  • The purpose of this study is to define On-line Video Syllabus Template which is based on adaptive mode with interaction.A syllabus has the significance as a teaching and learning plan. However, it has not only been considered as a formal document, has also been limited into a simple query since it has been made into a fragmentary structure, lacking of link between other services and reuse. Additionally, this paper is aimed to design three-dimensional syllabus which makes it possible to provide students with practical information related to teaching and learning and share it with teachers and students. The following is the technique proposed in this paper. It is made to be served for the Syllabus centered on teaching and learning, which is including the definition of hierarchy structure, the media contents application according to the learner's preference and real-time variation function. On-line Video Syllabus provided through LMS has availability and credibility of teaching and learning, in that it enable increased utilization by strengthening convenience.

Analysis on the Practices of Mathematical Assessment (수학 지필 평가의 실제 분석)

  • The aim of the study is to explore some problems that we have to solve to execute assessments effectively and in agreement with the objectives of them. We analysed the practices of some assessments Including our national assessment of educational achievement and the third international mathematics and science study with focussing on the frames of assessments, the analyses of results, and the items presented in the assessments. The results of the study are the following. Firstly, we need to make the frame of assessment to agree with the objectives of assessment and to reflect the characteristics of the item related to a few areas. Secondly, we need to analyse the results of assessment with reflecting the frames of assessment. Thirdly, we need to discuss more concretely on the level and presentation of items including the order of conditions to need to solve the items. And lastly, we need to minimize the difference caused by the variations of translation in the international assessments.

Mobile Panorama System via 3D Model Reconstruction (3차원 모델 재구성을 통한 모바일 파노라마 시스템)

  • We can use panorama systems or image based modeling systems when we want to make 3D space model and look around result. Panorama systems make 3D model to stitch images and map cylinder or cube. The structure of 3D model, made by panorama system, is not same as structure of a real room, so user can't infer a real structure. Typically, Image based modeling systems work on a desktop computer. That makes it difficult to reconstruct 3D model in real time and take long time for processing. In this paper, we propose a 3D panorama modeling system that uses images on a mobile device. This system reconstructs a 3D space model, similar with a real room in real time, from multiple images captured part of rooms. Using this system, user can reconstruct various shape of space and look around a 3D space model.

A study on applying of the ITC-Hulls & ISM Code for the Accident of the Foundering Ship (선박침몰사고에 따른 ITC 협회약관 및 ISM Code 적용에 관한 연구)

  • This paper was provided to apply the ITC-Hulls Clauses & ISM Code for the accident of sunken ship which was occurred by seamen's barratry. For the causes of the sunken accident, the underwriter insisted toot shipowner submerged the vessel intentionally for the purpose of the insured amounts, while shipowner protests toot the ship was submerged because of crews faults. In this connection, the judge sentenced toot this accident was caused by humans errors as the Provisions of 6.2.4 of ITC-Hulls, however shipowner is responsible for hiring onboard qualified seafarers and carrying out the due diligence for performing ISM Code for ensuring ship's safety and seaworthiness.

  • Big data technologies are increasing the need for big data in many areas of the world. Recently, the health care industry has become increasingly aware of the importance of disease and health care services, as it has become increasingly immune to prevention and health care. To do this, we need a Big data system to collect and analyze the personal biometric data. In this paper, we design the biometric big data system using low cost wearable device. We collect basic biometric data, such as heart rate, step count and physical activity from Mi Band, and store the collected biometric data into MongoDB. Based on the results of this study, it is possible to build a big data system that can be used in actual medical environment by using Hadoop etc. and to use it in real medical service in connection with various wearable devices for medical information.

  • In this study, we consider a dynamic positioning system (DPS) design problem that can be extended to many application fields. Toward this end, tracking and positioning control problems are discussed. In particular, we design a tracking control system that incorporates an observer based on the 2-DOF servo system design approach in order to obtain the desired state information. In the case of observer design, a weighted $H_{\infty}$ error bound approach for a state estimator is considered. Based on an algebraic Riccati equation (inequality) approach, a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of a full-order estimator that satisfies the weighted $H_{\infty}$ error bound is introduced. The condition for the existence of the estimator is denoted by a linear matrix inequality (LMI) that yields an optimized solution and the observer gain.

  • An efficient and practical reliability evaluation method is proposed for the coastal structures in this paper. It is capable of evaluating reliability of real complicated coastal structures considering uncertainties in various sources of design parameters, such as wave and current loads, resistance-related design variables including Young's modulus and compressive strength of the reinforced concrete, soil parameters, and boundary conditions. It is developed by intelligently integrating the Latin Hypercube sampling (LHS), Monte Carlo simulation (MCS) and the finite element method (FEM). The LHS-based MCS is used to significantly reduce the computational effort by limiting the number of simulation cycles required for the reliability evaluation. The applicability and efficiency of the proposed method were verified using a caisson-type breakwater structure in the numerical example.

  • 막대한 예산을 투입하여 추진하고 있는 지자체 GIS사업은 기술의 발전에 비해 제도, 교육, 사용자의 마인드, 유지관리 활동, 향후 사업 구상 등에서 상대적인 빈곤을 경험하고 있는 것이 사실이다. 이렇듯 신기술이 도입됨에 따라 다양한 제반 여건들이 동반적으로 성숙하지 못함으로 인해 발생하는 현상을 과도기적 현상1)으로 진단하고 있다. 이미 다양한 분야에서 GIS를 도입한 지자체에서는 이러한 과도기적 현상을 극복하기 위해 상당한 어려움을 겪고 있으며, 새롭게 GIS를 도입하고자 하는 지자체에서도 타 지자체에서 모니터링을 통해 간접적으로 과도기적 현상을 경험함으로 인해 효과적인 사업 추진을 구상하는데 상당한 어려움을 겪고 있는 것이 현실이다. 또한 지자체의 경우 중앙정부에서 추진하고 있는 다양한 사업에 영향을 받을 수밖에 없고, 현재의 GIS 사업의 추세가 단순한 공간정보 중심의 사업이 아닌 다양한 속성정보와의 연계를 모색하고 있다는 점에서 지자체 GIS정보화의 방향은 예전과는 사뭇 다른 양상을 간파해 야 하는 현실에 놓여 있다. 이와 같은 지자체 GIS의 과도기적 현상을 극복하기 위해서는 정보기술의 빠른 변화속도와 외부환경의 극심한 환경변화의 상황에서 ‘보이는 것과 보이지 않는 것’의 관계를 진단하고, 변화에 대한 예측과 대비, 중요한 일과 급한 일을 구분한 총체적인 밑그림의 마련과 실행계획의 수립이 우선시 되어야 한다. 지자체 GIS의 문제 해결의 노력이 단숨에 바로 해결되는 것이 아니고, 또한 현재 추진된 사업을 기반으로 중복투자의 방지와 시너지 효과 극대화를 위한 투자의 노력이 장기간의 시간적 개념속에서 진행되어야 한다는 점에서 이를 이끌어줄 가이드가 필요한 것이다. 이러한 총체적인 지자체 GIS의 계획마련을 위해 건설교통부에서는 ‘국가지리정보구축 및 활용등에 관한 법률’상에 계획 수립의 항목을 명문화하고, 나아가 GIS정보화 전략계획 수립에 관한 지침작성을 위한 노력을 진행 중에 있다. 이러한 일련의 현실을 감안하여 지자체 GIS정보화 전략계획 수립을 체계적이고 실질적으로 수립할 수 있는 ‘지자체 GIS정보화 전략계획 수립모델’은 반드시 선행되어야 할 사항임에 분명하다. 지자체 GIS정보화 전략계획 수립 모델은 지자체 GIS정보화 전략계획 수립의 효과로 하고 있으며, 형식적 측면에서는 GIS특성을 반영한 전략계획 수립의 방법론적 측면을 중심으로 구성된다. 이러한 과정을 거처 실제 지자체 GIS정보화 전략계획을 수립하는데 필요한 9단계를 설정하고 각각의 단계에 대한 중심활동을 바탕으로 지자체에서 실제 전략계획 수립에 필요한 지침을 작성하는 것으로 구성되어 있다.

  • In this paper, we designed floating point units to accelate real-time 3D Graphics for Geometry processing. Designed floating point units support IEEE-754 single precision format and we confirmed 100 MHz performance of floating point add/mul unit, 120 MHz performance of floating point NR inverse division unit, 200 MHz performance of floating point power unit, 120 MHz performance of floating point inverse square root unit at Xilinx-vertex2. Also, using floating point units, designed Geometry processor and confirmed 3D Graphics data processing.

A Study on the Landscape Analysis and Evaluation Method : A Phenomenological Approach (경관분석 및 평가방법에 관한 연구 - 현상학적 접근 -)

  • Phenomenological approach suggests a new dimension in landscape evaluation, which is a contrast to the existing scientific evaluation methods. The characteristics of the phenomenological approach is qualitative, holistic, open, and experiential, whereas that of the scientific approach is quantitative, reductive, closed, and experimental. In phenomenological approach, the average response of a group is not considered as meaningful in landscape evaluation. Instead, the individual response, experience, and feeling are considered as important. In phenomenological approach, people try to see the real world as it is, while scientists tend to simplify the real world in order to handle the complex Phenomena easily. Due to its holistic and qualitative nature, the phenomenological approach has limitations to be a practical landscape evaluation technique. However, recent research demonstrate the possibility of practical phenomenological landscape evaluation technique which is able to satisfy the criteria scientific methods should meet.
