An Exploratory Study on Adoption of Public Institution's Mobile Service: Focusing on In-Depth Interviews with Users and Experts (공공기관 모바일 서비스 수용에 관한 탐색적 연구: 사용자 및 전문가 대상 심층인터뷰를 중심으로)

  • Government and public institutions have been releasing a number of mobile applications in order to provide diverse public services in the mobile environment. However, due to their one-sided and fragmented service with the lack of adequate care for users, the utilization rate is extremely poor. Therefore, this study, based on a relevant literature review, identified and derived the five key factors (usefulness, convenience, interactivity, information credibility, and social pressure) for users' mobile service adoption. Then, through in-depth interviews with five users and five experts regarding the 'business support app' of one public agency (H institution) that specializes in SMEs, we found that all of these factors are important for users' mobile service adoption. Users' satisfaction could be significantly improved through real-time response to their needs. In addition, providing them with useful and tailored information can lead to mutual trust between public institutions and users. Consequently, as these user-oriented services can increase users' loyalty and boost the utilization rate of the public apps, public institutions should always put persistent efforts to cope with users' demands.

  • VOD Service, which has established a solid foothold as a profit model of digital broadcasting companies, is emerging as a key application of the N-screen technologies and services. In the circumstance, broadcasting companies are trying to promoting their VOD services by providing mobile services for improving the VOD service usability. The paper introduces a VOD mobile app (of a domestic digital cable broadcasting), which includes the functions of promoting the VOD programs and events printed on a VOD guide book, directly transmitting the information (e.g., book-marking and remote-control signals) to a set-top box, and watching the video contents stored in the mobile device on TV.

  • 현대인들의 건강한 식생활에 대한 관심이 높아짐에 따라 식단 관리의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 이에 따라 식단 관리 서비스를 제공하는 시스템이 등장하고 있다. 하지만 기존의 많은 앱들은 복잡하고 시간이 많이 소요되는 입력방식으로 사용자들의 지속적인 앱 사용에 걸림돌이 되었다. 또한 사용자에게 실질적으로 필요하고 유용한 정보를 제공하지 않는다. 따라서 빠르고 쉬운 식단입력으로 즉각적이고 유의미한 정보를 제공하는 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 시스템은 음성인식, 글자인식 등의 다양한 입력방식을 이용하여 편리한 식단입력이 가능하고 입력된 식단을 통하여 식품 영양학적 분석을 하는 모바일 앱이다. 또한 제안한 모바일 앱은 실시간으로 사용자의 식사 계획 및 결정에 활용 가능한 정보를 제공한다.

  • 외부 데이터베이스를 사용해서 서비스하는 스마트폰 어플리케이션은 네이티브 앱과 모바일 웹을 병행하여 서비스 한다. 일반적인 어플리케이션 환경에서는 외부 데이터베이스에 리소스 및 연산 결과 등의 모든 정보를 담아 두고 접근하여 활용하는 방식을 사용하였다. 반면에 스마트폰 어플리케이션 환경에서 네이티브 앱을 활용하면 디바이스 내부에 외부 데이터베이스의 정보 및 리소스를 저장하여 활용한다. 이 경우 네이티브 앱에서 연산을 수행하고 변경되는 데이터가 발생하면 외부 데이터베이스에 접근하여 업데이트를 수행한다. 그 이유는 병행 접근이 가능한 서비스의 경우 차후에 현재 접근한 네이티브 앱이 아닌 모바일 웹으로 접근하였을 때를 대비해서 최근의 데이터를 항상 유지해야 하기 때문이다. 많은 사용자를 보유한 서비스의 경우 빈번히 발생하는 데이터 업데이트 문제로 많은 자원 소모가 발생된다. 본 논문에서는 앞서 언급한 문제를 해결하고 네이티브 앱과 모바일 웹간의 데이터 연동을 위하여 외부 데이터베이스의 접근을 최소화 하는 기법을 제안한다. 실시간으로 사용자들끼리 정보를 주고받아 상호작용하는 서비스의 빈도가 상당히 낮거나 없는 스마트폰 어플리케이션 환경에서는 서버 접근을 최소화 하는 것이 좋은 방법이다. 제안의 핵심은 네이티브 앱과 모바일 웹의 기본적인 접속 정보만 외부 데이터베이스에 업데이트하여 차후 접속하는 타입이 현재와 다른 경우에만 최근에 변경된 데이터를 외부 데이터베이스에 업데이트하여 서버의 부하를 최소화 하는 것이다. 이 기술을 활용하면 서비스 업체의 경우 서버 유지비용을 낮출 수 있으며 사용자는 빈번히 일어나는 서버와의 통신에 소요되는 비용 및 끊김 현상으로 인한 불편함을 최소화할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • 전 세계적으로 기후변화에 대해 민감하게 대응하고 있으며, 이중 국내에서는 지난 2018년 폭염을 자연 재난으로 개정했다. 대구시는 매년 지역 현안의 해결과제로 폭염 재난을 언급하고 있다. 이전 연구를 통해 대구시를 대상으로 온열 질환 취약 계층을 고려한 폭염 대응 관제 플랫폼을 개발했다. 본 연구는 온열 질환 의심 환자 판별알고리즘 및 실시간 모바일 앱 알림 서비스를 추가 적용 등 플랫폼 고도화 작업을 진행했다.

  • Currently, in China, mobile live broadcasts are more popular compared to online live broadcasts. Accordingly, this research focused on Wanghong, SNS's flagship live broadcasting app. In other words, Wanghong refers to an internet celebrity who acts online on social network services (SNS) influencing many other people. This study specifically focused on one social network service and conducted a study on live app users. The study first analyzed the quality factors of an SNS to users using China's live app. Secondly, the research investigated in finding out the impact of quality on the satisfaction of live app users and how this affects the live app user's satisfaction on their intention of continuous use. Studies have shown that information quality, system quality, and social quality among SNS quality have a positive influence on live app user satisfaction. However, the quality of service and the quality of emotion was rejected by the hypothesis. Throughout this study, we hope to create an app that allows users to share more satisfying mobile images, thereby establishing various episodes holding beautiful places of their life on a real-time basis. It is hoped that live broadcasting businesses will spread a significant impact around the world. Finally, in the future, research on the study of collective comparison between Korea and China on SNS is believed to be meaningful.

  • Objective : Recently, the demand for wearable mobile devices for the monitoring and improvement of one's health and quality of life is increasing. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the need of potential users in order to develop mobile health based and lifestyle care application for the elderly. Methods : Participants who lived in their community and used a mobile phone were recruited. Finally, a total of 84 participants completed the survey. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and a t-test, which was carried out with SPSS version 25.0. Results : The application functions that users deemed important for a lifestyle care app were the number of daily steps, physical activity, blood pressure, sleep, nutrition and participation in activity. Interestingly, there was a significant difference in the importance given to the app function of participation in activities between age groups. Conclusion : This study investigated the need and preferences of potential users of health and lifestyle care application for the promotion of health among the elderly. The, findings obtained from this study could be a valuable resource for the development of lifestyle care application.

  • Currently, the height of ships that can pass under Busan Harbor Bridge is limited to 60m or shorter, so that large-sized ships of 60m or taller cannot use Busan Harbor international passenger terminal. Accordingly, this study has developed a service which measures continuously the change of bridge height by water level changes and provides such in real-time for safe bridge passage of large-sized ships of 60m or taller. The measurement system comprised of high-precision laser distance measurement device, GPS sensor, optical module, and damping structure is used to measure the bridge height change according to tide level changes, and the measured information is provided in real-time through cloud-based mobile app. Also, in order to secure objective bridge height data for changes to height limits and navigation supports, the observation data was analyzed and forecast model was drawn. As a result, it became an objective evidence to revise the passage height rules of the Busan Port Bridge from 60 meters to 63 meters.

This study is based u-smart tourist information systems for mobile learning content design. Design of mobile learning content using u-smart things smart phone app (App) and XMI to go through the design process of utilizing the heat. Future through the design process by implementing a mobile learning content to meet information quality tourist information content to create mobile learning content and learning things that can be content to live it up advantage.
