시간영역의 통계적 방법으로 분석한 결과 제작년도에 따른 영향도 약간 나타났으며 전동차량의 2차 현가장치의 종류에 따른 영향을 발견할 수 있었다. 또한 측정선로구간의 특성에 따른 영향도 비교적 잘 나타나고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • In this study, an experiment on an air conditioning test bench was performed to verify the possibility of fuel economy simulation for the SC03 mode, North America fuel economy certification mode with a/c on condition, one of the vehicle fuel economy evaluation modes. The air conditioning test bench used in this study had each chamber simulating the actual vehicle air conditioning system and the controlling temperature, humidity, and air flow velocity to reproduce environmental conditions. Reliable results were obtained about the compressor RPM and inlet air velocity in front of the condenser corresponding to vehicle speed and air velocity in front of the vehicle, respectively, in the simulation of the SC03 mode, previously performed in CWT, in an air conditioning test bench. It was also discovered that there was a distinct difference in the fuel economy depending on the difference in the compressor displacement in the simulation test of the SC03 mode in the air conditioning test bench under various displacement conditions of the compressor.

  • In this study, the effects of the compressor for the air conditioning system on the fuel economy were experimentally investigated in an actual automobile. This study aims to analyze the level of contribution of the driving torque of the compressor to the fuel economy. A torque sensor, which is directly set on the clutch of the compressor, is developed to obtain data about the compressor load, which influences the fuel efficiency, and then, the reliability of the torque sensor is verified by comparing the results with those of a torque meter in a bench test. An actual automobile equipped with the compressor and torque sensor is operated in a climate wind tunnel in which appropriate facilities are set up to evaluate the fuel efficiency. The compressor driving torque resulting from the difference in the compressor displacement is found to influence the fuel economy, and the fuel economy is found to be worsened by up to 2~3% with an around 11% increase in the compressor displacement under the same conditions.

  • In this paper, validation of Driver Steering Model has been conducted. The comparison between the simulation model and vehicle test results shows that the model is very feasible for describing combined human driver and actual vehicle dynamic behaviors. The 3D vehicle model is consisted of 6-DOF sprung mass and 4-quarter car model for vehicle body dynamics. Powertrain model including differential gear and Pacejka tire model are applied. The driver steering model is also validated with vehicle test result. The driver steering model is based on angle and displacement error from the desired path, recognized by driver.
