남북분단 60년 한반도의 남북철도 역시 분단되어 왔으나 2007년 5월19일 경의선과 동해선에서 동시에 열차시험운행을 통해 단절되었던 남북철도가 다시 연결되었다. 그러나 이후 경의선 열차 운행이 잠정 중단됨으로써 남북철도 운행은 언제 깨어날지 모르는 깊은 동면에 들어갔다. 남북철도 연결은 정치 사회적인 의미를 고려하지 않더라도 남북한을 하나의 교통망으로 묶는 실질적 수단인 동시에 한반도를 대륙과 연결함으로써 고립에서 벗어날 수 있는 중요한 기회를 제공하는 도구임에 분명하다. 분단 이후 남한과 북한의 철도는 상이(相異)한 시스템을 유지해 왔고, 북한은 오랜 경제난으로 철도보수와 현대화가 뒤쳐져 있는 상황이다. 이는 남북철도가 현대사회에서 요구하는 교통수단으로 정착되기 위해서는 수많은 정책적 기술적 현안들을 해결해야 함을 의미한다. 본 고에서는 남북철도 연결에 수반되는 여러 현안 중 재원조달방안을 중심으로 1)그동안 학계에서 제안된 기존 방법론들을 조사하고, 2)최근 새로운 투자방법으로 주목받고 있는 실물옵션에 대해 설명하고, 3)이를 남북철도 개발에 적용하는 방법에 대해 다루고자 한다.

This paper explores how multiple facets of social capital in Korea affects social conflict. The notion of social capital is composed of several elements including (1) social trust in generalized others (2) confidence in public sector fairness and the principles of democracy (3) social networks and closures and (4) community spirit and collective norms. We particularly examine how these multiple dimensions of social capital affect an individual`s tendency of social conflict orientation. The findings address the following four points. First, an individual, who trusts generalized others in a society, is less likely to be exclusive and conflict-oriented. Second, the more an individual has confidence in the efficacy of democratic processes and public sector fairness, the more (s)he is likely to be social integration oriented. When an individual, in contrast, gives strong support to a particular party (or government in power), the person is more likely to be conflict oriented. Third, an individual who mobilizes exclusive social closures to solve a problem is more likely to be conflict oriented. However, an individual who maintains a variety of inclusive social networks is more likely to be social integration oriented. Finally, the internalization of collective norms does not affect directly the tendency of individual's social conflict orientation. Increasing social capital at the individual level does not automatically guarantee societal level conflict resolutions. Rather, building extensive social closures based on strong family or hometown ties, school connections, political interests has detrimental effects on social integration and conflict resolutions. More, constructive social integration in a society requires higher level of open social networks, consistent administrative and democratic procedures, and social trust in generalized others.

음성 데이터를 IP기반의 패킷망을 통해 전송하는 기술인 VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) 기술은 음성 데이터를 기존의 PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network)망을 통해 전송하는 방식에 비해 비용 절감 등의 장점을 가지고 있다. 그러나 VoIP가 기존의 PSTN망을 대체하기 위해서는 QoS(Quality of Service)의 보장과 보안이 제공되어야 한다는 문제점을 가지고 있다. VoIP망에서 보안을 위해서는 사용자간에 전송되는 음성 데이터에 대한 보안과 초기의 세션 연결 시 사용자를 인증하는 과정이 고려되어져야 한다. 실질적인 대화 내용인 음성 데이터의 보안도 중요한 부분이지만 대화에 참여하는 사용자를 인증하는 과정이 선행되어야 한다. VoIP에서는 세션 연결 설정을 위해 H.323과 SIP를 사용하고 있으며, 최근에는 H.323에 비해 간단한 SIP가 주목을 받고 있다. RFC3261에서는 SIP를 이용해 세션 연결을 하는 과정에서 사용자를 인증하기 위한 몇 가지 인증 메커니즘을 제시하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SIP를 이용하여 세션을 연결하는 과정에서 사용자의 인증을 위해 사용되는 인증 메커니즘 중 한 가지인 HTTP Digest Authentication의 취약점을 분석하고, 이를 보완하기 위한 새로운 인증 메커니즘을 제시한다.

해양활동의 급속한 확대로 해마다 발생하는 해양사고의 발생이 증가하고 있으며, 사상자 수도 비례적으로 증가하고 있다. 이러한 사고를 줄이기 위해서, 다양한 구조 요청 기기가 개발되고 제시되되어 왔으나 단일화 되지 못한 통신 방법, 구조 요청 과정에 대한 사용자의 인식 부족으로 실질적인 구조 요청 장치의 사용율이 지극히 낮다. 또한 해양의 특수성으로 인하여 제시되어온 기기를 이용하기 위해서는 큰 비용이 소요되었다. 이에 따라 실질적인 구조 가능성을 높이고 해양사고로 인한 사상자를 최소화하기 위해 본 연구의 목적은 실험평가와 경험적 공식을 바탕으로 일반 사용자가 손쉽게 접근 가능한 안드로이드 애플리케이션과 연결된 자동 구조 요청 장치를 개발한 것으로, 본 연구는 현장 및 실험실 시험의 결과에 근거하여, MOB 구출을 위한 자동 구조 요청 장치의 사양을 확정 검증하는 실용화 연구를 수행하였다.

유비퀴터스 멀티 프로젝트 환경에서 프로젝트 팀은 프로젝트 결과를 얻기 위해 필요한 업무를 도출하여 실행한다. 이를 위해 실질적인 팀 관리 및 요구 사항 정제가 이뤄져야 성공적인 제품 출시로 연결될 수 있다. 프로젝트 관리에서 중요한 부분은 프로젝트 진행 사항에 대한 가시적인 조회와 평가가 중요하다. 그러기 위해서는 협업과 공동 책임 업무에 대한 지원이 필요하다. 이 논문에서 애자일 개발 방법론에 기반한 프로젝트 관리 및 협업 지원 방법 및 시스템을 제안한다.

For business purposes, it is important to identify diffusion power users, a group of users who have big influence on other users in diffusing content. In this paper, we use the independent cascade model for determining diffusion power users, and to do so, we need a method for calculating the assimilation probability between users. This paper proposes the concepts of user delivery power and a way to quantifying the value of this. User delivery power is used to compute the assimilation probability with user content power. We analyze the proposed method by comparing its performance with those of existing methods through experiments using a real blog network data.

IT 기술의 눈부신 성장과 함께 가시화되고 있는 유비쿼터스 환경은 언제 어디서나 사용자가 원하는 서비스를 제공 받을 수 있는 환경으로, 무선통신기술 및 개체 식별 기술 등의 발달과 더불어 점점 현실화되고 있다. 하지만, 모든 유비쿼터스 개체에 IP가 부여되고 이를 기반으로 하는 진정한 유비쿼터스 환경이 현실화되기에는 아직까지 IPv6등 실질적인 인프라가 완벽하게 구축되어 있지 않아 다소 어려운 점이 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 IPv4 환경에서 웹 서비스를 이용하여 실질적인 IP기반의 유비쿼터스 환경을 실현하기 위한 아키텍처를 제시한다. 이 아키텍처는 IPv4 및 IPv6에서 동작 가능하며, PC 및 핸드폰, PDA, 홈 가전기기 등의 모든 기기들을 연결한 통합 네트워크 환경상에서 실질적인 유비쿼터스 서비스의 실현을 목적으로 한다. 이러한 유비쿼터스 웹 서비스 아키텍처상에서, 유비쿼터스 서비스를 제공하는 개체는 유비쿼터스 웹 서비스 명세언어인 uWSOL을 통해 명세되고, 해당 유비쿼터스 서비스를 사용하고자 하는 사용자가 이를 바탕으로 해당 개체와 적절한 메시지 통신을 주고 받을 수 있게 함으로써 유비쿼터스 환경을 실현한다.

웹 환경의 확산과 기업의 인수합병 등으로 기업 내 응용 시스템들을 연결하는 작업의 중요성이 날로 커지고 있다. 이에 따라 EAI(Enterprise Application Integration)은 현재 기업 정보시스템 전략의 새로이 부각되고 있는 이슈로 아직 국내에서는 이에 대한 실질적인 연구나 도입이 미미한 형편이다. 본 논문에서는 현재 나타나고 있는 각종 EAI 접근법들을 분석하여 이들의 특정을 살펴보고 EAI에 대한 체계적 연구를 위한 EAI의 분류 체계를 제시하는데 목적이 있다.

On April 27 2018, North-South Korea agreed to establish the practical methods for connecting the railway in the inter-Korean summit talks. This is often reported that the train will be operated directly between Busan and Europe. However, there are many problems for the railway to directly connect between Busan and Europe. Because a train from Busan to Europe should pass through North Korea, China or Russia, and each national railway systems are different. Thus, South Korean railway has to study thoroughly an interoperability before railways directly operates between a nation and another. The standards and technical harmony for direct connection with a different railway network is very important, because a rail transport is a total network system. This paper surveyed a European railway interoperability and studied on the basic direct operation for the North-South Korean railway systems.
