Development of Automatic Dependent Surveillance System with Java on Web Environment (자바를 이용한 인터넷 웹 방식의 항공기 자동감시시스템의 개발)

  • This paper describes the development of an automatic dependent surveillance system(ADS) with Java on Web environment. The ADS consists of a server module and a client one. The server module performs a database server for gathering GPS data from airplanes. It also dose an Web server function for sending Java applet to clients. The applet enables each client to obtain the current flight information from the server via the Internet without a special client software. This client-server based ADS with Java environment has several advantages over other systems. One is not to need for installing special client software on each client system. The other is its simplicity on system maintenance. The reason why it has simplicity is to require only server program modification including the applet without updating client software. After testing the ADS system with the flight information of a Mooney, we can show that the prototype system can be a candidate for developing commercial products.

  • 최근 한반도의 잇따른 북한의 Jamming(교란신호)으로 인해 무선통신 기반 산업에 피해사례가 늘고 있다. 이에 국토해양부(위성항법중앙사무소)에서 운영중인 위성항법보정시스템(이하 "DGPS") 데이터 분석하였다. 그 결과 2010년도 발생한 재밍과 달리 2011년도에는 DGPS 기준국/감시국에서는 감지가 되지 않은 것으로 분석 되었으나, 피해 현황을 조사하여 이를 토대로 범국가적 대책방안(항행 백업시스템 개발, 유관기관과의 정보공유를 통한 감지 통합시스템 구축) 및 DGPS 운영 효율성 확보방안(감시국 신설, 실시간 감시프로그램 강화 등)에 대하여 제안하였다.

  • 선박에서 AIS 탑재가 확대는 해상에서의 전산 시스템 기술 발전에 큰 영향을 미치고 있다. AIS는 VTS가 선박의 식별, 트랙킹, 모니터링과 같은 일반적으로 알려진 기능을 제공하는 것뿐만 아니라 해상 교통 연구, 통계 분석, 학술 연구에 유용한 실시간 정보를 제공하기도 한다. 그러나 AIS 관측 자료의 신속한 축적은 이루어지고 있지만 VTS 플랫폼 측면에서 선박 위치 자료를 수집하고 분석하는데 한계가 있다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구는 데이터 마이닝 기술과 GIS기술을 적용하여 AIS 자료를 분석하고자 한다. 이것은 해상 교통 관리 분야에 GIS 분석, 데이터베이스 관리 체계, 데이터 웨어하우징, 데이터 마이닝과 같은 잠재된 가치 정보를 도출하는 기술과 통합하는 시도이다. 현재 몇가지 제약사항이 있지만, 향후 VTS 관제 업무에 유용한 자원을 제공하는 새로운 방안이 될 것이다.

  • This paper describes a heuristic search technique carrying out collision avoidance for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles(AUVs). Fuzzy relational products are used as the mathematical implement for the analysis and synthesis of relations between obstacles that are met in the navigation environment and available candidate nodes. In this paper, we propose a more effective evaluation function that reflects the heuristic information of domain experts on obstacle clearance, and an advanced heuristic search method performing collision avoidance for AUVs. The search technique adopts fuzzy relational products to conduct path-planning of intelligent navigation system. In order to verify the performance of proposed heuristic search, it is compared with $A^*$ search method through simulation in view of the CPU time, the optimization of path and the amount of memory usage.

Evaluation of Waterway Dredging Work using Spud Control System (스퍼드제어시스템을 이용한 항로준설작업의 평가)

  • The most important point when we engage on waterway dredging work is supplying safe navigational passage to the vessels underway by narrowing dredge work area and removing submerged dangers. In order to meet this end it is neccessary to use auxiliary equipment for shifting actively and mooring and adopt automation of dredging work by integrating information on real time position, dredging depth, and work information. The danger with a spud control system in this study, by the way, is able to employed on continuous dredging work with the narrowest working area allowing wide and safe passages to vessels underway, by moving the dredger to the working zone with the spud controlled automatically. Furthermore, it has been improved definitely compared with the existing dredging proccess management system such that it shows the track of spud and working depth on the electronic navigation chart of window, together with the final outcome of dredging work. The test dredging work at the entrance of Busan North Port for system evaluation showed that actual working time available was twice of the one by the existing anchor system, and that it reduced 38% of time for preparation work and one man power.

A Simulation of 3-D Navigation System of the Helicopter based on TRN Using Matlab

  • This study has been carried for the development of the basic algorithm of helicopter navigation system based on TRN (Terrain Referenced Navigation) with information input from the GPS. The helicopter determines flight path due to Origination-Destination analysis on the Cartesian coordinate system of 3-D DTM. This system shows 3-D mesh map and the O-D flight path profile for the pilot's acknowledgement of the terrain, at first. The system builds TCF (terrain clearance floor) far the buffer zone upon the surface of ground relief to avid the ground collision. If the helicopter enters to the buffer zone during navigation, the real-time warning message which commands to raise the body pops up using Matlab menu. While departing or landing, control of the height of the body is possible. At present, the information (x, y, z coordinates) from the GPS is assumed to be input into the system every 92.8 m of horizontal distance while navigating along flight path. DTM of 3" interval has been adopted from that which was provided by ChumSungDae Co., Ltd..

  • 항공이동통신분야에서는 아날로그형 음성통신의 한계점을 극복하고, 운용자의 업무 부담을 경감할 목적으로 항공이동데이터통신망(VDL)을 이용한 데이터 통신이 항공운용통신(AOC) 분야에서 발전되었으며, 이를 항공교통서비스(ATS) 분야에 적용하기 위한 연구가 국제민간항공기구(ICAO)의 CNS/ATM 구축 권고에 의하여 미국, 유럽 등 항공 선진국에서 진행되고 있다. 본 논문은 항공교통서비스 분야에 VDL을 이용한 데이터 링크 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 디지털형의 출발전비행허가(PDC) 시스템을 개발한 내용의 결과이다. 개발된 PDC 시스템은 하나의 PC급 단일 시스템으로 항공교통관제소, VDL 통신망, 관제사 등이 원격으로 연동되어 실시간 및 동시에 PDC 정보를 처리하여야 한다. 이를 위하여 제안된 기법은 하나의 프로세서에 여러 개의 쓰레드를 갖는 멀티 쓰레드 방식이 도입되어 설계되었다. 멀티 쓰레드 방식이 사용된 이유는 시스템의 간소화, 효율적인 내부 자원의 이용, 데이터 처리에 있어서 우수한 성능을 발휘하기 때문이다. 본 논문은 김포공항 PDC 시스템의 구조 및 설계 내용을 기술하고, 실제 운용 결과에 대한 데이터를 분석하였다. 김포공항 PDC 시스템의 운용결과를 이용한 분석한 결과, 운용초기단계로 모든 항공기에 시스템이 구축되지 않아 매일 평균 25대의 항공기가 운용하여 평균 10%의 이용률을 나타내며, 최대 34대의 항공기가 이용하고 있다. 메시지 송/수신에 걸리는 시간을 분석한 결과, 항공기의 PDC 요청부터 MAS의 수신에 소요되는 시간은 최소 14초부터 최대 983초(16분 23초)까지로써, 평균 122초(2분 2초)의 시간을 나타내었다. 또한 신뢰성을 확인하기 위하여 가용도를 계산한 결과 99.7%로써 상당히 신뢰할 수 있는 수준이었다. 또한, 다중 처리를 위하여 사용된 방식인 멀티 쓰레드 방식이 적절히 동작함을 확인할 수 있었다. 앞으로, 전체 연동 시스템이 자동화로 구축될 경우, PDC의 요청부터 발송 및 확인까지 상당히 짧은 시간 내에 이루어져 관제업무 능률을 향상시킬 수 있을 것이다.

  • In this paper, we devise a new ontology-based context-aware system to recognize the smart car information, in which driver's intent is utilized by information of car, driver, environment as well as driving state, driver state. So proposed system can handle dynamically risk changes by adding real-time situational awareness information. We utilize the camera image recognition technology for context-aware intelligent vehicle driving information, and implement information acquisition scheme OBD-II protocol to acquire vehicle's information. Experiments confirm that the proposed advanced driver safety assist system outperforms the conventional system, which only utilizes the information of vehicle, driver, and environmental information, to support the service of a high-speed driving, lane-departure service and emergency braking situation awareness.
