A Study on the Teaching and Learning of Cultural Heritage from the Perspective of Constructivism (구성주의 관점의 문화재 교수·학습 연구 - 문화재청 인증 문화재교육 프로그램 분석을 중심으로 -)

  • Cultural heritage teaching and learning, which uses cultural heritage as educational content, has not been sufficiently analyzed and studied based on clear educational theories so far. Among educational theories, constructivism is a theory in which learning is a process of constructing learning contents determined by learners' individual experiences and interests, and the result is evaluated as a confirmation of whether or not they have the ability to carry out the process. Cultural heritage is a lively and interesting social and cultural product, and it is an educational content that has sufficient educational function and meaning for a textbook. It is considered to be a very meaningful study to apply the constructivist educational theory to the educational contents of cultural heritage with these characteristics. Based on this awareness of the problem, this study examined the characteristics and principles of constructivist teaching and learning, the characteristics of cultural heritage, and the principles of constructivist teaching and learning on a theoretical basis. In addition, from the perspective of constructivism, the current cultural heritage teaching and learning was analyzed and problems were derived. Based on this, the direction of cultural heritage teaching and learning is that the cultural heritage teaching and learning process should be learner-centered, the teaching and learning principle should be cognitive conflict, the teaching and learning content should be in the form of task solving, and teaching and learning activities should be cooperative. presented. In addition, an example of a program was presented to specifically show the actual state of teaching and learning of cultural assets from the perspective of constructivism. Cultural heritage teaching and learning research from the perspective of constructivism will be an opportunity to discover new meanings of cultural heritage that we have not yet found, and it will also serve as an opportunity to present and establish the direction of cultural heritage teaching and learning, which has been barren until now.

  • The purpose of this case study is to get an implication on elementary pre-service teacher education programs by exploring how a pre-service teacher's noticing changes within a learning community. The pre-service teacher participated in a learning community with researchers. Data includes recordings and transcription of actual class and pre- and post discussion in the learning community, the pre-service teacher's reflection essays, field notes, and students' worksheets. Results are as follows. First, the pre-service teacher's attending moved from the result of tasks to students' mathematical thinking. Second, the pre-service teacher's interpretation changed from a lack of diversity and specificity of evidence to diversity and specificity. Third, the pre-service teacher's decision-makings changed from unproductive deciding to productive deciding.

A Study on Typography Style by Deconstructionism (해체주의(Deconstructionism) 경향의 타이포그래피 스타일에 관한 연구)

  • It has been known that deconstruction has affected various fields as literature, architecture, an, film, industrial design, and so on. Especially, deconstruction has applied into a wide scope of the design related fields through diverse ways and the results also show that there is a great potentiality in the ways of it's expression with different styles. Deconstruction design has been approached in connection with post-modernism, deconstruction theory of J. Derrida and pluralistic post industrial society. In particular, it is obvious that deconstruction philosophy has deeply affected the fields of visual design and typography which are mostly communicated with symbols and texts. This study intends to examine how the deconstruction theory has been practically applied into the typography by analyzing the change of deconstruction typographic styles and exploring the distinctiveness of the change.

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the context of cosumers' lives in Korea with a narrative analysis method. The epistemological orientation of eh narrative analysis is Interpretivism, which blends the two polar philosophical perspectives, Empiricism and Rationalism, and includes Narrotology, Hermeneneutics, Semiotics, and Structural Criticism. Narrative analysis takes as its object of investigation the story itself. This study collects eleven narrative plots from four housewives, into which Labov's structural approach is applied. This study shows clearly that the socio-cultural environment in which consumers live has strong influence on their consumption behavior and also reveals that narrativization tells not only about past actions but how individuals understand those actions, that is, meaning.

  • 운동요법은 인슐린이 발견되기 수세기 이전부터 당뇨병의 치료로 이용되어 왔으며, 운동이 당뇨병환자의 신체 대사에 미치는 단기 및 장기 효과에 대해서도 이미 많은 연구결과들이 보고되어 그 유용성이 증명되었다. 그러나 많은 당뇨병환자들이 막상 운동을 시작하려해도 어떻게 시작하는 것이 효과적이고 어떤 점을 유의해야하는 지에 대해서는 잘 알지 못하고 있는 것이 사실이다. 그래서 여기서는 당뇨병환자에게 있어서 실제적인 운동 시 주의해야 할 점에 대해서 알아보고자 한다. 사실 운동프로그램을 시작하기 전에 당뇨병환자는 적절한 진단 검사와 자세한 의학적 평가가 이루어져야만 한다. 여기에는 운동에 의해서 악화될 수 있는 혈관성 합병증의 유무도 자세히 살펴보아야만 한다. 심장, 혈관, 눈, 신장, 신경계에 영향을 미치는 질병의 증상과 증후에 초점을 맞추어 세심한 병력과 신체진찰을 받고 환자 개개인에 대한 위험을 최소화 할 수 있는 개별화된 운동처방에 따라 운동을 시작하는 것이 바람직하다.

  • In this paper, we first exam the relation between Piaget's theory of cognitive development and cognitive constructivism. With it's outcome We find three principles of constructivist teaching-learning methods for primary mathematics These are as follows 1) active learning based on self-regulatory process 2) empirical learning by self initiated activities 3) individual learning derived from present cognitive structure and fits of new experiences. Finally we introduce several examples for classroom practice applied the above principles in primary mathematics.

  • The effect of end restraints for adjoining members is the different variables influencing the column ultimate strength and the behavior. The propose of this study is to analyze eccentrically loaded reinforced concrete columns with the end restraind effect having rectangular cross-section and general boundary conditions. Accordingly, this investigation are to construct a typical analytical model of the reinforced concrete columns with general end boundary conditions. The mechanical components of the analytical model are to be rationally defined the actual behavior as possible, and the different variables influencing the behavior and the ultimate strength of the reinforced concrete columns are investigated by using a parametric study.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 최근 운전자 행동에 대한 연구 방법으로 매우 중요하게 대두되고 있는 운전 시뮬레이션 방법을 이용하여 운전자들이 보이는 기본적인 운전 수행 능력 및 이러한 운전 수행 능력과 관련이 가장 깊은 것으로 기존의 연구들이 밝혀왔던 기본적인 지각적/인지적/운동적 수행 능력을 측정하여 운전자 수행을 평가하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 특히 운전자의 운전 수행 및 운전과 관련된 기본적인 정신/운동 수행 능력은 정보 처리적 관점에서 측정되고 분석되었으며, 이를 통해 운전자들이 보이는 기본적인 정보처리 능력의 패턴에 대한 전반적 이해를 시도하였다. 본 연구에서는 기본적인 운전 수행 능력을 평가하는데 사용되는 차량의 속도 유지와 차선 유지에 대한 측정치와 더불어 운전과 관련한 인간 수행 중에서 단순 반응 능력, 선택 반응 능력, 속도 추정 능력, 청각적 주의나 시각적 주의의 분산 능력 등이 운전 시뮬레이션을 통하여 운전 중에 실시간으로 측정되었다. 본 연구에서 수집된 자료는 운전자들의 실제 운전 수행 및 이와 관련된 정보 처리 활동에 대한 표준화된 준거를 제시하는데 기초적 자료로 사용될 수 있으리라 생각된다.

Accordingly, this investigation is to construct a typical analytical model of the reinforced concrete columns with general boundary conditions. The mechanical components of the analytical model are to be rationally defined so as to model the actual behavior as closely as possible, and the ultimate strength of the reinforced concrete columns are investigated by end restrained effect.

  • In this paper, a pattern spectrum component function is introduced for an oriented shape analysis and its properties are discussed. It can represent directional information of shape more precisely than the conventional oriented pattern spectrum. An adaptive distance function between two pattern spectrum component functions is presented to recognize different shapes in noise. As a practical application, the pattern spectrum component function is applied to warning traffic sign recognitions utilizing the adaptive distance functions. Favorable results are obtained compared to the oriented pattern spectrum.
